That might well mean the file is corrupt or conveivably you could even be getting a file that does not correspond to the official version. I suggest you have a cup of coffee and try again in a while.

I have the same problem, but discovered I can 'gift' itunes. Have you tried rebooting for the Mac and iPod to see if that helps? To reset the iPod, press and hold both the Select/Center and Menu buttons together long enough for the Apple logo to appear.
It wouldn't hurt to also try plugging the iPod into another USB port and use a different USB sync cable.

You can license the trial version software with your Adobe ID and activate the software.
The subscription is linked to your Adobe ID.

I'm trying to transfer the files from my ipod touch to my new computer itunes keeps telling me that all the apps and music won't be transferred that the computer is authorized. Then it brings up a previous apple id which is no longer valid.

I'm trying to transfer the files from my Ipod touch to my new computer. It is saying that not all of the files will be transferred because the computer isn't authorized. I have authorized it several times but it keeps bring up a previous apple id that I had but when I try to log in using that id it tells be it is no longer vailid and then it stops and won't let me transfer any files. The computer has to be authorized for the account that purcchased the media.
What error message are you getting when you try to lauthorize the computer for that account?

The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down page in case one of them applies.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.
