If these are iCloud backups, they won't be on your laptop. If they are backups made using iTunes, they will be at one of the following locations:
Mac OS X: ~/Library/Application Support/MobileSync/Backup
Windows XP: %AppData%\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup
Windows Vista: %AppData%\Roaming\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup
Windows 7: %AppData%\Roaming\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup
However, it you deleted it, you probably won't find it there now.

So it isn't in the iTunes directory, so you may not have copied it - if you did then copy it back to the same location on your computer.
If you copied the iTunes directory then you should have copies of your apps (though not their content) in a folder called Mobile Applications, if not then you can re-download them for free : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2519

Your camera roll is included in your device backup by default, unless you excluded it in settings. Goto Tcode: STAD or SM21 and u can find the necessary thing what u want.
In SM21, give the appropriate dates or the user id and execute.

I deleted the file, saved the book, updated the book, updated the TOC references, and confirmed that the file has been deleted -- but it's still there in the TOC. How can I get it out of there? And at what point in the proceedings should it be gone from the TOC?

How? You need to delete-from-book using the Book menu. A right-click option on the component file name.

I would expect a delete-from-book, followed by an update-book, would suffice.

For starters... you may already know this, but be sure to empty your trash. You can use something like OmniDiskSweeper (free) to show where most of your space is being taken up. It will list your folders/files in order of size. This will generally make any folder which is excessively large show up right away:

Ive implemented a servlet filter, but need to discover the class name of any servlet class that gets executed.
Ive dug through the spec and cant seem to find any path to do this.
Seems the methods needed to do this have been deprecated. (for security reasons?)
Is there any way to write a ServletFilter to grab this info?
If not, is there any other way to capture every servlet execution in the container, time its execution, and log the class name along with the execution time?
(***WITHOUT*** requiring a classpath over ride of any container provider classes)

request.getServletPath() returns the part of the URL which refers to the servlet. It isn't the classname of the servlet but it should be a reasonable surrogate. If you log that, then you could write some code which reads your web.xml and uses the servlet-mapping elements to convert it to servlet class names later.
