HT4865 if i want to give access to documents to multiple users more than 20 can it be done in icloud

If i buy the storage space in icloud and give access to documents for multiple users more than 20 userids will it be possible to sync whatever changes i made to the documents will get updated in those multiple accounts when the client software is installed in their systems.

    Since the business team would decide on the criticality of transactions, I am firing this bold statement keeping the gun of their shoulders Because, this is how we implemented this, based on their feedback!
    An initial wind blows saying these are non-critical, however , I will definately research this more (keeping in mind, I have one difficult person to convince   )

    I have a new powerbook and want to give my girlfriend my old G4 power book, she has a new iphone 5s, and wants to create a new itunes/apple id. When i try to de authorize the G4 and sign in with her new apple ID it says bad password, how can i release the G4 from my cluster of authorized apples and make her the owner so she can download music and more importantly sync her music with her phone, she only has 3 songs on her iphone, and loaded all her CD's into the g4 but cant sync, im no dummy and this shouldnt be hard, but its driving me crazy!!!!!!

    Welcome to the Apple community.
    This feature has been introduced to make stolen phones useless to those that have stolen them.
    However it can also arise when the user has changed their Apple ID details with Apple and not made the same changes to their iCloud account/Find My Phone on their device before upgrading to iOS 7, or if you restore from a previous back up made before you changed your details.
    The only solution is to change your Apple ID back to its previous state with Apple at My Apple ID, verify the changes, enter the password as requested on your device and then turn off "find my phone".
    You should then change your Apple ID back to its current state, verify it once again, delete the iCloud account from your device and then log back in using your current Apple ID. Finally, turn "find my phone" back on once again.

    When you try to create a PK you automaticaly created an index. If you want to put this index in different tablespace you should use 'using index..' option when you create this primary key.

    Is it a standard icon or customized? If its a standard icon your basis administrator can enable or disable the icon by giving proper authorization.

  • I want to have 2 seperate libraries with content in different locations, can this be done?

    Hi there, I have 2 uses for itunes, one is for my mobile DJ business and for this I store all of my music on a 2TB external firewire 800 HDD I use Traktor Pro to mix, but find itunes very good for creating playlists.  I would however like to be able to store seperate content on my internal drive in a different library for personal use as a great deal of the stuff in my DJ collection I personally have no time for, and do not want the inconvenience of needing to connect my external HDD to be able to listen to my own collection.  I have a SSD installed and have tried depressing the CMD button during startup of the application although no option for creating a new library presents its self, it may be that the start up is too quick for me to be able out this.  Any ideas guys?   • Removed user from group, user no longer has access to documents even though user is owner of documents

    I'm running a server 2012 std domain and I'm in the process of rebuilding our fileserver after we had some pretty serious permission issues. Bad permissions (Everyone had full access to user documents share) were migrated when we move to the new server and
    then by some strange Monday morning freak out all users lost access to their documents. I restored from backups, redirected everyone's folders back to local computer and started to reconfigure the share permissions. I moved our administration group back to
    the server after securing proper permissions for folder redirection (permissions copied from https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/jj649078.aspx?f=255&MSPPError=-2147217396 table 1, only difference is instead of creating a new security group
    for redirection users, I used the everyone group) to test and everything went perfectly. The GPO created the users folders under the root and redirection was good to go. Along with that, other users cannot access other users documents anymore which was the
    intended outcome. 
    Last night I was looking at security groups and see that our administration group (back office group: accounting, HR, etc..) was a member of the domain admins. I removed them from the domain admins group and added them to the administrators group (they do
    need regular admin access) then went on like normal. This morning, all users in that group can no longer access their documents on the server. I immediately think that permissions were broken again and started to get angry, but then realize that all the files
    are still accessible on the server (no lost permissions like before) and the user is still shown as the owner with full permissions, but the files are inaccessible to those users. I re-added them to the domain admins group, logged out, logged back in and documents
    are back and accessible by the user. Remove them from the domain admins group, log out, log back in and the documents are inaccessible again. Re-add to the domain admins group and back to normal. 
    Which leads me to now. If the users are part of the domain admins group, they have access to their files. If they are removed from the domain admins group, they lose access. When they lose access, they are still the owners of the files/folders with full
    permissions, yet they can't access their documents. Also, just to add, the domain admins group has no specified permissions on the files or folders. See screenshots below..
    Here is the root share. 
    And the user's desktop folder. The folder is owned by the user with full permissions. This is the folder the redirection GPO created.
    Any ideas why removing the group from domain admins would drop access to their files? They are still the owners of the files and should have full access but they don't. Is there something I'm not seeing here?

    Effective Access shows the user has full control of the Desktop folder
    This is a problem with the Effective Access tab when using CREATOR OWNER.  As you have noticed, the user doesn't really have the access that the tab says it does.  This is because of how CREATOR OWNER works.
    CREATOR OWNER is only evaluated when a file/folder is created. 
    IF a user can create a file/folder, then the permissions assigned to CREATOR OWNER are copied to a new permissions entry for that user.
    To see this:
    Logon as an administrator and create a file in the Desktop folder in your screenshot.
    Examine the permissions of the new file.
    You'll see that there is a new entry for the account you logged on with.
    CREATOR OWNER is gone.  CREATOR OWNER would still be there if you created a folder (because of "subfolders and files").
    In the Desktop folder (in your screenshot), only SYSTEM and Administrator can create/access files.
    To fix this, you need to grant the users the ability to list the directory contents and create new files/folders.  This corresponds with the suggestion of Table 1 in the document you found.
    I see what you're saying about Administrators domain group. I'll just add them as local admins via GPO and that should solve that issue. 
    No, scary!  This will grant those users administrative permission on your server.  They will be able to see any file anywhere on that server.
    If your goal is to provide a place that is private for each user, then the simplest approach is to grant each user permission to their own folder.  Like this for Test User:
    Notes for above:
    I set the user's permission to Modify because there is no good reason why the user should change these permissions
    The owner of this folder is unimportant.  I leave it set to Administrators
    You can, and I do, remove CREATOR OWNER.  It adds no value in this situation and just causes confusion.
    As for the second screen shot, the *-Admins folder is the root to which Everyone has special permissions on and can create folders. The folder for M* was created by the GPO, which makes M* the owner to which they have Full control of subfolders and files.
    The GPO also created the Desktop folder, giving owner full permissions of subfolders and files. Inside the Desktop folder, permissions remain Full control for owner for subfolders and files. Even if it was the case that they only had permissions on subfolders
    and files, wouldn't each subfolder under that one be considered a subfolder and file of the top folder?
    If this works as you say, then Yes, it should work.  But, I don't see the entries for use M*.  Remember, there should be entries for the M* user that is a duplicate of CREATOR OWNER.
    I suspect that Group Policy is creating the directories (elevated) and then changing the owner to M* afterward.  This does not duplicate the CREATOR OWNER entries as needed.  If this is the case, I consider it a flaw because your permissions do
    not allow user M* to create files/folders, and group policy shouldn't bypass security.
    I'm not saying your wrong, I'm just curious why the technet article would advise Creator/Owner giving full control of subfolders and files only if that were not correct. I can add the permissions for the users easily, I just don't see why I need to give
    explicit permissions to access something when the GPO created those folders for me, which Microsoft recommends you allow. If the GPO can create folders and the folders are owned by the user, then the user can obviously add/create/modify/view those files and
    folders.

    A couple things:
    The article instructed the use of Folder Redirection Users group that had permissions to create files.  Your examples didn't have that.  Because of this, your user could create new files.
    The article assumes that the directories you are creating will be empty.  Existing files will be unreadable to everyone except Admins.
    If you follow the directions in the article, then anyone in the Folder Redirection Users group can write files to anyone else's directory.
    One benefit of the document's approach is that all the users could be redirected to the same folder using the article, and it would work.  A benefit, I guess.
    But, I like my user's separate and unable to see each other's files -- at all.  This is why I recommend replacing CREATOR OWNER with the specific user.
    I believe this document is a "how to get it done" document, not necessarily a best practices document.  I see it as a starting point, and that's why I didn't follow it exactly.
    Lastly, CREATOR OWNER permissions are useful but confusing.  I avoid them unless I have the rare circumstance where they are perfect.

    To summarize:
    In the user's directory, you need to provide permission to list and create new files/folders, and you need grant the user permission to the existing files.

    You are able to sync purchased content from your iDevice to a new computer as long as the comptuer is authorized
    To authorize the computer follow these steps
    At the topi of the screen next to File- Edit -View, click store then Authorize this computer.
    Enter in your appleID email address and password and click authorize
    **If you do not see the File Edit View option, At the very top left corner you should see a little square click the square and click show menu bar.
    Now that your computer is authorized click the file menu button, then click Devices, then go to your iPhones name and then click Transfer purchases this will allow you to transfer all of your purchased content to the computer
    Now if you want to transfer your non purchased content to the computer you can do so if you have wif and the previous computer on the same network as the new computer with home sharing

    I am just confused as we are facing the issue from past two days, We have SharePoint 2013 on premise and are using Mysite Application. Suppose there are two users A and B.
    If A share a document from his personal document folder to B. B recieves email notification that a document is shared and he can edit or view documents depending on the permission.
    But if B visit the A Mysite and try to access his document library he gets access denied. As per OOTB behavior B should see Shared with everyone folder and the document which has been shared with him.
    Please help me to resolve the above issue.

    I have done a test in my SharePoint on premise. B can see shared with everyone folder of A and documents which is been shared with B from my site.
    For  resolving your issue, you need to check whether the feature ‘Limited-access user permission lockdown mode’ is active. if it is activated, you need to deactivate it.
    Open your site with an administrator account->Click Site Settings->Click Site Collection features under Site Collection Administration->Scroll  to Limited-access user permission lockdown mode, check whether it is active. If yes, please deactivate
    it.

  • Access Planning layout by multiple users

    Hi Experts,
    I am using IP in my current Proj, i am facing a scenario where in users need to access the same layout for a given set of objects. . where in the users know what they have to forecast.
    Ex scenario:
    Material        region   KF
    x                   TN       100
    y                   CA      200
    z                   NY      300
    say we have three users each know which material they have to forecast, and all the three want to access the same layout in edit mode.
    Appriciate your valuble suggestions to achieve this.

    HI Harshavardhan,
    The Locks in Planning works in such a way that if we a given selection is queried into the data base, then all the records for the selection is locked.
    Since you have a single layout (Query) Accessing the data for all materials, then all the materials will be locked (provided material is maintained for locking) for the given user. Hence other users cannot logon tot he same layout in Edit mode.
    The Possible option is enable a material variable so that he can see / Plan only the materials he wants to Plan.
    If the user wanted to see other material, then  it is better to give them a desperate Query(not Input Ready) to display the data.

  • Don't want DW6 to open new documents in Full Screen? How can I do this?

    I have read a few posts and there doesn't seem to be an answer yet. Thought I'd bring this to the forefront and see if anything new has been discovered.
    When I open my first html document it always opens in Full Screen, which is huge (wide), covering everything else on my desktop (which I use in conjuction with DW). I have to find the tiny little bottom lower right corner (usually close to and almost hidden by the Dock) and drag the window to a workable size. Obviously a new html page is never the width of the full wide screen, so why does DW assume this is a workable size? We all use the Abode products because they work together with each other, which are usually open and working on your desktop as well. Someone at Adobe didn't think this out!

    No Nancy, everything opens just fine, the issue is the document window opens up full-screen behind everything (all my panels are there on top). The window is obviously upworkable until I scale it to fit in the rest of my viewable space. An html page is centered in this wide-screen upon opening, effectively being partially covered with tabs and panels. The outside space that the full screen window takes up is nothing but a solid color, covering useful space where I want to see my panels, some desktop for other apps if I wish etc. So effectively I have to resize the full screen window down, to the edges of the "workable" html designated space, which is all I need to see. Not 8" of a blank, useless window on each side, covering everything else.  I would assume most of us web designers are using and viewing other apps, windows etc. on their desktop at the same time. If nothing else you can't even work on the html page until you resize it i order to see the panels which cover it. In PS for instance once you size a document window the program remembers the size on your screen and position where it opened last.

    Syncing between iPhoto on your iPhone and iPhoto on your Mac is one-way.  You can sync selected albums, events, faces, places albums from your Mac to iPhoto on your iPhone using iTunes. This will not delete any albums you created on your iPhone, just add new albums. But albums you create on your iPhone cannot be synced to your Mac.
