Drag up the default bar or individual objects.

On your iPhone, go to Settings>iCloud>Storage & Backup>Manage Storage. There you should be able to see how much of your used storage is allocated to different things (ex., iphone backup, ipad backup, mail). From there you should be able to figure out what is going on.

Whoa, it sounds like you're confusing two very different things.
iCloud initially comes allowing 5GB of free storage (for backups, etc.).
Your iPad (or are you talking about an iPhone in the wrong forum?) comes with some number of tens of gigabytes of storage, which cannot be added to.
So something doesn't make sense in your comment. -
Storage shows 12.7GB available but clicking on it shows 0GB
In settings->icloud->storage it shows 12.7GB which is correct. But when I go into storage, I see
only 731MB available and total storage at zero! It's correct on my iphone 6 and ipad air but not on my ipad 3.
Thanksi have the exact same problem on my iPhone 5c and iPad 2 which have both been updated to 8.3 and they are also now no longer backing up to the cloud. My kids devices which are on my account have not been updated and are all fine. After the update though we lost all the notes which were supposibly stored in the cloud. I have phoned appple care and the person had no idea. I then went to an Apple Store they could not help at all and told me to ring apple care which I am doing tomorrow.

Travelling with access to no external drive - show what's available now
Ok this is kinda like another unanswered post I have.
If I am travelling with my MB and want to listen to my music in itunes it still shows my entire library which is 80% not available because its on an external drive at home.

I did get a USB 3 hub. (Amazon link. There is a 7-port hub as well.) Highly recommended (at least for rMBP users). This works well with how I use Aperture: I have several external drives with mostly Referenced Originals and some Libraries. Since I rarely use more than one of these at a time, it doesn't matter that the hub throughput is limited to a single USB 3 channel. The USB 3 hub, for me, functions as a quasi-data-server for Aperture, and takes up only one of the two USB 3 ports on the rMBP. (Fwiw, with the rMBA I don't think there's much reason for storing Referenced Originals on a fast drive; because of the efficiency of the way Aperture caches, USB 2 may be fast enough. I haven't measured this yet.)
I mentioned eSATA only because almost all my external drives came with eSATA ports and cables. I have never used eSATA. At this point, I don't plan to.
I have moved a few drives into USB 3 enclosures (purchased from OWC). With the USB 3 hub, and the newly-available Apple TBolt-FW800 adapter (which supports daisy-chained FW devices), I am no longer in any practical way limited by the four ports on the rMBP (2x TBolt, 2x USB 3). Whew.
I backup my system drive wirelessly to a Time Capsule every night (by design, the machine doesn't have access to the TC during the day when I'm working), and use SuperDuper to backup all Libraries and Referenced Originals to specific sparse bundles kept on leap-frogging external drives, with one always off-site. At this point I make no practical distinction between FW800 and USB 3 drives for back-up, as they are all fast enough and the back-ups run unattended. (But USB 3 seems to be much faster.) -
All of my music is gone. I have no idea how to get it back and Im worried because it isnt showing up on available downloads.
Isn't iTunes 10.5 r 9 a beta release for developers? If that's the case then isn't there a special web site for developers to discuss issues (and they are not supposed to discuss them on the public forum)? If you're not a developer and have this through unofficial channels then I'm not sure you can expect full functionality.

My iPHone tells me I don't have enough iCLoud storage. When I manage my storage from Settings it shows 1 backup for my primary phone and it's 5GB. I understand that is what Apple provides for free and I could upgrade but I don't want to upgrade. I have transferred most all my photos to the computer and I have no music on my device. And this was several weeks ago and I have attempted to backup since hoping it would create a new backup but no good.
I have even went in the backup and turned off Camera Roll since it's the largest but still no good.
If you have any suggestions other than upgrade your storage plan please help.

I have an iPhone 4. My other half has one too. They were purchased and activated on the same day by her at the verison store. She does not have an iCloud account but I do. When I go to iCooud settings in my phone and then click on Backup and Storage it shows her as being the owner and I want to change that. Someone told me it was easy in phone settings without having to connect to iTunes. I have looked around in settings but don't know how to do it. Can someone tell me how to do that plz?
I have laready set up my iCloud account and verified it.
So the problem is this:
I go to settings > iCloud > Storage and Backup. There it says that MY phone belongs to my wife. I had been told that it is easy to change that specific thing to show that it is my iPhone. That is where I am having the issue.
With that being said, I try to do a backup to iCloud and it doesn't go through due to that. -
I just bought a Mac Book Pro and the Appstore show one upgrade of iPhoto (9.2.1). I started a section with my Apple ID (the account that I have I use to iTunes) but when I try to update it says that there are upgrades available for other accounts and that I have to upgrade using the account that I used to buy iPhoto. What do I have to do to upgrade iPhoto?

For years I have been using [email protected] for business.
It is on my business cards, stationary and most of my closest correspondences are maintained off of that email.
The documentation I've read indicates aliases should be transferred over as part of this iCloud migration but this does not seem to be the case. My account now shows 3of3 aliases available but I'm still able to receive messages addressed to the alias. I can no longer send emails from this alias.
How do I get this corrected?
