HT4847 how do I find the date that my mac membership needs refreshing?

The settings 'seem' to have changed or moved or maybe it is my fading memory? I know that I will be sent and email in due course but I wish to find out now. It used to be as simple as clicking on your account and signing in.

Which "mac membership" are you talking about?  iTunes, iCloud, iTunes Match, MobileMe (deceased), this forum?

  • How can I find the date modified and group membership in contacts?

I used to have a smart group that could show the modification date, but those criteria don't exist in mountain lion (ML)
i also had a script that would find any contact that was not a member of any group. It does not work any more in ML.

    still can't figure it out

  • How do I see the dates that the pictures were taken?*

How do I find the dates that each picture was taken? It would be like right clicking and seeing when the picture was taken or saved. I can't find this info anywhere.

    Hi catswalk,
iPhoto is the photo app on a Mac. If you have Windows, it would be under My Photos, or Pictures - not sure exactly. But basically, the picture information is only available on a computer as a direct part of the photos. You should be syncing your iPhone to iTunes on a computer so that you can back up all of your stuff. If you have iCloud, that backs up some things, but not your entire photo library - only your Photo Stream and Camera Roll from your iPhone.
So, really, it depends on what type of computer you are syncing with.....
However, there is an App in the App Store called Photo Investigator. It is free, but the free version comes with ads. For .99 cents, you can remove the ads. Once it is installed, you can select any photo on your phone, and it will give you not only date and time, but a lot of other info that you may or may not care about.
There probably are other apps available to do what you are looking for as well....
    Hope this helps!
    Cheers,
    GB

  • How do I find the date and time stamp on pictures?

How do I find the date and time stamp for my pictures?

The Photos app will not do this but other apps will. iPhoto has an icon that when tapped with the photo open will show the EXIF information you are looking for. iPhoto is not free but you can purchase it in the App Store.
There may be other photo apps that provide this information as well.
PhotoForge2 will show the EXIF data as well as the GPS data if it is available.

I HAVE OLD iPHONES BACKED UP.  how do i find the data and recover or delete dups and junk

You can't see the data inside the backup, and you can't restore just part of the data if that's what you're asking. To see the data you have to restore the entire backup.

Not very helpful. Micron / Crucial makes maybe 2000 RAM types. If all you have is the RAM and the label you may be thin on luck.

  • How do I find the date of download?

I am trying to find the date that an app was downloaded.  I have all the apps my kids (teenagers so parental controls are not the avenue I am looking for) download automatically download to my devices so I can keep track of what they are doing and I want to see the date one of the apps was downloaded.  I'd also love to be able to see which device downloaded which app.  Any chance of that?

If I log into my account via the Store > View Account menu option on my computer's iTunes and then click on the 'See All >' link to the right of the Purchase History line, I then get a screen with my most recent purchase at the top of the screen, and below that a list of older purchases including their order date, order number, items in the order and the total price
    e.g.
Clicking on the little arrow to the left of the line will expand it. Do you not get that screen ?

  • I erase my  iTunes library that was on an external hd by accident, how can i restore the data that i lost?

I erase my  iTunes library that was on an external hd by accident, how can i recover the data that i lost?

It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy.  Use your backup copy to put everything back.
If for some reason you have failed to maintain a backup, not good, then  you can redownload some itunes purchases in some countries:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store

  • How do I find the date

I've never done this before.  Can anybody see my question (that I typed before being taken to several different screens for various passwords & othe BS)?  I'm trying to find out how I can see the date & time a photo was taken on my iPhoto.  Can't find it anywhere in my phone.  The date stamp I've managed to find in iMovie when I try to "adjust time & date" is clearly WRONG (unless every photo I've taken has been at 2:22 am)--don't get how a phone with GPS can't get a correct time stamp.  Tried looking in my iPhone calendar, but all my entries prior to this month appear to DELETE automatically--another awesome feature.

Select the photo and type Command + i to open the Info trat at the right.  The capture date of the photo willl be listed near the top under the file name.

    Hi there,
I recently installed Firefox Sync/Home and I sucessfully synced my tabs/history etc onto my iPhone (still there now).

  • How can I export the data that consultant have configured?

I have installed the same systems at two server machine. The consultant have configured something in one server and the developers have developed some projects at the same server, after that, I want to export the data that the consultants configured without the developed projects and import it to another server. How?

Certain objects can be put into an application designer project, and then exported to file or migrated to another environment. Examples include process scheduler server definitions, integration broken setup, security, and trees. Basically anything you can add through application designer using the Insert > Definitions into Project list. This is the better way but doesn't work for everything.
Do you know specifically what was configured and what you need to export? There's a DMS script that lives under PS_HOME/script called mvprdexp.dms that lists the core PeopleTools tables, which might be useful if you do have write your own DMS.

  • Can I find the date that I installed Yosemite somehow?

I installed Yosemite a few weeks ago and since then, I have had problems with Safari and other browsers: when I try to look at my blog, the images don't appear: instead, I get the blue question marks.  The problem is limited to my MacBook, as I can see them on my iPad.  I also have problems viewing Facebook on Safari (but not Firefox): Safari has problems with the security certificate.  I tried to reinstall Yosemite, but the problem remains.  Thus, I want to go back to Maverick until Apple gets the bugs out.
My plan is to restore my system from Time Machine, but don't remember how far back I have to go.  Will any of the system files show me the date that I installed Yosemite?

Hold down the option key and select
               ▹ System Information...
from the menu bar. In the window that opens, select
              Software ▹ Installations
from the list on the left. Look for "OS X" in the list on the right.
