HT4914 How do I cancel my subscription to iTunes Match?

Somebody used my computer iTunes (one of my children or one of their friends) and did something to iTunes accounts. Long story short, I am unable to turn on iTunes Match. I get "This computer is already associated with an Apple ID". I need to wait 84 days to use it!. No point on paying 3 months for something that I will not use. The problem is that I can't find anywhere how to cancel iTunes Match. Does anybody know?

You have to download your music to at least one of your devices, preferably a computer, before you cancel.

Having said this, Apple support emailed last night stating that it is not currently possible to cancel my subsription to iTunes Match! And they have no estimated time on resolving this issue.
I suggest, if you haven't already done so, that you check out the conditions and limitations of moving your itunes account to a new country, plenty of information on this topic in the forums.

How does the payment method work with iTunes Match. For example, if you have a gift card, does it take it out of that. Or is there tax? What if you cancel your subscription in the middle of the year, does it take the money for that year or not? If someone could answer those questions it would be greatly apreciated. I do not want my itunes match subscription renewed. How do I stop my itunes match subscription from auto-renewing. I'm in my account info and can't figure out to stop it from renewing.

To turn off iTunes Match renewal, from here :
Open the latest version of iTunes.
Choose Store > Sign In.
Enter your Apple ID and password, and click Sign In.
Choose Store > View My Account. You may be asked to re-enter your Apple ID password.
In the "iTunes in the Cloud" section, click Turn Off Auto-Renew to the right of iTunes Match.

How do I cancel a subscription that is "no longer available"?

I want to cancel an auto-renewing app subscription that seems impossible to cancel. The iTunes subscription management page has no interactive controls except for a “Done” button. The app developer can’t help me, Apple has not responded to my request for support, and e-mail from the iTunes store says the subscription will be renewed on 10/21/14. Details:
About two years ago, I downloaded the Magmic New York Times Crossword app from iTunes to my iPod. I started an annual subscription to that app, which automatically renews.
I lost my iPod, and I have no other Apple devices, so I want to cancel that subscription. Magmic support has been unable to explain how I can cancel my subscription. They advised me that I can cancel the subscription via the app on my Apple device. Because I no longer have any Apple devices or any way of running any Apple apps, this is impossible.
Magmic also advised me to use the App Store subscription management page for my account. Using iTunes on my Windows PC, I found the subscription management page for the crossword app. It shows that my “Daily and Archive Puzzle Subscription (The New York Times Crossword)” expires on Oct 21, 2014. The same page also includes this remark: “This subscription is no longer available.”
I don’t understand whether I need to do anything to prevent auto-renewal on Oct 21, 2014. The only interactive control on the subscription management page is a button labeled “Done”. I don’t see any way to cancel the subscription or stop auto-renewal on that page.
I think I read somewhere that Apple has stopped support for the Magmic crossword app, so I was assuming my subscription would *not* auto-renew anymore. However, just a few days ago, on Oct. 5, 2014, I received e-mail from the iTunes store informing me that my “subscription to The New York Times Crossword will automatically renew on 10/21/14 and you will be charged at that time.” Does Apple really plan to renew my subscription, and charge me, even though the iTunes app store says “this subscription is no longer available” and even though I have no devices on which I can use any Apple app? Is there any way I can cancel this subscription and stop auto-renewal?
I opened an Apple support case asking these questions on 10/7/14. I received an automatically generated reply that said an iTunes Store rep would respond within 24 hours. It’s been about 48 hours, and I have not received a reply. Can anyone clarify these issues for me?
