HT4897 My Icloud Alias Wont work, It shows that its active but i cant receive emails?
Ive had this alias for a while and its tied up to accounts, but i cant recive any email. It does not show as disabled .What do i do?
Having similar problem. Account predates 2008. Now one alias is not working and receive error code smtp;550 5.1.1 unknown or illegal alias. Have checked and double checked alias name when sending and it is correct.
Looking in the "references/rules" tool the alias appears to be active. Other aliases working. Only thing that has changed is recent purchase of iphone 5s. Checked setting on the iphone and the aliases are on and appear to be active.
Could delete all my aliases, but enjoy having the 5 associated with my old account, and would be limited to 3 if I eliminate them and restart.
Any solutions/thoughts?

My Mac book pro won't charge. But the connector is plugged in and shows that its charging but it says it has 0% but if I unplug it it will shut off. It's been like this all day but I didn't notice till I turned it on.
It's either a power adapter issue (not likely) or (more likely) a power supply problem on your MBP. Take the machine into your local Apple Store or an AASP and have them diagnose the problem.

Clicked on update software and then computer began to download the update. Now it has been have an hour and is still downloading the update. Shows that its connecting to the update server, but don't think it actually has. Im on a Mac, and have a very fast internet connection. Im not sure how long this update should take, but I feel that 30 min trying to connect to the update server is a long time. How do I fix this?

Remove the files in the updates and updates\0 folder.<br />
You may need to delete active-update.xml and updates.xml as well if present.

My iPod touch 4th gen won't show that its charging but it charges
My iPod will not show its charging but it will charge if it's on the charger for the day it doesn't show up when I plug it into the computer I tried resetting it but that didn't work I've also tried different chargers and USB cables but nothing seems to work

If still problem make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

Hi, I upgraded my iCloud storage from 5gb to 20gb, it took the money from my account, and it said "Completing purchase" for an hour, and then when it finished it still said 5gb. What's the problem? 1 dollar is not a problem, but I am not expecting things like this to happen, primarily because I need the storage. Thank you in advance.
Wait a day and see if it changes. If it doesn't, contact Apple Support to ask them to get your billing problem sorted.

Water damage is totally unpredictable. If it was salt water the phone is definitely dead. If it was not you MAY be able to recover it by putting it in a sealed plastic bag full of uncooked plain rice (not quick cooking or "converted") for at least a week without attempting to turn it on. Better yet, if you can get silica gel easily that works better than rice. If you have tried to turn it on it may be too late for this. -

Since I have no idea which country you are in, I suggest you click on the Store button at the top of this page and then go to your country's store. There, you can find the prices of each and every model of iPod Touch in your country's currency.

By all means take your broken iPod into an Apple store and see if there is any discount they can offer you. -

Im having massive issues with my email... I cant receive emails for my work email... was working perfectly and now just wont connect, i assume that I need to use my home wifi as the outgoing server?? Please help
For your work email, do you use a well known server or do you use their own server? Their server IMAP and SMTP addresses might of changed or you entered them in wrong. It might be something with your router but unless you blocked every incoming connection, then it should work. I would talk to your tech guys at work to see if it is on their end.

Removing and Reinstalling iTunes, QuickTime, and other software components for Windows XP
or
Removing and reinstalling iTunes and other software components for Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8
However, after your remove the Apple software components also remove the iCloud Control Panel via Windows Programs and Features app in the Window Control Panel. Then reinstall all the Apple software components
- Then do the other actions of:

paying special attention to item #5
- New cable and different USB port
- Run this and see if the results help with determine the cause

Today I received the same message but have 4.6gb available from a total of 5.0gb. I also received the same message when i first set up my icloud account and icloud was virtually empty. Unfortunately the only way i can see to contact apple is to pay for a telephone call. If anyone knows what is going on i would appreciate knowing.
