HT4943 Subscribe to Wired, unable to read content

hi i have a wired monthly subscription from the australian itunes store - I pay $1.99 per month for this.
At any time of the month the correct Wired edition appears in newsstand - however I only get an option to buy or subscribe and the wired log in / password reset prompts for my email and display name.Please help

Having now looked at the feed in FeedValidator, I know it says it's valid, but there are a number of oddities in the 'recommendations', mostly bits of HTML inside various tags, and I wouldn't be a bit surprised if these were choking iTunes. Presumaby these have been added by Feedburner? - anyway, I should try to remove them and see if the feed is accepted then.

Anytime random strange behavior or sluggishness creeps in, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the back cover and pull out the battery. Wait about a minute then replace the battery and cover. Power up and wait patiently through the long reboot -- ~5 minutes. See if things have returned to good operation. Like all computing devices, BB's suffer from memory leaks and such...with a hard reboot being the best cure.

Itunes 11.1.4.62 unable to read content and need to restore iphone. Please help !

Yesterday I had update itunes to 11.1.4.62, I try to sync my iphone 5(ios 7), it unable to read the content from my device and ask me to restore. I don't want to restore while I not yet back up everything. Any helps ? Thanks.

Try a more recent version of my advice. The "for older video cards version" may work when the default version doesn't.

The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down the page in case one of them applies.
The further information area has direct links to the current and recent builds in case you have problems downloading, need to revert to an older version or want to try the iTunes for Windows (64-bit - for older video cards) release as a workaround for installation or performance issues, or compatibility with QuickTime or third party software.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there are also links to backup and recovery advice should it be needed.

N8 - CONTACT : Unable to read content of NOTE with...

I had highlighted this issue to Nokia many times from the time I had 5800 and now N8. In CONTACT, it is showing details of information in sync from Microsoft Outlook 2010 but when comes to NOTE, it does not display the complete detail at all. When I select NOTE tab, it will immediately go to edit mode and then this will create an error to which you can accidently delete the content written in NOTE.
Can anyone inform how to overcome this issue or someone at Nokia Software Development take notice of this please !

Emails stored in many folders, but unable to open one folder - freezes unable to read contents. Other folders ok. Have removed .msg files but no difference.e

Hi, I'm new here and having a problem with my Thunderbird, so wondered if you could please help me?
Within Thunderbird I have many folders created in my left pane for the storage of business mail relevant to my work, which I need to keep for my customer records on a long term basis, so that i have all the info of what has been discussed. The total file of Thunderbird is - 819,717kb in size when backed up.
This has been fine until recently, when after trying to open one folder it is mostly frozen, on one occassion the folder opened but showed the lines of mail but no subjects, writing or dates to identify each line.
I have tried going into properties to repair the file, but that freezes too. I have also looked into users/'relevant folder'/AppData/Roaming/Thunderbird/Profiles/'relevant file' and removed the .msf files - but this has made no difference at all.
If someone has any ideas this would be appreciated.

If they are 72 character they are probably not corruption.

Create a new folder and select it.
Point the import export tools as the file through import of an MBOX file (that is it's file type) and see if it can import from the file. There is more than one type of MBOX file and the import tools appear to read through some issues Thunderbird can not.
The Import Export tools appear on the Tools menu (alt+T) once installed

Unable to read contents of SOA server in jDeveloper

I am trying to add a new Application Server resource in jDeveloper.
I have done so on one machine without problems
Windows XP

On a second machine I enter the identical information and the test connection gives me nothing but happiness but when I try to expand "SOA" I get nothing

Both installations connect to and work well with an SOA installation in a Windows platform.
The Windows XP installation connects to and works well with an SOA installation on and Exoloig/Linux platform
The installation on the Windows 7 platform is having trouble with the Exologic/Linux platform

Reading contents of a BLOB datatype having more than 4000 characters.

I am unable to read contents of a column having BLOB datatype.I tried using ult_raw.cast_varchar2(Col_name) procedure,but since varchar2 has a size limit of 4000 bytes,complete contents are not visible.
Pl. suggest some way to view the contents.

In the link that you mentioned a procedure is used that gets the length first then loops through if length is greater than 32760.
I mean to say can user get the output in a single SQL query e.g.
select utl_raw.cast_to_varchar2(column_name) from table_name;something like this for bytes greater than 4000 bytes.

ITunes not reading contents from iPhone on MacBook

Hi, new year greetings !! New year new problem with my apple environment.
1)This is the sequence if events. I had downloaded few music podcasts on my iTunes through my MacBook.
2)When I try To sync the podcast it to my iPhone, it fails, does not copy but gives no error message
3)Some one tells me about transferring podcasts from MacBook to iPhone using third party software.
4) I download the software and started using it.
5)After 5 minutes figured out it was no use so I uninstalled the software
6)i plugged my iPhone to my mac immediately after and iTunes pops this message "iTunes is unable to read contents of this iPhone, goto summary tab in iPhone preferences and click Restore to restore this phone to factory setting"
This has never happened before, it happened after using the software which I have already uninstalled.
Pls help, what am I to do..
And my initial problem how do I copy the podcasts to my iPhone ??

Same thing just happened to me. iPhone synced successfully yesterday, but now iTunes wants me to restore the factory settings on my iPhone. Not a cable problem, as I have tried two different USB cables.
What's more, this is not the only iTunes problem of the morning. I was trying to use my iPod (not iPhone) to move my Music library to my son's computer. An error message popped up that my computer (not his) was not authorized to play iTunes purchases, and all purchases would be deleted from my iPod unless I authorized my computer. Even though this computer has been authorized for years, I tried to authorize it as instructed -- only to repeatedly get an error message (-42408), which is apparently a common problem these days.
So I thought, let's see if the iPhone gets the same authorization problem when synced. Well, that didn't work out too well.....
Not too happy with Apple at the moment. What should have been a simple and quick process has now turned into a time-consuming nightmare of multiple problems affecting multiple devices, and apparently these problems are common.

Hi. I've been trying to rip wavs with grip but it was unable to locate any audio cd even though I could explore it from my desktop (xfce 4.10) and I am part of the optical group. Because of this, I tried running cdparanoia from the terminal.
Running the next command: cdparanoia -vsQ displays the next warning:

if I try to listen a track from an external application like mplayer it won't play any audio but if I manually locate the audio and choose them an application to play, they will. Also, the hardware itself is functional since I ripped music from a debian squeeze (dvd) installation.
Finally If it's useful, I used gvfs and exec ck-launch-session dbus-launch startxfce4 in my .xinitrc to mount usb and other devices automatically

You removed all mailboxes (.mbox files) located within this problem account named folder at Home > Library > Mail and the same occurs when re-launching Mail?
The TableofContents file is a package file for a .mbox so it is hidden.
I'm not sure how you removed all mailboxes for this account but quit Mail first and using the Finder, go to Home > Library > Mail > this POP account named folder (named by the user name and incoming mail server for the account). Move the account named folder to the Desktop.
Launch Mail and if it launches successfully without locking up and quitting, a new account named folder will be created automatically by Mail within the account named folder.
All email clients have limits and the recommended size limit for a Jaguar or Panther mailbox is 1GB and for Tiger Mail, 2GB.
An "overstuffed" mailbox issue can occur at any mailbox size (which means the mailbox has some corruption and/or is over the recommended size limit) but is more likely to occur depending on the number and size of message attachments contained in a mailbox and especially as a Jaguar or Panther mailbox approaches or exceeds 1GB in size.
Since an account's Inbox mailbox is usually the most active mailbox, it is not a good idea to use an account's Inbox mailbox as the final storage location for all received messages not deleted.

Help! Content generation error. [Error: Unable to read JPEG.]

Hey all -
Havben't seen this one in the forums. I'm importing an article into an existing folio. The processing status bar goes to the end, but before upload starts, I get this error:
Content generation error.
[Error: Unable to read JPEG.]
Any idea how to troubleshoot this? I'm up against a hard deadline and really need to get this worked out. Thanks!

In that case it would be good, if the error message could be more specific; i.e. telling the name(s) of the JPEG images.
However, you could check all placed JPEG images, if they can be opened with PhotoShop.

Some of the content unable to read by PC user...how to solve this problem?

My website have no problem at all for all the Mac user no matter reading from Safari or Firefox.But some contents are not able to read by PC user no matter ie or firefox browser...why and how to solve it?
E.G:~
I've added 1 GIF file and 2 .swf file via HTML snippet on my first page. the GIF file have no problem for PC user but some .swf file might not able to read but some pc user OK for that.And i've put a Text (text box) on 1 of the .swf , PC user unable to read the text at all and only a ble to saw the .swf background!!But Mac user totally no problem!!
regarding to the issue above, any solution or idea?
