Hello, could someone help me figure out what I did wrong? I am not receiving e-mail nor I am able to compose them... the app just freezes when I tap it and if I go to my settings once i tap the e-mail,contacts, calendars row it freezes for a while then it kicks me out to the main screen...
Sounds like something is wrong in your settings,
Either delete the account from your phone and set it up again or use the G-Mail website help to find the correct settings and manualy check and adjust your phones outgoing settings to match

I already tried those without working. I have deleted the account from my phone and set it up again. Also, I used the G-Mail website Help to find the correct settings and manualy check and adjust my phone's outgoing settings to match. It is not sending the outgoing e-mail messages. I keep getting this notice: Connecting to mailbox. After a while it stops without sending the e-mail message.
It wasn't like that before the hard reset.

When I got my new iPhone and was trying to switch everything over I accidentally set up a new icloud account with one email and had one on my old iphone with another account. Does anyone know how I can merge the two accounts?
You cannot merge Apple IDs but you can go to Settings > iCloud and 'Delete Account'. When prompted to turn off documents and data, choose the only option which is Delete from my iPhone, but on the other prompt for Contacts, Calendars, etc you can choose 'Keep on my iPhone' Then once the Account is Deleted form the iPhone, log back in with the correct Apple ID and choose Merge when prompted. This will merge your data from this iPhone with that iCloud account effectively putting your devices on the same account.

How do I set up a new iCloud account
I changed my Apple ID because I have changed my IP and my previous address is no longer active. Thanks to some kind people on here I've resolved problems with apps etc but now have a problem with iCloud. It keeps asking for my previous log in details but then doesn't recognise them. From what I've read I need to set up a new iCloud account but can't find any info on how to do it. I can only find info on initial set up on new devices. Can anyone help? I ought to point out that I'm 60 with only average IT skills and I don't find Apple products intuitive no matter what the say!

I setup my iCloud account on my iPhone 5 with the wrong e mail address, and I don't remmber the password, I reset my tel and erase all the information on my iPhone in order to try to set up a new iCloud account but when I restart I have a problem agaIn , they ask me to put again the old iCloud user account and password, what I can do in order to start the phone when I don't have the correct e mail and I don't remmber the passcode.?
I have the same problem as the emails go to my iCloud account that I cannot access!!! I cannot answer the security questions as someone else must have set up my iCloud account. Nothing seems to work. It would be great if someone has some ideas as what can be done to recover the situation?

I have gotten divorced and really need to change my email address which is linked to icloud and has all my diary/itune/ibook purchases linked to it. I understand i CANNOT change my email so this forces me to have to create a new icloud account. How do i do this and can i set up the new icloud account to inherit my former accounts purchases?
Go to www.icloud.com, go to the mail module, acess the settings (small gear wheel, on the right), choose Preferences>Accounts and create an alias in the lefthand panel.

I have inherited an ICloud account from one of my employers when transferring from old MacBook Pro (which belonged to them) to new MacMini and need to separate from this, presumably by setting up a new ICloud account. How do I do this ? And is there any danger, in doing so, that I might delete any of her ICloud information ?
Sign out in System Preferences>iCloud. This will remove any synced data such as Calendars, emails and Contacts from your Mac, but will have no effect on the data on the server - so that other devices logged into it will continue to see the data.

If you've just created a new Apple ID, that email address can be used for your iCloud account. All you have to do is sign out of your wife's iCloud account, and sign in with your new Apple ID and password.

Before you delete your wife's iCloud account from your iPhone, turn off each of the features ( contacts, calendars, etc. ) and when prompted, choose to "Keep on My iPhone" if you wish to keep that information. If don't want or need any of this, then skip down to the selection below to delete the iCloud account completely.
Turn iCloud features off
On your iOS device’s Home screen, go to Settings > iCloud, then tap to turn off iCloud features.
When you turn off a feature, you’re asked whether you want your device to keep a copy of your information stored in iCloud for that feature.
Once you have saved the contacts, calendars, etc. that you want from the current iCloud account on your iPhone, then you can delete the current iCloud account from your device.
Turn off iCloud completely
On your iOS device’s Home screen, go to Settings > iCloud, then at the bottom of the screen, tap Delete Account.
At this point, I would suggest turning off the phone, and restarting it. Then, tap on Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars. Tap on Add Account. Tap iCloud. Now type in your new Apple ID email address and password.

I have an old iCloud account for my iphone and when I bought an ipad last year I used the same iCloud account. I now have no storage left and my iphone won't back up. I want to upgrade my iphone soon but don't want to lose all my photos, contacts, etc.
I have spent the last hour trying to create a new iCloud account so I have two separate ones for my iphone and iCloud, to no avail. Apple don't seem to have any information I submit and I am just going round in circles updating passwords! And re-enters new account details. I haven't received an email registering my new iCloud account.
Can anyone help! Can I create two iCloud accounts? Why can't i! Even though I am using two separate email addresses.If it's stuck on verifying it's because she never responded to the verification email that Apple should have sent to the primary email address she used for the Apple ID she set it up with. She should check her inbox and spam/junk folder for this email and click on the Verify Now link to verify the account. If the email isn't there, she can go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage your Apple ID, sign in, click on Name, ID and Email addresses on the left, then to the right click Resend under her Primary Email Address to resend the verification email.
Or, you can just delete the account (which is a misnomer since until verified the account isn't really created). -

If you are successfully getting email and syncing contacts, etc. using icloud, then your account is working. Have you set up photo stream on all your devices/macs? On device, settings>icloud. On mac, System Preferences>iCloud.
I think you have to turn it on in iphoto as well.
Once turned on, only new photos on an iphone/iPad are added to Photo Stream, not existing ones. -
I have changed isp and no longer have access to rescue email addresses and have lost my details. I have set up a new apple id and want to set up icloud with this but cant get past the icloud preferences pane with the old address. How do I get around this?
Settings>icloud, scroll to bottom of screen and tap Delete Account (this disconnects the device from icloud but doesn't delete any data on icloud or on other devices).
If you then want to sign back in using a different ID, do so on the same screen. -
The iCloud message always pops up, however, it's conncected to our old Apple ID account which we no longer have the password for. Is there a way to delete that account and make a new one without the old password?
If the old ID is yours, and if your new ID was created by editing the details of this old ID (rather than being an entirely new ID), go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iDevice, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll. When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.
If the old ID isn't yours, or if the new ID is an entirely new ID, you'll have to reset the password for the old ID if you can't remember it: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5787. (Your iCloud ID is also an Apple ID.) -

Will changing Apple ID give me a new icloud account but save my apps and photos?
