Try the steps in the first article below and see if that resolves your data issue. However, with some carriers settings need to be manually entered in order to access their cellular data network. The second article will walk you through that process.

You seem to be asking two different questions. You get an iCloud email account by going to Settings>iCloud on your iPod Touch, signing in with your Apple ID to create your iCloud account, then turning Mail to On.
If the songs you are talking about were purchased from the iTunes store using someone else's Apple ID and your computer is not authorized for this ID, they will be removed from your iPod when you sync. They can only be synced back from the iTunes library that is authorized for the ID they were purchased with.

You need to setup your own user account on the computer to keep independent iCloud accounts, contacts & calendars. Then sign in to your iCloud account in your user account.

Ok. I have 2 hard drives and one of them died apparently so..not knowing what to do, I did chose reinstall Lion after command r open start-up. The whole thing is a mess but my computer is back up and running with the second hard drive. I had a time machine backup which I've been dragging stuff out of. i had to re enter serial numbers and do all sorts of initial set up stuff. 1) How do I get all of my icons (like my HD icon and external drives icons) to appear on my desktop again? iWeb can't open or import previously published pages or files.
You need the domain.sites2 file from that User Application Support folder.

I have OS10.5 and an iPhone5 how do I get my apps, photos and music?

I have an Intel iMac core duo with OS10.5.8 with iTunes 10.6.1. I have a 3GS which I recently upgraded to an iPhone5. I sync my 3GS and headed to the store to pick up my new phone. The AT&T guy hands me instructions which says I need to update my 3GS (iOS5) device before syncing the new iPhone5 (iOS6). iTunes would not let me update beyond 10.6.1. Apple, true to its word, I rec'd iOS update on Sep. 21st. So I turned on wifi and update my 3GS to iOS6. OK now my itunes does not recognize either phone because they are both iOS6. I never thought for a moment iTunes would not recognize my devices. Now I'm perplexed. I'm worried the answer is going to cost me more money.
I do have a wintel XP at my disposal which just downloaded iTunes7 onto, but of course, I have no previous backup stored. I can't figure out how to get my apps, photos and music onto my new iPhone. so, when I try to restore, it displays message that if I want to do this it will erase everything on my 3GS. Funny how itunes 7 is compatible with XP but not Leopard, but that is another discussion.

Upgrade iTunes on the Mac and the OS if required so that you have the correct version for syncing with iOS6.
Alternatively, you can copy the ENTIRE iTunes folder from the Mac to the PC and then you should be able to sync to the PC without issues.
You'll still need to create a backup on the PC to restore back to the iPhone5.
You can also try backing up the 3GS to iCloud and restoring the iPhone5 from that backup, but that will not restore or sync any media.

You will have to go on the web page of your respective email account via a computer. EX : Gmail if so..
Once you logged in your account you want to go to settings. What you want to find is the option to select between IMAP or POP email settings.
IMAP is what you want. Select IMAP to every email clients you have. OUTLOOK , HOTMAIL, YAHOO ...etc.
IMAP is the way to go when it comes to using web email via multiple devices

I think you updated to Leopard/10.5.x, Snow Leopard/10.6 is Intel only.
Actually you're in luck, you can still use iCloud for eMail on PPC using 10.4.11 or 10.5.8, but it must be IMAP, not POP...

IMAP (Incoming Mail Server) information:
Server name: imap.mail.me.com
SSL Required: Yes
Port: 993
Username: [email protected] (use your @me.com address from your iCloud account)
Password: Your iCloud password
SMTP (outgoing mail server) information:

One secret I think is when setting it up don't choose the .me/.mac type, it'll auto fill in .mac as the server which won't work, go back afterwards & change the servers.

You got the new iphone????? I have same problem. I transferred audiobooks to device to find no audiobooks on device (despite it being in iTunes as if it was). Have you found a solution????? I even tried to change import settings on format transfer but hasn't worked.

You'd have to check the app description. We have no way of knowing what apps you have on your device. And I doubt any of us her know all the apps and what they do. However, I don't know of any apps that would use up your minutes or text limits.
