HT4847 lost mailboxes on iCloud
I have lost mailboxes on my iCloud account. I only have left the ones starting with P to Z. Any chance to get the A to P back ?
You aren't addressing Apple here, this is a user to user forum. If you want to delete the contacts in your iCloud account, go to icloud.com on your computer, log into your iCloud account and open Contacts, click on the red ribbon at the top to display your groups, click on All Contacts, to the right click on any single contact to select it,click on the Actions (gear shaped) icon at the bottom and choose Select All, then press the Delete key on your keyboard.
Do not do this while you still have Contacts set to On in Settings>iCloud on your phone. If you do, it will delete the contacts on your phone too. If you want to save the contacts on your phone, be sure to go to Settings>iCloud, turn Contacts to Off, and choose Keep on My iPhone. You can then delete the contacts in your iCloud account without losing them from your phone.

It might be that you selected "Delete sent mail after a mont (or a week, or whatever)" in Mail Preferences. iCloud account is IMAP, so it won't keep mail in your HD. I have that problem.

I have entered my gmail id as my apple id, and created another icloud id. Now my mailbox shows No mail. Is this mailbox shows icloud mailbox or my gmail mailbox? How do i open my gmail mailbox in my iphone? or simply will have to download a gmail app?

In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your iOS device, you need to delete the account from your iOS device first, then add it back using your updated details. (Settings > iCloud, scroll down and hit "Delete Account") -

Unfortunately, you cannot view them and I would not recommend to only store your photos via iCloud, because iCloud will only do a backup of your device including the photos that you have currently stored in your Camera Roll. I would recommend to store them (manually or via Photo Stream) on Mac/PC or with another cloud storage service like Dropbox.

I've gone through the migration process fairly smoothly except for the loss of access to my mailboxes/folders for what was my mobileme account and that is now my iCloud one. The folders are all intact and accessible via iCloud.com, but I would really like to have them again in Mac Mail. Thanks.

Has anyone found their lost Iphone with Icloud succefully?
I recently had my Iphone stolen and my Icloud picked it up for a breif moment in front of someones house. I am from Illinois and it was stolen in Wisc. I had a friend go the house but it was a little old lady. Im pretty sure she did not live alone but my friend did felt a little uncomfortable even going to the door for me. When I continue to go on to Icloud it says my phone is offline but as of today I have been able to call it and it rings until my voicemail picks up. Before it would go to voicemail. Am I correct that there is a chance the sim card is still intact? I did put a lock on the phone so they are not able to access the phone except if they call the number provided by the "This phone is Lost" app I was able to us from Icloud. I am just looking for a little bit of hope that the phone could still be retrieved or brought online somehow before I completely give up home and have it erased. Any success stories or advice anyone has. I did call the police and have yet to get intouch with an officer to file a report but did get feed back that they could not go to the house without a warrent.
