HT4859 When I open my iPad, it states that it needs to back up to iCloud.  It has already been backed up and the message still appears.  What do I do next?

When I try to turn on my iPad, it states that it needs to be backed up to i Cloud.  It is already backed up and the message is still there. What do I do next?

If you are getting a message that it hasn't been backed up for a certain time period, and you exit the alert and access your iPad, reset it by holding the power and home buttons at the same time until you see the Apple logo, then release.
