The Arrangement tab only appears in System Preferences Displays pane if a second display is recognized by the system (the OS). So it seems like your MacBook is not seeing the TV as being connected.
Describe the video connection between MacBook and TV... What type of video out port does your MacBook model have? How is it converted to the type of port used on the TV? -
when i did all that shows up in disk utility now is something called expansion and all my opitions are greyed out in the partation tab, it doesnt mount and idk what to do please help.

8gbs memI would try it on a PC and see if you can format it, then put it back on the Mac and try again. If it's not seen on a PC, then there's the strong likelihood that there's a hardware issue; either the bridge/chip set or the HD itself is dying/dead. There's also the small possibility that the cable is faulty, so I'd try a different cable too.

It is possible that the files are read only or you do not have permission to delete for the music folder in Windows.
If you go into Get Info for a track, will it let you edit? If not it is probably one of the above. -

Hi! Can you help me? Though I see the list of music which the iTunesMatch uploaded to iCloud from my iTunes Library of my PC I can't find a download button on my iPhone.
If Match is 'on' and your phone is online, then you should get the cloud icon to the right of the songs (that are only in the cloud) in the Music app - does that show next to any of the songs ? If it does then tapping on the cloud icon should download that song.

My phone was charging and then it wouldnt turn back on and the lock button is jammed so i cant really do anything. Please help me, i havent had it for very long.
i put that i held down the home button and all that... sorry, should of made my message a little clearer hun.. but i did try that, ive been searching video's on the net trying to figure out how to fix the problem, but nothing seems to be working... ive just tried pluging the usb lead into my phone while holding the home button then connecting it to my computer to see if itunes fires up, but even that didnt work... i dont know what else to try.

A backup doesn't contain the actual apps, just their content and settings. If the apps aren't on your computer's iTunes then try downloading them from the store (re-downloading) and then try restoring to your last backup by right-clicking the iPad 'device' in iTunes.

A divert is a function that allows you to either forward calls to another phone, or directly to answer phone. I'm not 100% if those functions are available for AT&T (I'm from the UK).
Can the iPhone 3GS play music fine? Can the volume be adjusted during playback, and is it loud and clear?
It's also worth checking to see if the "ringtone" hasn't been changed.
Settings > Sounds > Ringtones
Select a different ringtone and it should give you a sample. Try that and see if the phone rings when you get a call.
Are you close to a local Apple store? It's worth getting some 1-to-1 time with one of their Geniuses. -
Hi, I want to do a clean re-installation of my end 2011 Macbook Pro which comes with pre-installed Lion OS. I go through the installation steps and after App Store verified my Apple ID, it prompted me that I did not purchase the Lion OS. I am very surprise to see this message which my pre-installed Lion Macbook Pro should have it. Please help and advise how can I get the OS? All other bundle softwares were in the purchase record except the Lion OS.
That was my mistake - sorry - it IS Command-R to boot to the Recovery disk, not Command-D: I either just hit the wrong key or am just now coming awake from my nap.
Let me see if I can just explain it in a few steps - I don't know of any link (but it would make a good User Tip):
Create an up-to-the minute back-up of your internal hard drive using an external hard drive and Time Machine.
Boot to your recovery partion - holding down Command-R on boot.
Use Disk Utility to erase Macintosh HD - use one GUID partition and format as "Mac OS Extended (Journaled)". Unless you're selling the machine, there's no need to do a secure erase (which can take hours).
After you erase the disk, re-install Lion from the same Recovery partition.
After installation is complete, reboot, again holding down the Command-R keys to boot into the Recovery Partition.
Restore your Time Machine back-up. This could take several hours.
Reboot after restore and you're back in business.
That should take care of everything - all you need is an Internet connection.
Call back if I didn't explain things too well - at least I got the Command-R right this time!

I have set up several EVENTs for my photos in iPhoto. Now when I click on an Event, I want to arrange the pictures within this event , when I click on the picture I want to move, it does not move, it stays in place. ( yellow fram around the picture does appear ) I clicked on the VIEW tab, selected " sort EVENTS" than I slide over to manually and the word appears in grey rather than black . Therefore I am unable to move the picture to the place I want it to be within that same event. Please be kind and Help, thank you, manfred from jupiter

My version of iPhoto is : " iPhoto 08 " , version 7.1.5 ( 378 )
I set up an " Album " as you suggested and this procedure works, I am able in this new Album to change the pictures around as I want it to be.
However in checking back at the same " Event" Album / Gallery the pictures still remain the old way and do not show the changes I made in the new Album version.
I guess that's the way it will be. Take it or leave it..... or do you have another suggestion ???? Thank you for looking into my problem. Please let me know. Thank you again manfred from jupiter -

Do the files you're trying to open have this extension: .dvdproj ? How are you attempting to open them?
