I would have your carrier check out the iPhone. But I have had this issue with other cell phones and beleive it to be related to how good of a connection your have to the cell tower.

I have Kelly Clarkson's "Breakaway" on my iTunes and on several playlists. my macbook pro is connected to internet via my time capsule but my iPad and iPhone won't. it shows wifi connection to the time capsule but when i go on to the internet on the iPad or iPhone, it comes up with network error. can anyone help?
This can be caused by a number of issues.
Was everything working and then suddenly stopped??
Or is this a new clean setup and has never worked.
Do you have a cable modem which is not a router and the TC setup in bridge? That will cause it. The TC must be in router mode, ie dhcp and nat.
Check the IP the MBP gets including dns and gateway..
Then check the ipad/iphone.. post what IP dns and gateway (router in applespeak) they get. -
My iphone showed up just fine on itunes. So did my ipad. Then my iphone stopped being recognized by itunes. Now when I plug it in itunes sees it as my ipad. Can someone help me to get it back the way it should be?

You might not have enough space on your phone.
Look on iTunes and see how much space the photos you copied over is consuming. -

I am unable to sync my Outlook calendar with my Iphone. I have noted that the Icloud Outlook add in is not ticked When I attempt to load it from the designated file nothing happens Can anyone help with this? Robyn
Re: check that the appointments in my phone are going into iCloud calendars....exactly how do I do this? I fear this is a really stupid question!
My iCloud account is set up with my Apple ID as one email account (for example [email protected]) which is the email account I use to sign up for internet sites like Amazon, Apple,etc, so that I can differentiate vendors/mass emails. But my default calendar on my iPhone is in a different email name (ie [email protected]) which I use for most communications to friends, relatives, etc. and it is this account that holds most of my appointments. To further complicate things I have other email accounts that I use for business/professional and community work. If I want all my calendars to show on my iPhone AND sync to my iCloud, do I set this at the phone level or the iCloud level? or both?
Let me clarify....It looks like if I go into appointments that I previously set up through my personal account (ie above [email protected]) and edit the entry on my iPhone, selecting the iCloud "home" calendar within the entry, it will then sync to my iCloud account, no problem....do I have to do this to EVERY entry I have? or is there a way to name my personal account as one to sync to iCloud? -
when trying to sync my iPhone i get a message saying : iTunes can't sync apps to iPhone because the apps installed on the phone could not be determine. what is going on?
I received the same error message after I had recently updated iTunes to 10.5.1 and I had wirelessly updated 13 apps. I had to go into iTunes and select Apps, on the bottom right it said I needed to update 13 apps. I updated the apps via iTunes and then synced again without an issue.

Did you already try to reset the phone by holding the sleep and home button until the Apple logo comes back again?

What have you tried exactly?
If GarageBand crashes on startup, it is frequently caused by a corrupted project, that cannot be opened. In this case it helps to reset GarageBand. Open the Settings.app, scroll down to the apps section, select "GarageBand", and set the "reset" button to "ON". This way, GarageBand will no longer try to open the last project, when it starts up and you can delete the last project.
A second reason for GarageBand crashing on startup can simply be lack of memory. Do you have enough free space on your iPhone?
If resetting GarageBand and freeing memory does not help, try Carolyn Samit's advice and reset all settings and reinstall, if necessary. -
my imessages are gone. i cant activate them now. When i go into send and recieve its only my e-mail address thats ticked and not my phone number ticked also. When i sign in with my apple ID it is ticked there. can anyone help me please.
Hi,
Go to the iPhone
GO to Settings > Messages
Is the iPhone Number ticked to be enabled (It will be greyed out and not editable but should be On)
If it is Off (Unticked remove the Apple ID)
Place the iPhone in Airplane mode for a few minutes.
Go back to Settings Messages and make sure the Message app Is Enabled overall.
Check the iPhone Number is verifying.
When Completed test by sending an iMessage to your Apple ID (Mac)
If that works add back the Apple ID to the iPhone's Settings.
Restart the Mac App and Accept the op ups that appear as to what the iPhone is using.
