HT4847 I don't want icloud I prefer dropbox.  how do I get rid of it?

How do I get rid of ICloud?  I don't know where the items are kept and how to clear them from back up.  I prefer Dropbox. It was easier - so I can I change back?

iCloud and dropbox are entirely different things, however if you still wish to stop using iCloud, just delete your account  at settings> iCloud
