Use Disk Utility whihc is in the Utilities Folder.
Select your Boot Disk on the left.
Select Verify Permissions
If any errors the do Reapir permissions.
You might have to repeat the process.

Finally got through to tech support and found someone who seemed to know what was going on, he walked me through and using appleid.applesupport got me to a point where i could get a new password for the apple id that kept showing up.

It is an eMac. I have a corrupted font book. How can I fix/re-install/or download a new font book app? Most fonts that were in it work, some do not, but I cannot open it nor can I install fonts into it. This happened after the eMac OS was upgraded from 10.3.9 to 10.4.11 and AI was upgraded to CS2

Model and actual device you are talking about?
Apple covers a pretty huge range.. If you mean extreme.. did you reset it to factory and start over.. that is always necessary when you change a network. You cannot pick up a router from one home and network and plonk it into another and have it work.. aint gonna happen.
You also need to power down any pure cable modem for 20min or so to get it to forget the old MAC address that captured the IP so the Apple ??? has a chance to work.

You need to connect to iTunes on a computer to update. Direct updates were enabled with IOS 5. I hope you were maintaining a backup of your computer. If you attempt to sync with a new one without transferring content first then all will be erased.
You also need to update the Apple tv to version 5.0.2 (4.4 being the minimum for mirroring support)

make sure you're following the steps exactly (unplug all cables, connect micro USB, if using a 3rd gen reconnect power). Connect directly to computer. Try a different cable

The screen freezes when I hit the red stop button. But that's it. I have to hit the home button to get out of that. And none of the v-recordings can be found on my phone anywhere.
Also I'm having trouble with Bluetooth. My Mac says it's paired with the phone, but the phone says not; even though It accepts the pairing code from the Mac. I'm getting very frustrated with these problems. I came on here to find the user manuel, but can only find the fingertip manuel and the product license manuel. Both of which I have in hard copy.
And the most annoying thing is the sound on the calls. I can hardly hear the caller.
Anyone got any helpful advice?

Sync media using iTunes, not Bluetooth.
When the screen freezes on the iPhone, try "resetting".
Hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home button down at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

From iCloud Control Panel 2.1.1 for Windows
"iCloud Control Panel 2.1 and later includes support for Windows 8"
but you still need to set it up on a Mac or iOS device, "Note: To create an iCloud account you need an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with iOS 5 or later, or a Mac with OS X Lion v10.7.5 or later."
