HT4847 I purchased extra space for icloud, but it is not changing!

I am trying to back up pics and vids from my iPad 2 to my computer (PC) via iCloud.  I purchased an extra 10GB, but it didn't show up! I then did it again (will probably get charged 40.00 now!) and it STILL didn't change!  Only 69 pics are showing up in my photo stream, which I am sure must be because they didn't upgrade my storage space!  Who do I contact about this? 

ICloud storage is for backups or documents.
It is online storage.
It can not be used as local storage, it will not increase the amount of data you can put on the ipad.

  • Two apple ID on one iphone. I need to purchase extra storage for one but it doesn't give me a place to do it.

    im really frustrated.  everything not just this happening to me right now.  I'll try to be as clear as I can be here.  I can't get email or send email with one of two apple I.D.'s connected to my iphone.  The other I.D. I paid for extra storage.  The I.D. that needs more storage is my main email address and my lifeline.  Job offers come to that address, my banking and home security alerts, etc all happen through this one email account.  I can't even get that ID to show on my phone to choose it.
    How can I change things to show me both ID's so I can add storage to the correct one?

  • Plenty of space for Download, but it will not complete.

    The loading dialog box remains open with the bar going madly from left to right. Load never finishes. Had same problem yesterday. Finally gave up. Trying again today with same result. I have 9 GB of space available so that's not the issue.

    Close your iTunes,
    Go to command Prompt -
    (Win 7/Vista) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES, right mouse click "Command Prompt", choose "Run as Administrator".
    (Win XP SP2 & above) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES/Command Prompt
    In the "Command Prompt" screen, type in
    netsh winsock reset
    Hit "ENTER" key
    Restart your computer.
    If you do get a prompt after restart windows to remap LSP, just click NO.
    Now launch your iTunes and see if it is working now.
    If you are still having these type of problems after trying the winsock reset, refer to this article to identify which software in your system is inserting LSP:

    Having read some other posts I think I have answered my question. If I was somehow able to terminate my old (unwanted) account and Apple ID I would no longer be able to access the material I bought with that ID-  so I'm stuck. I have to learn how to manage that situation.
    This is unfortunate for Apple consumers. Life is complicated for families these days and this "rule" although it is in place to prevent cheating and fraud makes things unnnecessarily difficult for me and my family as in my niaevity (sic) with the online world I bumbled into this situation. Not everyone is out to rip off Apple - one of the worlds richest corporations- or the entertainers who market their work through iTunes.I would just like to be able to enjoy the entertainment I pay for where and when I like to on whichever computer is available to me. And I'm not terribly computer literate.   
    It would have been nice to have had the opportunity to speak just once to a real person in the employ of Apple to explain my situation to them.

    we are trying to sync apps, music etc. to my IPod touch but it is saying there is not enough room to upload the apps etc. from our ITunes library on my PC.  Are we able to purchase more space for example on ICLOUD for more storage or do we need to delete some of the items so there is enough room for the things we really want. 
    Also, if we do need to delete some of the stuff now on IPod touch, how do I find out how much space is used up by each item so we can delete necessary items to make enough space?

    You need to delete some items from the iPod. After you install the app you can redownload then as storage space allows, by:
    Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
    To download and install an app you need storage available equal to about three times the file download size.

    I had this same problem on my 4S. I fixed it by restoring the phone to factory defaults. Previously, I had taken the additional step of restoring from backup but, as soon as I did, the problem returned. The fix is a hassle as I now have to reinstall my apps but at least I can manage mail on the phone.
    The problem also occurred on my iPad2 but I'm not restoring it as it's a serious hassle (see above) and I don't actually read much mail on the device.
    As a side note, I noticed incredibly high load averages (5+ processes for 1, 5, and 15 minutes; 12+ for 1 and 5 minutes at one point) as well as CPU usage that didn't drop below 15% (apparently all user processes, system seemed to be about normal). As could be expected, this also lead to incredibly rapid battery depletion.
    I can't tell what processes were hogging the CPU as neither of my devices are jailbroken and Apple doesn't seem to like 'top' much.

    iCloud doesn't store documents from your Mac (or scanner).  It will only sync documents and data from applications designed for iCloud syncing, such as Pages, Keynote, Numbers, etc.

    Your gmail address is still your apple id. Just when you activate your mail and notes, it asks you to create icloud e-mail, which is completely separate and allows you to have one more e-mail address. Just some extra benefit, you don't have to pay for, but useful to save your notes and send e-mail or two if Google server goes down.

    Certain services such as your iCloud email, iCloud backup and document and data syncing are suspended until you purchase enough storage.

    If you intend to keep using iCloud on your iPad, your best course of action would be to update your Apple ID/iCloud information so that you have a known password and it is associated with an active email address. You may find the following articles helpful:

    Correct. That is only a feature of iOS 5 or later...
