Can you have more than one computer linked to the same icloud account?  If so how do you add a computer?

Yes, of course - that's the whole point, to provide syncing of data such as calendars, contacts and email between computers and iOS devices. Having got iCloud up and running on one computer, simply sign all other devices in at System Preferences (or Settings)>iCloud with the same login. (Lion 10.7.2 and iOS5 are the minimum requirements.)

  • Can you have more than one person on itunes on your pc?

Or do you have to just create seperate playlists but still download everything to the same itunes?

    Just make a new account.
From iOS: Tap iTunes, scroll all the way down, tap on that apple id, log off (if needed) once off, then tap Apple iD again, and make new account from there.
From Windows (XP, Vista, 7): Go to iTunes, go to the iTunes Store and click on the apple id, log off from there then click again to set a new account.

  • HT2731 can i have more than one apple id on a computer? As when we go away we want to facetime from our macpro to our main mac at home and both are registered under the same apple ID. Thanks

Can you have more than one apple id on a computer. We are going away and want to facetime from our macpro to the mac computer at home but both are registered under the same apple ID. What should we do ?

I will share with you what I have done to manage this with my family.  While the solution isn't without flawes, it seems to do the trick.  First, you need to have one person who is managing the synching of everyone's devices.  In my family, I have three iphones, about to be four, and five ipads.  We all synch to the same apple ID to allow one another to take seemless advantage of our Itunes, which is on our Imac.  To synch individual music or video interests, we simply select which playlists we want and manually synch that way.  A couple of us use imatch and the cloud to make the entire library accessable as well.  With respect to the imessage, mail, contacts, etc. we each have a gmail account for our individual emails, contacts etc.  So for instance, my forth grade daughter has a gmail account that we choose to synch her contacts, calendar, etc to and then that is also the account where she receives her imessages from on her ipad and itouch. My son, who has an iphone and ipad, does the same thing, but under settings, he goes to imessage and checks his phone number and his email as his preferred way to receive imessages and texts.  My wife and I do the same thing.  To avoid having everyone see one anothers contracts etc, we only synch contacts from our individual email accounts.  Here is the downfall to this:  When you update your phone or add a new device, apple always wants to reset everyone's facetime and imessage settings and then low and behold we are all receiving imessages from one another's friends etc.  To work around this, I simply take each of their devices and go to their imessage settings and only check the email and phone numbers relative to their devices.  I dont' know is this is the best solution, but it seems to work for us.

There's a few ways of managing multiple devices on a single computer (and keeping seperate content on each). The following document is worth checking through:

Yes. Either create and use separate Windows user accounts, or launch iTunes with the Shift key held down as desired.

I think you are using the same Composition Class on both project. On the properties tab, you can change this number (e.g.: EDGE-1637270).

    Yes.
You can authorize a computer for up to 5 accounts, I believe

  • Can you have more than one user account on an Ipad

can you have more than one account on the ipad.

    But...
You CAN connect an iPad to multiple Apple ID's, one-at-a-time, if you're willing to share a combined pool of apps, music, movies, photos, podcasts, and perhaps, email accounts, and sync things manually.
First, uncheck the option to 'automatically sync' mobile devices in the preferences for each iTunes account, so that you're not accidentally installing or removing content when you connect the iPad to a computer.
    Here's how we do it:
I have a MacBook with two user accounts and two Apple ID's: "Hers"-used only for iTunes/iPad manual sync-ing and backup; and "Mine", used for all my Mac programs, plus iPad Apps that I'm interested in.
The iPad2 is her only computing device, used primarily for email and web-browsing.
On her iPad2, we have a combined 'pool' of apps, photos, and music.
We use her Apple ID for her email, and to sync and back up.
I use my Apple ID to download a lot of free apps to my MacBook.
In the App Store, I sign out of her Apple ID and use my Apple ID to transfer and update the apps I want to try out. Then I can delete them from her iPad when I'm done 'playing', yet leave them on my MacBook for future re-installation, if desired.
To simplify email privacy, we've configured the iPad Mail app exclusively for her MobileMe and Hotmail accounts. I connect to my email accounts with the Safari browser, or from my MacBook.
    Hope that helps!
I'm not certain how iOS 5 and iCloud might enhance or restrict my ability to manage this in the future.

  • How do i have more than one computer to apple tv

how do i have more than one computer to apple tv

My answer is based on guessing what your question is since it seems a little incomplete.
When enabling home sharing with an Apple ID on your Apple TV, this can be done with one Apple ID only. Now when enabling home sharing on your iTunes device you need to use the same Apple ID. You can do this with several devices, however the Apple TV will always only find the first device that comes online since it cannot differentiate between different home sharing devices with the same Apple ID.
When using AirPlay you just need to be on the same network with your device. For example I can go to my best friend and watch my movie there on his Apple TV and vice-versa unrelated from the fact that we use different Apple IDs of course.
I hope this answers your question.

Yes, providing that you use seperate user accounts on the computer.

  • Can I have more than one iCloud account?

Can I have more than one iCloud account?

One option is to start backing up one of them to your computer using iTunes instead.  To do this, go to Settings>iCloud>Storage & Backup and turn off iCloud Backup.  After that the device will start automatically backing up to your computer when you sync it with iTunes.
Another option is to migrate your iPad, along with a copy of the iCloud data to a different account.  To do this, start by saving any photo stream photos that you want to keep on it to the camera roll (unless already there) by opening your my photo stream album, tapping Select, tapping the photos, tap the share icon (box with upward facing arrow), then tapping Save to Camera Roll.  If you are syncing notes with iCloud that you want to keep on your iPad, you'll need to open each of your notes and email them to yourself so you can later copy and paste the text into new notes created in your new account.  Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account (which only deletes the account from your iPad, not from iCloud; your phone won't be effected by this), provide the password to turn off Find My iPad and choose Keep on My iPad when prompted.  Then sign back in with a different Apple ID to create the new account and choose Merge to upload your data to the account.  The disadvantage of this is that once your phone and iPad are on different accounts, they will no longer sync data with each other using iCloud.
