HT4898 Re Keychain synch not available in iCloud. Other Options? Evernote?

Seems crazy that if you add a website password on your iMac in Keychains it will no longer be synched with Keychain on your MacBook pro.
What work arounds are you looking at ? Evernote? What Other options are you thinking of to have passwords and secure notesd available on all your mac devices?

hello guys, i live in lebanon too and i was so frustrated by this. however i found the solution. when setting up icloud keychain, before creating a password for the keychain press on advanced options and choose not to create a password. you will ahve to use your account password to activate keychain on other device. this will bypass the sms confirmation

Hello, I live in the German speaking part of Switzerland (and have a credit card address here too) but want to watch films in English, Italian, or French. Unless I am mistaken, iTunes Switzerland is far from Swiss and does not encourage its people to watch films in the local languages of its country (at least French and Italian would be good too...). Can anyone help ? Do I have to move to Geneva to watch a non French film in French or Lugano to watch a non Italian film in Italian or simply buy a DVD to get round it?

I have the same problem. I want to watch any movies in French (in the original, or subtitled and/or dubbed). But I cannot seem to find any on iTunes. Does iTunes offer any content in other countries (I live overseas) in the languages of those countries?

Hi all, my Z3 Compact phone was heating up a lot in the recent summer days. At some point it was not reacting and not booting. So I pressed the yellow OFF button next to the nano card SIM holder.http://support.sonymobile.com/gb/xperiaz3compact/userguide/Resetting-your-device/ After this, the phone restarted and it is asking me for an unlock pattern, which I had never set before.It is not offering me any other option like Google identification or security question. And after 5 wrong attempts it tells me to wait 30 sec. I can see that the phone is working, I receive calls and can see that messages arrive. But I can't unlock the phone!! I tried a hard reset using PC companion but it complains and says that I need to have the screen unlocked to continue! So also no solution there! Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Update / Repair your phone via PC Companion
Download PC Companion and install it. Do not connect your phone until you're asked to do so.
Launch PC Companion > Start Support zone > Start Phone/ Tablet Software update > select Repair my Phone / Tablet > Follow the on-screen instructions it shows.

Mail, Contacts, Calendar not available on iCloud Control Panel on my Win 7 PC for Outlook sync

I have loaded iCloud Control Panel 4.0 on my PC (Win 7 64)
The iCloud Drive, photos & Bookmarks is available to be switched on/off but Mail, Contacts, Calendar etc not available. Instead just a message on top that says you can access Mail, Contacts, Calendar, and Reminders at iCloud.com.
How do I setup iCloud so that the Calendar & Contacts on my OUTLOOK 2010 are synced with my iPhone &iPad?

Photostream checkbox not available in iCloud control panel: Windows 7 PC, 64 bit

Photostream checkbox in iCloud control panel is not available to be checked. I've uninstalled & reinstalled maybe 4-5x now. Also tried switching from Chrome to Explorer 9 for downloading to see if that might help. Also have deleted everything Apple on my PC, & started from scratch. The very odd thing is, it used to work just fine. At some point within the last 2-3 months, there must have been an update that was installed, and I can no longer access the checkbox on photostream.Tech help could not figure out a solution either.

TS3988 I can't access my mailbox - not available in icloud?

I have not been able to synch mail on my iphone since about 11am today; and tonight I can't synch on my mac. Have tried connection doctor, have reset my apple id, hasn't made a difference. Logged on to icloud, can see contacts and calendar, can't see my mailbox. How do I report it and can anyone help? Thanks ...

My alias is not available in icloud mail

Hey, I recently made a new alias in my icloud account and it worked fine. Now that I want to reply some of the received responses, I cannot select this alias in the "from" box where you select the e-mail address you want the receiver to see.

May be Illustrator doesn't like it. Yes, I'm not kidding, Illustrator is programmed to be quite picky accepting fonts in its menu - the fonts must be top quality.
Another thing is to make sure the font is in the Fonts folder in your system and not in some place available to inDesign only like a program's fonts location or if you are using a font manager.

My Music App not avail for iCloud?

I just noticed my storage selections for the iCloud does not include the MyMusic App. Ive tried everything and cant figure out why. Even bought 10GB more storage space thinking it was the size of my music. Anybody have this issue and a solution?

Try basic troubleshooting steps. Close the music app and reset the iPad.
In order to close apps, you have to drag the app up from the multitasking display. Double tap the home button and you will see apps lined up going left to right across the screen. Swipe to get to the app that you want to close and then swipe "up" on the app preview thumbnail to close it.
Next, reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

Is it possible to sync songs not available to iCloud?

I have songs which iTunes says are not able to upload to iCloud via iTunes Match. I can't sync it to my IOS devices through iTunes anymore if I'm using ITM. So, I either have to disable ITM and go back to direct library sync but lose the advantage of ITM. Is there anyway to sync part of a library or playlist and still use ITunes Match?

Your iOS devices do not need to be "linked" to your previous iTunes Store account. They can still play the media. It is only computers that need to be "authorized," and as long as your Mac is authorized you can sync and play that protected media on an unlimited number of devices.
But, as you say, if it simply isn't working then you've got a couple of courses of action. One is to sign into that original account on the iTunes Store and upgrade the protected files to DRM-free files, via the iTunes Plus link under the Quick Links section on the left side of the page. Two, is to burn those protected files to an audio CD and re-import them as AAC or MP3 files. Either course of action will allow the files to then be compatible with iTuens Match.

Why is Photostream grayed out, not available, in iCloud Control Panel?

I have uninstalled iCloud Control Panel, rebooted, reinstalled, several times. Always the same result.

I am beyond sick of this problem!!! Spent nearly a whole day last week uninstalling, reinstalling, settings, more settings, closing down, opening up yadiyadiya..........Thought Id sorted it - well for one day!! And here we go again!!!! As soon as I find an alternative method of posting photos I will discard icloud completely. Apple help is no help. I dont want to read any more notes, fixes, information which isnt effective or which Ive already tried. Its clearly a total sytem failure and I for one am sick of it!!!

Non- Latin characters not available following iCloud problem

ExternalGroups not available in the "Other Attributes"

Hi all,
I'm having a problem when i'm using EAP-TLS with certificate for authentication. The authentication is working if my authorization
criteria don't include an external group in the matching criteria. When I try to add an external group in my authorization rule, it
doesn't match my rule.
When i look in the "Other Attributes" field for that client it is not showing up as an available attribute.
Do you know why it is doing this? Does the user i use for joining the AD is missing rights? Anything else? Active directory
is 2003 and 2008..
FYI, when i use the same account to authenticate with PEAP rather than EAP-TLS the external groups are there and i can create
a rule to match the external group for that user.
Also, when i try to read the attributes for this user in the extrernal identity, there is no attributes that are returned. Some other
users are working..
Any clue??? Is there any debug i can enable to troubleshoot this?

The "SGAccess-IT-Firewall" you see in the rule is basically a condition that match the external group i want. This is a predefined condition that's why you see the name of my condition rather than the detail of the condition.
Like i was saying in my previous message, i have multiple rule for testing. Rule #3 and #4 are the rules i'm testing with.
Rule #3 is working because there is no condition to match the external group. Rule #4 is the one i would like to implement but it is not working. So for now i'm switching between both rules for testing.
When it fails, it match the last rule that is a deny access (default rule)
I can't provide a successful authentication from another user because it is never working when i enable rule #4 and use a certificate for authentication. What i was saying, was it is working when i use PEAP for authentication. The difference
i found in the detail authentication reseult is the "other attributes" available. I included a screenshot in my first post.
So far i'm still searching..I can do the same thing in my lab on a test domain and test ISE server and it's working good..
