Welcome to the Apple Community.
Check you are logged into your store account properly (settings > store). Also check there are no restrictions set that might be causing this (settings > general > restrictions)

What happens when you tap it?
Try Settings > Store > Apple ID > sing out and back in.
Try a reset... press the home and sleep/lock buttons until you see the Apple logo, ignoring the slider. Takes about 5-15 secs of button holding and you won't lose any data or settings.

I discovered this lovely little forum entry that solved my problem!
(Remember this is for Windows, I'm not sure if the same will work for Mac)
This is what you do:
1: Have iTunes up and plug in your iPod.
2: Hold the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons down until the iPod shuts down.
3: When the screen is blank, release the Sleep/Wake and just hold the Home button down for about 15 seconds.
4: After then, iTunes will recognize an I iPod in Recovery Mode.
5: That's when iTunes will ask you to Update/Restore your iPod.
I'm pretty sure those are the steps.
(If anything is wrong, can someone fix it, please?)
But that really does work.
The writer said that his iPod was "stuck on the apple screen, and not going anywhere after that."

The error that I keep getting is "One Seniors (the provider) is not responding!!

I have been using a text from New Riders to learn about creating server applications, and am using Tomcat as the server in a Windows XP environement. As per the instructions, to create a new application and path, I added the following path under the webapps directory, that sits under my Tomcat directory:

I then create copied Java class code, listing below, and compiled, put the class in the classes directory in my new directory path. The code is simple, here it is:

I tried one more thing. And it actually does, which leads me to believe, I did something wrong setting up the directory environment in Tomcat.
At this point I am at a loss to figure out what I did wrong, and what else I can do to fix this. Any help, suggestions, would be great.
