There is no backdoor passcode. If there was then the passcode would be poor security feature.
Yu have to connect the iPod to its syncing computer and restore via iTunes.
If you connect to a different computer you will have to place the iPod in Recovery mode and then restore via iTunes.
A restore will erase the iPod.

Start here, change your country if necessary and go to manage your account.
Also check your Mail rules and filtering, the verification mail may be going to a junk folder or even being deleted altogether. You may also wish to contact your mail provider to see if their spam filters are removing the email before it gets to you. -

My daughter downloaded a bunch of apps and I need to know how to get them reversed. I have not received any email receipts, but the charges have shown up on my bank account. This has all happened within the last couple of hours. I have tried numerous times to "report a problem" but am not having any success. Keeps redirecting me to support. My hard drive crashed and I restored my computer with my daughter's hard drive (her battery was dead) and I want to install my personal itunes on the new hard drive. I was unable to deauthorize the original computer and I do not know how to reinstall my personal itunes. Can someone help me with this?
Thank you.Without a backup of your "crashed" HD you will have to download your iTunes purchases again. Make sure your restored computer is running the latest version of iTunes.
Here is the procedure for your reference.
On your restored computer, launch iTunes. Click on iTunes Store on the left
On the right you will see this
"Sign in" using the Apple ID used to purchase your songs, then click on "Purchased" (with the orange blob)
On the summary page that appears select the tab "Not on This Computer" on the right.
On the list that appears, select what you want and then click the "Download" button.
When you want to play your newly downloaded music, you will have to "authorize" it. Don't worry about the lost HD until enough of your computers crash that you reach the limit of 5. Then you can "deauthorize all" and re-authorize as necessary.

But when i open up Firefox, it does bring me to the firefox start up page, but if I click for a new tab it brings me to Search Yahoo
Firefox's behavior is to open a blank page when you open a new tab. Your issue is most likely caused by one of the add-ons you have. Please see here: [[Troubleshooting extensions and themes]]

I assume you say "no internet" access because of no browser.
This terminal command will download Safari Version 5.0.5 to your home folder from terminal.app ( no browser) copy and paste:

When I merged my calendar to iCloud all of my events that weren't repeated disappears and all the other events messed up. Is there a way to fix this, preferably not using itunes on the computer. Thank you!
Synced photos can't be deleted directly on the device - instead they are deleted by moving/removing/de-selecting them from where they were synced from on your computer and then re-syncing.

Laptop crashed need to know how to get my purchases back
My computer crashed and I need to know how to get my purchases back. To make matters even better, the media on my phone was deleted even though it was checked off not to sync it. I absoloutely hate itunes with a passion and every day it seems to do something else....this being the most maddening thing I have encountered so far.
Does anyone know how I can get my music back? Or does apple pretty much have my money and I have nothing to show for it?It is basic to maintain a backup.
