I have a Numbers document in iCloud. Is there a way I can share that with someon else who also has an iCloud account?

Not with icloud. You can email it to them or use some other sharing service like Dropbox.

there is limitation on the file size for anonymous access. It's 10 MB if I remember correctly.

I have over 12,000 songs in my library and my son likes the same music, but recently his ipod touch is picking up the texts from my wife's and my phone? I was told the only way to stop this is by giving him his own icloud account which would mean he wouldn't have access to my music library. Any ideas?

He can still use your Apple ID for iTunes content, no issues. He just gets a separate ID for everything else.

Yeah no kidding.
I have a big paid up MobileMe account with tons of gallery stuff - this will all go away for me in July, and I'll miss it - it took no learning to use, and it was built into everything - just intuitive to post to a gallery password protect it, and send a link to a friend. Click click done!
It bothers me a lot when features I really enjoy and use are pulled in these half baked new apps and services.
iMovie used to be quite good, but the new one is very restrictive - it's a step backwards in some ways.
MobileMe was fine, but iCloud takes away the Gallery???? - another step backward.
We use some iPhones at work for shooting some videos and technical engineering photo's, and while it's pretty cool that the iPhone photo's get put on the photostream of "Jason's iMac", I don't have instant access, and I would really like to be able to do that. If it could be done, then I can stay at home and work sometimes and I can get the photo's automagically.
Apple - please fix this.

Sorry, you can't do that unless they are on your LAN. I don't know of any apps that will let you do it.

I understand the marketing behind encourage synchronizing accounts upon initial attempt to access the iCloud site from an iOS device. However, the issue I am having is when I want to use my SO's iPad "ruhl quick lyke" to access my e-mail and instead of opening iCloud.com and getting asked for my e-mail, I am asked to register iCloud on my device. All I want is a login screen. I do not want to sync my mail to his device, and I'm guessing he must not want to sync his apple ID as he has yet to do it. So my question is 1) is there a way for me to bypass the iPad_welcome site and login without syncing, and 2) if he choses to sync if I will be able to access my icloud from his device. Is there a way to convert a Word document with Red and Black into Spot colors in Acrobat X?

Customer sent us PDF files created in MS Word. Of course, Word creates CMYK versions of colors. I need the red text and black text converted into spot colors for 2 color output on press. Is there a way to do this? I saw another thread that said there is a Fixup in the Print Production/Preflight section of Acrobat X that has a convert to Spot, but I'm not seeing that. All I see is Convert to CMYK. I'm using Acrobat X 10.1.13 on OS X. Any help would be appreciated. He also sent the Word docs so I can drop that into InDesign and reformat the whole thing and fix the colors myself but if I can do it in Acrobat, that would be a lot quicker. Thanks!

Frequently in this scenario the red will be 100% of either magenta or yellow with 0% black. In these cases you can merely plate the Black & Magenta (or yellow) for press.
I've created a Preflight Fixup on occasion for these also.
An example shown - Note it requires the document is cmyk. MS Files will be rgb. You could create a Preflight looking for rgb colors.
With Fixup tab selected - Options > Create New Fixup > Type of Fixup - search for Spot in the field

Currently, it just imports the color number and we manually change the color ourselves, but is there a way to automatically populate the colors into the document?

I mean, is there any way to save a file you just edited, with a password or something that prevent other people to access that file without a password?
I am on iWork on trial version, to test if I change to iWork or keep Office 2008 for Mac.
I used to save a file on Office (PC version) with a security option, two passwords, one for read the file and other for editing the file.....is there any way to do that on Pages 09?

Yes:
+Inspector > Document > Document > Require password to open+
Just be aware that is not the same security as with MsWord. In other words they can not open each others secure documents.

I just sold my computer with my iTunes stuff on it (kept a backup on an external HD). My son and I share a Macbook that has his iTunes stuff on the internal HD. Until I get a new computer and re-load my iTunes library to it, can I create a separate account full of my stuff and vwhen I sync, I get my stuff and not his?

Just a word of caution: I have experimented recently with having 2 iTunes accounts on my MacBook Pro, in order to see if I could make a separate library with only lossless files. I encountered the following problems:
1) When I changed the library name for one library both were changed
2) When I changed the media location in one library both were changed.
I don't know if I did something wrong, but I would proceed carefully, and test the solution before putting it to use.

Sorry, but iCloud Storage is tied directly to the iCloud ID that it is linked to, and only to that ID.

Yes, definately. In iBooks Author go to File > Export and create an iBooks file (it will have .ibooks file extension). You can upload it to iTunes U Course Manager and therefore only make it available to your students.

Easiest way is to Print to PDF and Mail the PDF. Everyone can read a PDF and it's read only for all practical purposes.

Can I share a Reminders list with someone else through iCloud?

I am wondering if I can create shared lists with my wife (separate iTunes account) in Reminders on iPhone/iPad that we can instantly update through iCloud. We're essentially talking about grocery lists and the like. (Yes, I know there are grocery apps out there but that's not exclusively what we're trying to do). We both have iOS 6 or higher. I have found a few posts related to this question but it appears as though the sharing functionality might have been lost with a recent iOS upgrade. Not sure though. Could anybody help?
