As per above, I am searching for a way to save camera roll videos and pictures to my PC computer or external hard drive as my iPad is full. If I need to I would also need to import them back on my iPad in future.

Once the photos are on your computer, you can place them into folders that you can sync back to the iPad or just use the WiFi apps to transfer the photos back to the iPad.

Sorry but your iPhoto library is not on an iPad or iPod - you may have photos there (most likely low resolution copies) but not an iPhoto library - dying computers (along with software and human errors) are why you always must have a backup - now is the time to load it

Where are the videos?
If WhatsApp supports sending videos from the Camera Roll only and that is your only option, that is it.

Photos that were synced from your computer using iTunes can only be deleted by de-selecting them from the folder from where they were synced - and then re-syncing.
Connect the iPad to the PC and launch iTunes.
Click on the iPad name on the left side under devices.
Click on the Photos Tab on the right.
If you want to remove all of the Photos - uncheck the Sync Photos from Heading
Click on Apply in the lower right corner of iTunes
If you are using iTunes 11 - this will be helpful, Setting up syncing in Windows.

How can I transfer video from an iPad managed with Configurator?

We are using Apple Configurator to supervise and manage iPads at our school. If an iPad is assigned to a user, how can we transfer the video from the iPad (either the Camera Roll or iMovie app) to a Computer so the video can be saved to the user's network folder and then played on the classroom SmartBoard. I do have a video adapter to connect the iPad to the Smartboard, but there will be times when we just want to save the video file in a user's folder. When I connect the iPad to the MacBook Pro which we use to run Configurator, the iPad does not show up in iTunes. If I 'check-in' the iPad, will it transfer the video, and if so how/where?

Thank you. We use Dropbox as well and discovered how easy it is to sync the Camera Roll from the iPad to a Dropbox account.
I also found out that videos & pics can be transferred using iPhoto on the computer where the iPads are synced. I've tried both options and they both work well.

I had hope that Apple had decided to make the camera connection kit a two-way device. I will be taking videos with my iPad 2 and did not want to take a chance of having my MacBook Pro stolen. So, I will be taking an old Sony notebook with Windows XP Media Center Edition. using the Windows XP Scanner and Camera Wizard have proved extremely useful. Since the iPad 2 and the iPod Touch are wireless, it would have been nice to have a way of transfering videos from my iPad 2 to a wireless external HD without being connected to the internet. In the future, I hope Apple will consider enabling uploading and downloaded with the iPad 2 with simplicity. I have a 10 megapixle photo camera and a Panasonic video camera with which I can change out SD cards. I never imagined that I would need more memory for my devices and this is probably a one-time need. I have an iPod Touch, and Ipad 2, a MacBook Pro, and a new iMac with 21" screen. I have been encouraging people to change from Windows products to Apple products. Apple knows there are things that many customers are searching for and will look out for their customers. Ive been trying to do this for a long time, and have looked throughout this forum but cant find an answer. All I want to do is be able to record video from the built in camera to my external harddrive. Photobooth lets you record it but not to an external HD, and I cant find a way to do it with the new iMovie either. There has to be a way or a progarm that lets you do something this simple, but I cant find it. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I just got the Apple TV 3rd Gen so I could stream from my IPAD to the TV in my gym in order to stream some of my workout videos. I got the Apple TV set up and connected to the television (HDMI) and to my WIFI and my Apple account etc. however, I can't get it to find my Mac Mini, Ipad or IPhone 5, all of which are set up for home sharing on the same network and all of which just updated the other day. I can't find the Airplay on my devices other than the Apple TV. When I try to connect using Bluetooth, my Mac Mini sees the Apple TV and attempts to pair but the Apple TV just spins and searches contionuosly. My ITunes syncs correctly with my phone and Mac Mini and I can't find any issues there.
Any ideas how to get this working?

A buddy gave me some videos from his macbook and i've got a PC. I gave him my external and he put them on there when i moved them from the external to my pc's hard drive and tried to play in itunes it wouldn't let me. It gave me this message and took me to download xvid. I tried xvid but it didn't seem to work. I'm trying to scour the internet trying to find a converter to be able to play them. Why is it when i gave him some videos i have it went right through to his macbook? He was able to open with no problem? Can someone please give me a program that will convert and allow me to ultimately place them on my iPhone please.

The only way you can achieve this is by starting up the MacBook in TD mode, with the relevant disc in the Optical drive. You then have to connect the MacBook to a Tiger capable PPC based Mac, attach the external drive to the PPC based Mac and boot the PPC based Mac holding down the option key to access the Startup Manager. Then choose the OS DVD as the startup disc on the PPC based Mac (much as I mentioned in your thread in the iMac G5 forum)
Of course, if you have a normally operating PPC based mac you can simply use it instead, without the need for the macBook at all! This trick is only useful to re-install an OS if the optical drive in the PPC based mac isn't working, but everything else is for example.
In your case with your imac G5, though, I think you have a more serious issue, and simply getting an external drive with the right PPC OS on it isn't going to help you until it is resolved.

I bought Dreamweaver CC. I am trying to put a flash button in Dreamweaver that will like to another web site.
The problem I am running into is when I try to save the flash button into my computer's Dreamweaver folder,
I get a message saying "Contact your Administrator" because it won't save in that location.
I know that I need to save it in the Dreamweaver folder so it has the same path so the flash button with a link will work.
How do I save a file I want to put in a Dreamweaver page into my Dreamweaver CC folder? I keep getting that

Honestly, you don't.
DW is meant to be used with an individual "Local Root Folder" for each site you create with it. You should never have a reason to save into the DW program folders. Take a minute to go over creating a Site Definition in DW...
