My phone was not backed up on icloud due to excess storage size for one month. Recently i lost some contacts by accident. and it was backed up on icloud again this morning .so I would like to reinstall from last month back up to get all contacts back. but when i connected to computer, I only have a choice to reinstall from last 5 months ago which was backed up on my computer manually. So, please help me how to choose to reinstall icloud back up from specific date from last month (eg. 02.02.2013). Thank you very much.
You cannot selectively restore from iCloud. You can only do a full device restore by resetting the device and choosing to restore from the iCloud backup during the setup process.

DimitrisIt would appear that your system is somewhat mangled, and it is time for some general 'servicing'.
Start here:
Repairing permissions is important, and should always be carried out both before and after any software installation or update.
Go to Disk Utility (this is in your Utilities Folder in your Application folder) and click on the icon of your hard disk (not the one with all the numbers).
In First Aid, click on Repair Permissions.
This only takes a minute or two in Tiger, but much longer in Leopard.

If you were having any serious problems with your Mac you might as well complete the exercise by repairing your hard disk as well. You cannot do this from the same start-up disk. Reboot from your install disk (holding down the C key). Once it opens, select your language, and then go to Disk Utility from the Utilities menu. Select your hard disk as before and click Repair.
Once that is complete reboot again from your usual start-up disk.

I don't know about your camera roll, but for photostream just do this:
Go into Settings > iCloud > Delete Account and then sign back in using your Apple ID information.
Make sure to do the same thing with your iTunes and App Store options.
Settings > iTunes and App Store > Click Email and sign out, then sign back in. -

You were already provided the answer. If you do not have a backup of the phone while the photos were on the phone, they are gone. When you restore your phone from an old backup, anything that has been saved to the phone since that backup is deleted. Sorry.

Please help! How do I unlink a mask from a layer in Motion?
How do I "unlink" a mask from a layer so when the object on the layer moves, the mask stays still?
(Similar to how you unlink a mask in Photoshop by clicking on the link icon beside the layer thumbnail)ghgh
This is propably very simple, but I can´t figure this out or find it anywhere searching on the net or in the manual (already wasted almost two hours on this and my deadline is coming uncomfortably close...)

Your layers list would look like this:
If there are other layers in the group, then you would need to nest the masked group so as to not affect the other layers.
You could also add a shape and use that as an image mask which includes a stencil option.
Draw your shape
Select the image you want to mask
Add Image Mask (shift+command+m) via the object menu
Drag your shape to the image mask

Hello.
I have recently carried out a six month long project for a client company.
The client has been very underhanded and basically 'stolen' my work, and are trying to claim that they managed to do the work themselves.
It looks like am going to have to take them to court. They are a big company, and I am a self employed consultant.
I have to list the phone calls that were made to me, [on my N95] So I can prove the dates when they called me.
But when I go into the recieved calls list, only the last few calls are listed.
Im assuming this is because the 'factory settings' are set so that the phone, so that when it comes out of the box it does not save all the calls.
But I have never deleted anything manually.
I am hoping that, [like a PC] this list of recieved calls, is in fact still stored somewhere inside my phone.
Can anyone help?
Is there anyway I can retrieve the recieved calls list?
What are my options here? Is there a specific data recovery package that would work?
Are the list of recieved calls still inside my phone somewhere?

I tried contacting Nokia on the phone, and basically got brushed off. [After an hour on the phone I could not even get the nokia tech support number for the UK. They assured me I would get an email, but none arived]

If it has not been removed, then the activation lock is still active.
If the previous owner cannot remove the device from their account there is nothing you can do unless the place you purchased it from will give you a refund.

Step 4: Install the Boot Camp Drivers for Windows

The only way to locate any lost/stolen iPhone is through Find My Phone or a similar app. However, this requires that Find My Phone be setup/activated, on your phone, before it was lost/stolen. You would then login at iCloud.com & try to locate it. This requires the phone be turned on & have an Internet connection. There is no other way to locate a lost/stolen iPhone. Apple can't/won't help you, nor will your carrier. Report the loss to the Police, your carrier & Insurance company. Change all of your passwords.

No app on the iPod is required.
- If you previously turned on FIndMyiPod on the iPod in Settings>iCloud and wifi is on and connected, on a computer browser go to iCloud: Find My iPhone, sign in and go to FIndMyiPhone. If the iPod has been restored it will never show up.
- You can also wipe/erase the iPod and have the iPod play a sound via iCloud.
- If not shown, then you will have to use the old fashioned way, like if you lost a wallet or purse.
- Change the passwords for all accounts used on the iPod and report to police
- There is no way to prevent someone from restoring the iPod (it erases it) using it unless you had iOS 7 on the device. With iOS 7, one has to enter the Apple ID and password to restore the device.

I deleted icloud from my Macbook Air when I purchased it a couple of years ago. Since then, I have acquired an i-phone and have signed up for icloud on it. But, I cannot figure out how to reinstall icloud onto my MacbookAir. All of the instructions tell me to go to system preferences and simply click on the icon for icloud... this doesnt help as there is no icon or program on my Mac any longer.
