Music can't be re-downloaded in all countries, and even where it can be it will only appear whilst it remains in the store. Is there a way to delete an app when you can't see the app's icon? I have so many apps that they don't all show up on the existing screens. I know it can be done by connecting to a computer and using iTunes, but I'm on the road away from my Mac.

I tried that and instead of showing me the inaccessible screens, it just shortens the number of available screens. Then if I reset the home screen in preferences it removes the folders I created and I'm back to square one.

ITunes 11 Apps Notificaion? Can't See the apps is Downloaded or NOT

Everyone, I am using windows xp with the latest of the itunes 11, i have a question about the apps section.
before, when i am using the 10.5version. when you downloaded the apps once, when you go back to the same page, is show you downloaded.
but now, when i use itunes 11, it didn't show i was download, can let you download or buy, is so not good for me, because, i don't remember which apps i bought before.
is anyone like that? or just mine?

HT1688 I have updated and lost my apps and I can't access the apps that I do have. I called AT &T today to no avail.

Yes you have to delete media to make the 2.7 GB available. When updating is done, the newer IOS only takes a max of 100 MB more storage than the old iOS. The iPod needs the extra space to do the installation.
You can update via iTunes. Just note that if you do all synced medial like a and music have to in the iTunes library.

You did not purchase or download those apps with your own Apple ID/iTunes account so you won't be able to transfer them to your iTunes library. You can't transfer purchases from one Apple ID to another either. So get rid of them and sync your own.

How can I view the photos contained in a backup without restoring my iPhone?

I've had a new iPhone for a while now, and have recently remembered that I had backed up quite a few photos on iCloud in the past. I can see that my backup takes up a lot of memory through the iCloud app for windows.
My question is: How can I view a backup without using it to restore my iPhone. I don't currently have a mac, only PC and and iPhone.

If the backup is local (not iCloud) you might be able to using a 3rd party tool.

All my contacts names have disappeared after upgrading to the lastest IOS. How do I restore this? I can't find people names etc. I run a business and this is not what I expect every time a new ios or something from apple turns up.

I've had issues before with upgrades and now I was skeptical of doing the latest upgrade.
10.7.1..... **** I've got the latest ios and it's messed my contacts up. Sticking all emails and removing some business contacts numbers so it's been a night mare to run for the last week or so. I don't even see which is important calls or not I just get "no number."
Anyone know a work around or must I wait for the next "upgrade/fix"?

1. Purchase your new hard drive and an external enclosure.
2. Put your new hard drive in the external enclosure.
3. Connect the external hard drive to your mac (FW or USB).
4. Use Carbon Copy Cloner (http://www.bombich.com/) to clone your internal drive to the external drive.
5. Take the new hard drive out of the external enclosure.
5. Open your computer, pull the hard drive out of your Mac.
6. Put the new hard drive into your mac. Close it up. Turn it on. It should boot right up.
7. Put your smaller drive in the external enclosure and use it for backup, extra storage or whatever.
