Since I put my music on the cloud, I cannot access it without downloading each song individually. I thought I was going to be able to stream from the cloud without downloading. Each download takes over a minute and I have 2000 songs! How can I just listen to my music again without downloading each and every song??? BTW, I purchased the iPhone 5S hoping that this issue would be solved with more memory - it's not. At this point I just want to remove the whole cloud-thing from my phone and go back to only having the songs on one device, no download required except the original iTunes purchase. How do I do this???
Welcome to the Apple Community.
It sounds as though you misunderstood the purpose of iTunes Match. You still need to have the content on the device to play it.
However it's effectively no different than before in that you keep your most played content on your phone but are able to download stuff you rarely play should you ever wish to.
There's no value whatsoever in iTunes Match unless your library doesn't fit on your phone. -

You can't upload your own music (e.g. copied from CDs) to the cloud on your phone, you can only do that via your computer's iTunes (and if you've subscribed to iTunes Match).
For iTunes store purchases you can delete it from the Music app (e.g. by swiping/dragging from right-to-left across it in the app), but whether it will then show in the cloud for redownloading depends upon what country that you are in, if it's still in the store, and if you've moved countries since buying it. If you've subscribed to iTunes Match and it's been matched, it should show in the cloud. -

You can re-download content purchased from the iTunes store (availability varies depending on location) using the purchased option from the Quick Links section in the top right corner of the iTunes homepage in your iTunes application on your computer. -

I don't remember my old iTunes account info but i have a new apple ID for my iphone and ipad. Is there a way to transfer songs from my iPod (old iPod video) onto the new iTunes on my new computer and use my new apple ID to sign into iTunes?

I have a new laptop (not Apple) and want to put my music from my iPod touch to laptop (Windows8). When I plug in my iPod it doesn't snyc. My iTunes library is mostly my CD's and a few iTunes purchases. The only things in my library are my purchases??? need help

I have turned two computers on to home sharing. I am now on this computer wanting to put my music on to this itunes and i know i need to find the other computer in the drop down menu from " Home Sharing " but that menu isnt there on the left?
If you have the horizontal menu bar showing (File, Edit, View,...), select View, then select Show Sidebar.
If the menu bar is not showing, dorp down the menu in the very upper left corner and select show menu bar, then follow steps above.

I just got got a new phone and want to put my music and pictures on it from my computer. My music is in in itunes and when I sync my phone the music does not come over. What's going on? I'm using itunes ver.11.0.5.5

You need to manually manage the music on his iPod. Manually managing your device allows you to choose just the songs and videos that you want to have with you.

i have an ipad 2 and want to put my dvds onto the ipad. i have downloaded handbrake and converted the file into mpeg4 file but i cannot get the file to open in itunes
I have the same problem , i've converted my videos to mp4 , by using different programmes and tried to open them in itunes but it didnt .
Some people suggested the following although it didnt help me , it might help you
One suggested to paste the videos that you want in automatically add to itune ( go to your music folder m then click on itunes , then itunes media , and you will find it there )
Others suggested to o to the ontrol panal , then programmes and features m then lick on quick time (. Or itunes) then Change then repair
If it didnt help. And you find another method m please let me know

You can't upload music to your iCloud. If you want to have music in the cloud and not on your phone you will need to use iTunes Match or iTunes in the Cloud
