Took me a shade under an hour to download on an 18Mbps connection.
Basic 768kpbs-1.5Mbps connections can take 8-9 hours (or longer).

    How long did your installation take? I'm just curious because mine went from saying 3 hours and 54 min, down to 54 min and sorta bounced around, its about 3/4 done.

    Total, err, maybe a little over an hour? The counter was way wrong the whole time, so, yeah. Don't be surprised if when it says "About a minute remaining..." you actually wait about 20 more minutes. This seems to be happening to almost everyone. I know for sure it happened to me. The best advice I can give on the Leopard installer is this: It's a very poorly written piece of software, so, be patient, and give it lots of your time and love.

    I would always recommend migrating from a Time Machine backup drive...it's the most reliable (and fastest) means of moving everything over...and it's the most convenient, since you don't need to have two computers up and running to accomplish the backup.

    What they do is up to them, but loss prevention may include suspending that Apple ID for purchases until such time the fraud is rectified.
