Hi,
I have just update my iphone 4 ios5 to ios6, but in that I dont know I am not able to see any of old applications, and I am not able to see my backup, could anybody tell me how to get it back to my new ios6 all those applications and musics etc, as those thing I can see in my MacBook itune, all those are avaible their but in my iphone.

As you have iOS 6 you must be a developer and therefore should know that discussing iOS 6 outside of the private developer only forums is a violation of the non-disclosure agreement you signed to gain access to it.

Some menu entries in the main menu bar are hidden if you use the mouse and only appear if you use the keyboard to open the menu (Bug 626825).
You can see the difference if you use Alt+F to open the File menu or other menus like the Edit menu (Alt+E) and Bookmarks menu (Alt+B) and compare that to what you see if you use the mouse to open the menu after you have made the menu bar visible by tapping Alt or by pressing F10.
* "Bookmark All Tabs" (Shift+Ctrl+D) no longer shows in the Bookmarks menu unless you open the Bookmarks menu via the keyboard (Alt + B).
* "Bookmark All Tabs" can be accessed via the right-click context menu of a tab on the tab bar.

The iPod backup that iTunes makes includes Notes.and other app data. However, it does not included synced media like apps and music.
Thus, just restore from backup with all your synced media in your iTunes library.

Can any one help me as my Hard Drive crashed yesterday and i've lost all my Music, movies etc purchased from itunes in the last 2 years. Need to know how to get a detailed print out from itunes to prove purchase and claim on insurance. And yes i know i should have backed up my recent files...

The only way is to log into your iTunes Store account (you'll need a working computer with iTunes installed, of course), go to your Purchase History, and do a screen capture of each successive page. There's no way to print out a full listing of all your purchased in one go.

You can't back up a computer to iCloud.
You can use any back up software, you should always back up to a different drive.

How do I get BACK to my ipod from I store, with new itunes?

So I start my I tunes..
It goes to my Apps.. OOps, I have 1 update available.
It goes to the down load page.
I can download it, or refuse it.. and then it takes me to the ITunes store.
How do I get back to my own Ipod? I cannot find the menu option. seems the only way is to exit Itunes and restart.

You can't put music directly onto your iPod from a memory stick. You can, however, get iTunes to recognize the tracks on the stick without having to copy them to the computer. Go to the iTunes Advanced preferences and uncheck the option to "Copy files to iTunes Media folder when adding to library". Then use the Add to Library command or drag the tracks into the iTunes window. iTunes will recognize the track files on the memory stick and allow you to sync them to the iPod. Note that when you remove the memory stick, iTunes will of course then not be able to play nor sync the tracks until you put the stick back in. It may therefore be better to just clear some space on your computer's hard drive.

Got new iPhone 5s, I have iCloud and iMatch. All my pictures came back, but none of my music has synced to my new phone. It will show it syncing and then when it is complete, no music has shown up on my phone. The iTunes match has been loading for 3 hours on the "gathering information about your itunes library", but nothing has happened from there. I have updated itunes and my phone. Not sure how to get ALL my music!

I deleted some apps from my iPhone and iPad by pressing long until the apps start to wiggle and then tapping the X. I also deleted the same apps from iTunes Apps. But every time I run the Apps update in iTunes it re-downloads these deleted apps. How do I get rid of them for good?

Until you get this sorted, there is a good chance you may simply lose everything.
Do you hav ean external drive?
If so copy the entire /Music/iTunes/ folder to the external drive.
Then you can delete /Music/iTunes/ empty the trash and recover this space.
Do this then Apple menu > Software update.
Restart the computer

Hi all,First time post. I as well hate the new 7.3.1 they way the albums are listed is horrible. I want to go back to the world of 7.2. I wish I had read the posts before i updated. I tried to convert. I went to my H.D. Library/and moved I tunes to the trash can but did not delete.Was afraid to do that. Went to the download site snd got 7.2 got it on the desk top and tried to install. It asked me pick an application in which to open it.I could not get past this and as a result went back by moving the 7.3.1 from the trash. What am I doing wrong here. I have 350 gigs of music and don't want to do anything to loose it. I am running Mac os x 10.4.10 please help. A step by step instruction would help a lot of us. Thanks very much....

The iPad 2 can only be updated to the most recent version of iOS, which is iOS 6. It cannot be updated to anything less.

i was losing temper looking for an answer for this. at the end the trick is that you need to show the side bar then only your library will list the apps menu for you to access & start doing the deletion huhhhhh..
Itunes > view (menu bar) > show side bar > under library select apps > all apps list either active & deleted on your device will be displayed in tile view > then you start to delete by right clicking> finally empty recycle bin >

How to get back to a version of iTunes that works?

I made the mistake of installing iTunes 10 - now my iPod is no longer recognized. How can I get an older version of iTunes to work? Each time I uninstall iTunes 10 and install an older version it won't start up. I get the error message that it was installed by a newer version so it can't be opened. I don't get it. Is there a way to completely wipe iTunes 10 off my computer besides going through the program manager to uninstall it? Had anyone heard if Apple is working on a fix for this buggy version of iTunes?

First of all, make sure Windows is showing file extensions and not hiding them from you.
C:\Documents and Settings\username\My Documents\My Music\iTunes\Previous iTunes Libraries\iTunes Library 2010-09-03.itl
That is my version 9 library that I updated on Sept 3rd. Yours can have a different date, but you get the idea.
Copy & paste it one folder up, into this folder
C:\Documents and Settings\username\My Documents\My Music\iTunes
Delete the version 10 itunes file, since you are not going to be using it.
C:\Documents and Settings\username\My Documents\My Music\iTunes\iTunes Library.itl
Right-click and rename the copy of the itunes v9 file so the date part is gone
C:\Documents and Settings\username\My Documents\My Music\iTunes\iTunes Library 2010-09-03.itl
