HT4890 My iCloud isn't showing any of my pictures. How can I add them?
My iCloud account does not copy any of my pictures. When I log into in on the computer there is not a folder for pictures. How can I add it?
Then how are you supposed to transfer your pictures from your computer onto your iPhone?

Photo stream only keeps your photos for 30 days. After that, they are removed from your photo stream but not from any device that has already received them. Chances are, the 44 photos are from the last 30 days; the others are not there because they are no longer in your photo stream.
If the photos were in your camera roll when you last backed up, restoring to the backup should recover them. However, you will have to restore to the entire backup to do so. If they weren't backed up or imported to your computer, there is no way to recover them now.

I got the new iPhone 5C. In my cellular settings, under "Use cellular data for", it only show passbook and facetime. How can I add other apps? Also, my carrier is AT&T

You should be able to see two different tabs when setting up the email if you go to Other > Add Mail Account. Once you enter in the email address and password, you should be at the next screen to provide more details about the email as far as incoming and outgoing servers and at the top there will be a blue section to add it in as a POP or IMAP email account. I have several .mp3 files of speech. When I add them to iTunes they show up in Music. How can I get them to show up as Audiobooks?
Have you tried restarting or resetting your iPad?
Restart: Press On/Off button until the Slide to Power Off slider appears, select Slide to Power Off and, after It shuts down, press the On/Off button until the Apple logo appears.
Reset: Press the Home and On/Off buttons at the same time and hold them until the Apple logo appears (about 10 seconds).
No data will be lost. -
So I recently bought 3 new songs, and they won'y show up on my main iTunes Library page or under the artist, but they show up under purchased. How can I get them to show up under the artist/ main library page?

I keep many lists and things in the NOTES I share with my iPad and iPhone however, since I upgraded to Yosemite, I continue to "lose" them. I contacted someone who spent quite a bit of time to relocate them. Supposedly they were stored in iCloud and they were. Then a few days later they disappeared. They were found again but also disappeared soon after that. It's frustrating because I had about 14 different lists backed up (I thought) but I'm down to 1. The interesting thing is that when I first turn on NOTES on a device, all NOTES show up then immediately disappear again. I would like to 1. find them again and 2. understand what I need to do to keep them there!
Before you try any of the steps below please make a backup copy of your file(s) as explained in steps #1 - #5 below. Be sure you always make a backup copy of any system files before you make any changes.

DISCLAIMER: I do NOT use iCloud, Time Machine, or any other email, program, or account to backup my Notes. If you have any of those options enabled or available I can not promise this will work for you. I upgraded from Maverick to Yosemite and immediately had this problem with my missing notes
I was able to do the following to manually find and copy/paste my notes back into the Notes app:
From your Mac Desktop click "Go" on the top menu bar
From the "Go" drop down menu, select "Go to Folder..."
In the window that appears enter the below file path; make sure to replace "USERNAME" with your Mac user account name: //Users/USERNAME/Library/Containers/com.apple.Notes/Data/Library/Notes
Find the file named "NotesV3.storedata"
Copy this file and save it into another folder (on your desktop works fine)
Rename this file to "NotesV3.storedata.html" (if prompted, allow or accept the change to HTML)
Double click the file and it should open in your default internet browser.
Look through the text carefully, among the 'junk' text you should start to see the text from your lost notes.
Copy whatever text you want to safe from this file and paste the text into Notes app on your Mac
It is tedious but it is the only way I could restore my notes, hopefully it helps you too! - Please leave feedback in this thread about what worked for you.
I did call apple, reported this issue, and I'm expecting a call in 1.5 weeks from a senior tech about what engineering has found. -
Recent photos from my iPhone no longer appear in my iPhoto library, or at least I can't find them. I just looked at them in iPhoto yesterday or the day before. Baffling. Photos from my other device (camera) do show up okay, although the "Last 12 months" folder does not show anything more recent that August. The only thing I can think of that has changed is that I accepted a prompt for a software upgrade for my macbook earlier today. It might have had something in it that affected iPhoto (?). I have an EHD backup via time machine. Not sure how to get individual photos off of that, however.
Any ideas re. causes or solutions? Some precious photos in that missing batch.

Troubleshooting a start up script can be difficult. There are some third party programs that also keep logs of start up programs, however for Firefox this may be different.

In the control panel there is also Administrative tools to view event logs, but this may be something a local technician can walk you through. -

My IPad 1 shows the Apple icon on the screen but it won't go to another screen or turn off. Has anyone else experienced this?
Try to reboot your iPad: Press and hold the power AND home buttons at the SAME time for at least 10 seconds (ignore the red slider to shut down) your screen go blank momentarily - keep holding both buttons - until the Apple Logo appears, then let go of both buttons and your iPad should [hopefully] restart.

ICloud deleted 1/2 my contacts...how can I get them back?
After having an iPhone since its inception... I've never had any problems migrating contacts. Now, I turned on iCloud contact sync for the first time today to test it out... only 105 of my 2 or 300 contacts show up now, I've tried restarting the phone, turning contact sync on and off, looking at the iCloud website to see if the full list is there (it's not), restoring SIM contacts (didn't change anything), and now I'm trying to restore an iTunes backup from a month or so ago (who knows if that will work...) Why is this such a headache? Why does iCloud irreversibly delete contacts? Please help, I have no idea what the missing contacts are and I'm super OCD, all had matching email addresses, AIM names, properly labeled alternate contact info... been building this address book for 5+ years and now it's evaporated??!??? Can't even get apple on the phone because my iPhone 4 is a couple years old. They don't have software support anymore? Super stressed about this.
I feel your pain. I awoke this morning to check my text messages on my iPhone (I'm away working in Norway) only to notice a text my girlfriend sent over the night. The title bar over the message listed her Italian mobile number instead of her name. I thought that odd, only to realize that virtually all of my contacts have disappeared from the iCloud. Even more strange, there appears to be no order, rhyme nor reason, or any form of sense as to what has been deleted. If this (and a few other issues I have with post-Jobs Apple) is indicative of Apple's trajectory, they're not going to be around long. I'm beyond ******-off over this and I'll be thinking very hard about buying Apple products in the future.

Why would you be surprised? You were syncing your Notes with iCloud or a Mail Account. Synchronization means when you make a change on one device, it affects all other devices that are synched for the same purpose. Like when you delete an email (usually) it also disappears from your other devices as well. -
I took my Ipad to my local Apple store as it would not d`load or update apps. They factory restored it,on icloud backup restore not all my apps were restored including some i`d paid for, they show up on my list of appsin icloud, how can i get them back? any help very welcome, thanx...Andrew
Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
