In preparing for iCloud storage to be reduced to 5GB, I have deleted all my emails (via internet to iCloud) including all inboxes, sent mail, archived etc. HOWEVER my iPhone (under Settings>iCloud>Storage and Backup>Manage Storage says I have 8.5 GB. Please help!
The only thing I can think of that may cause this would be storage buffering. See http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4873.

You seem to be new to this software, so I highly recommend that you take some time to learn it using some great tutorials available online - it will pay off to invest the time, if you follow through, for example the great (and free) introductory tutorial at izzyvideo.com.

iCloud wrote that my storage was full and that I couldn't save anymore mail. I checked and it is not true at all, but it had already DELETED all my sent messages without further notice. Where are they? Can I retrieve them?
iCloud does not delete your mail when full, you have some other problem.

I'm unable to send and receive email through Apple Mail 4. I've checked my settings on Preferences, and my password to Gmail is up to date for syncing with IMAP, but it still won't connect. Suggestions?
I think it's trying to open it in a gMail eMail & is losing your gMail password that it needs log into gMail, but not 100% positive.
Have you tried Right clicking or Control+click on the eMail link & choose Copy? Works on some, not others. -
So I deleted all my apps pictures music etc. and it's saying I have 1.4 GB available where is that space coming from ? Please help
Check your Videos and your text messages - if there are any pics or videos in text messages, they can take up a lot of space.

on a iphone4, under settings, messages, send and receive, there are multiple phone numbers listed. How do I remove them? they are constantly checked even when i uncheck them. this is causing copies of my text messages to go to those phones.
Are you using the same AppleID for all those phones? If so, get them all their own AppleID.

How do you know that the owner lives outside your country?
You are wasting your time here as whomever lost the phone will most likely not look here as this is not a lost and found. If the phone is unlocked (doubtful) try calling some of the contacts on the phone so maybe they can reach the owner. In anycase turn it over to the police. They are probably better than you at trying to locate the owner. -

I have deleted all my e-mail messages on my phone, from incoming and my trash folder. When i go to my usage in settings, it still says i am using 6.9 GB of space in mail and attachments. How to i clear this up. I am using a pop3 mail
What operating system does your iMac have? (please always post your operating system to prevent confustion).

All sorted! dont suppose you know how to fix another problem I have??? for weeks now, since updating to ios5 I think, for some reason every time I have tried to log onto app store it says CANNOT CONNECT TO ITUNES STORE. It's nothing to do with my computer, and I've been to the Geniius bar but they couldnt help and nothing I seem to do lets me update my Apps and even worse, I cant even buy any more. Any suggestions?

I have changed my Iphone once last year. My iphone has being playing up for the best part of 6 months. It Keeps deleting all my music of the phone. it freezes and will not allow me to turn it on or off. if i am in the middle of an app it will randomly shut it down and turn the phone off totally (even if it is charged.) It will not charge properly, it has to be in a exact position to charge and even then go's off and on. I thought this my be my charger but the charger works fine on another phone. it will not allow texts to come through properly and sometimes will not not let me ring people it just freezes and i have to turn it off and on a couple of times in order for it to work. it will not let me update apps and the silent button is not silent it still go's of on ringer.The keyboard will freeze up not allowing me to type anything. It wants me to pay £126.44 for it to be repaire when i have nothing to do with why its not working!

I upgraded 4s to IOS 7.0.2 and lost all inboxes in MAIL. After reading email and exit to MAILBOXES, I can only select from: VIP, Flagged, Unread, To/ CC, Attachments, Sent, Trash. Not even "ALL INBOXES" is an option via Edit. How do I get my INBOX options?
Followingothers advice on similar issues, I deleted account (in Setting - Mail...) and then added it back. The Inbox was there, but ni Trash or Sent box. The Trash and Sent maiboxes presented themselves after I deleted an email, and sent an email.

can anyone help me please. i stupidly deleted icloud as i thought that was what was giving me problems with phone. didnt realise it would delete all my contacts as well. i then, again stupidly I think, synced my phone backing up the phone to the computer and probably overriding the cotnacts that were on my computer? Anyway, can anyone tell me how you back up from the computer BACK TO THE PHONE to see if I can get my contacts back? ICloud password and backup problem

Repeatedly asking for iCloud password. No pattern, just constantly.
I can verify the password by logging into iCloud itself, so I know the password is valid.
Also unable to run a backup.
If I sign out of iCloud (like it has been suggested elsewhere in this support group), delete at all prompts and sign back in -- that only means it deletes what is on the iPad itself, and iCloud will repopulate with all the deleted info (like photos) once I sign back in -- correct? Hitting delete is sort of scary, right?Okay. signed out of iCloud. fixed the constant request for password, but now back up doesn't work because I suddenly need more room. It was fine 2 days ago before this all started and I haven't added anything to make it too large. What the heck?

If you're able to contact the person who set the lock, send them this link and tell them to follow its instructions.
If not, you can't activate the device but may be able to get it refunded. Apple won't remove the lock for anyone other than the original owner(assuming they're alive.)

Please help me! -5000 error code when DVD player is launched.
