HT4879 drivers hp laserjet 1018

necesito los instaladores para impresora HP Laserjet 1018

nicanavas,

  • HP Laserjet 1018 working in MacOS with 1022 drivers

    Hello,
I was experiencing problem of using HP Laserjet 1018 in MacOS. I read some of the articles at http://foo2zjs.rkkda.com/INSTALL.osx which you to send a firmware file each time to the printer. However, I also found that there is an update by apple called "HP Printer Drivers v.2.8 OS X" at http://support.apple.com/kb/dl907 but there is no HP 1018 in the list of compatible printers. Anyways, I installed the update and added the new printer and in the software pane, I selected HP laserjet 1022 drivers.
Now, the printer is working fine with my OS flawlessly.
Hope it help others having the same problem.

I just discovered this as well.  In case anyone is searching for HP1018
Download the newer HP drivers 2.11 for SL/Lion/ML at http://support.apple.com/kb/DL907
Add the 1018 in the Printer Setup and then select the HP LaserJet 1022 1.3.0.261 driver.
It's working for me in 10.7.5, prints beautifully.
    Hope this helps.

  • Can no longer print with Laserjet 1018 under Yosemite (10.10.1)

    Hello all,
I used to be able to use the HP Laserjet 1020 driver from Apple's HP Print Drivers 3.0 kit to print documents on my Laserjet 1018. It worked like a charm. Now that I have done a clean install of Yosemite, updated to 10.10.1, and installed the HP Print Drivers 3.0 package, the documents get sent to the print queue but no documents are printed...
What are my options, short of buying a new printer or downgrading to Mavericks?
I really resent regressions.... especially those you only find out about after the fact.

I just realized I had been trying to use the HP LS 1200 driver for my 1018, while I should have been using the 1022 driver, which is the one that works with the 1018 (since there is no specific driver for 1018).
So now that I have already upgraded to 10.10.1, I'm not sure if the update fixed anything for me or if I was just using the wrong driver from the start.
Anyway, the HP LaserJet 1022 driver works on the 1018 on Yosemite 10.10.1. Confirmed.

  • [SOLVED] cups and laserjet 1018

    Hi all,
I've been trying to use cups to set up a Laserjet 1018 with no success. The problem I'm having is that, even though according to the CUPS web interface my job is completed, my printer doesn't print anything. That's what I tried so far (based on the archlinux entry on CUPS and forums):
    - I installed the drivers hplip and foo2zjs.
    - cups is in my daemons array.
    - I tried to stop and start usblp module.
    - the device node permissions are correct.
That's the output of my /var/log/cups/error_log (I'm using "LogLevel debug" in my cupsd.conf):

  • HP Laserjet 1018 does not print (Vista)

    Hi,
I've had the HP Laserjet 1018 for about 2 years and have been a very happy customer. Recently I upgraded to Windows 7 and have been using it without trouble for a few months. Just a few days ago I started having some spooler problems on Windows 7. Eventually the printer would not respond. I also have a laptop running Vista so decided to just use print using Vista instead.
The problem I'm having on Vista now is that when I send a print command, the printer does go into a warm-up state for about two to three seconds. I can hear moving parts inside and at the same time the 2 lights blink alternatively. But after this warm-up state the printer would just stop.  At this pint the print queue on windows would be empty again, as if the print job has been complete.
I've used this printer with my Vista laptop for a long time without any problem. I hope this is a common problem and can be easily resolved. Thanks in advance for helping me out.
    Theo

I have a similar problem. Dell XPS 64 bit desk top using Laserjet 1018 with Vista. Upgrade to Win 7 four months ago without a problem. Six days ago the print spooler stopped and stops immediately every time I start it. Pages of error reports in event log, but can't find one with a cause (that I can understand anyway). Cannot print. Can't uninstall HP drivers to install any new drivers because the spooler is stopped. Ran Windows system file checker without a problem documented. Windows says the printer is working and trouble shooter did not help. Printers display on control panel with limited function upon right click. Can't choose print directly to printer. A number of similar posts on Microsoft site without viable solution.

  • Hp laserjet 1018 on windows 7 64 bit computer

have hp laserjet 1018 long time working ok. suddenly without any messages the printer stopped printing from any software. The printer does print its test page. I suspect driver corruption. Cannot find a solution without having to pay a lot. Can you help? My printer product # is CB419AR.   I am new at this, but may have used this Forum one time many years ago successfully.  I tried to download the driver but not sure that i did it correctly
    other question; what are TAGS

    Welcome to the HP Forums.
I see by your post that the printer isn't printing from the software programs but will print the test page.
I can help you with this issue.
You can put anything you like in the tags. They are basically used to find your issue quicker when doing a search for a specific issue.
Download and run the Print and Scan Doctor. It will diagnose the issue and might automatically resolve it.
Find and fix common printer problems using HP diagnostic tools for Windows?
If the issue persists then uninstall and reinstall the newest drivers online.
Uninstall the old software first. Disconnect the USB cable.
    Uninstalling the Printer Software.
I would suggest downloading the Full Feature Software if it is available for your operating system.
    HP LaserJet 1018 Printer Drivers.
Select your operating system, click next and click on the software to download and install.
What operating system are you using? How to Find the Windows Edition and Version on Your Computer.
Please provide in detail the results if you are still having issues.

  • IMac and HP LaserJet 1018

I'm switching to Mac in a few days, and I own a HP LaserJet 1018 printer, which apparently dosen't work with a Mac. (although Apple claimed that "everything works with a Mac") Does anyone here has that printer, and how does it work with a Mac? Please help...

    Paul Keith-
Greetings. That is exactly how you will do it.
More information on setting up a small network can be found here.
You can download the drivers from HP. Make sure the printer is connected to the router and on before running the installer.

  • Problems installing HP LaserJet 1018 printer on new MacBook Pro

    Hi all,
I just entered the wonderful world of Mac and I am really enjoying it. Too bad I waited so long. However, I have a problem installing my printer, an HP LaserJet 1018 printer, on my new MacBook Pro intel based computer. I checked at HP's website and it says that the printer is not supported for the Mac environment. Could there be other possibilities with drivers to download or should I buy a new printer?
Looking forward to hearing from you.
    Best regards,
    Christian
MacBook Pro 15", Intel based   Mac OS X (10.4)

    Hi Crelle,
When the manufacturer says they don't support something, it's generally best to stay away from it.
There's almost always 3 ways to do any 1 thing, but you may need you printer to do more than 1 thing and therefore you're going to have issues with all the other things.
Printing to a printer sounds like 1 thing, but it's not.
It's many things working together to get ink on paper.
My advise is get a supported printer and live without a headache.

    Hello muffa,
Welcome to the HP Support Forums!
I see you are attempting to install the LaserJet 1018 onto your new Mac, probably 10.9. From the research I have done, this printer is not supported on any Mac.
There is not  much in this document, but it does display which LaserJet printers are not supported: This Product Is Not Supported in Any Macintosh Environment.
I have even looked into what Apple drivers are available for this printer, it seems there is nothing either. Here is the list: OS X: Printer and scanner software available for download.
