Yes. Just make sure to deactivate the license on both systems using Apple menu --> Deactivate while one of the suite programs is running.

I share my iTunes accont with my kids. Many of the songs that they purchase, I do not want in my iphone Library, and I don't want them to play when I have my phone on shuffle. How an I remove unwanted songs from my phone library withot affecting their devices?

These are the downsides of a shared library because if you delete the song from your library it will get also automatically  deleted from your kids library. If you want to proceed then please follow this guide: https://support.apple.com/kb/HT4915

Right-click on your main iTunes folder and click Properties, then go to the Security tab and click Advanced. If necessary grant your account and SYSTEM full control of this folder, subfolders and files, then tick the option to replace permissions on child objects which will repair permissions throughout the library. This is the XP dialog but Windows 7 shouldn't be too different.
If it won't let you change the permissions use the Owner tab to take ownneship from an account with administror privileges.

my iphone 6 plus after updating to IOS 8.2 seems to have a problem with the touch id witch doesn't work neither in home unlock nor in app store and when i'm trying to add a new fingerprint it says ''failed unable to complete touch id setup. Please go back and try again'' . • When connecting to iTunes advised that the IPOD is corrupted and needs to be restored to factory settings.  I executed this procedure, but after reconnecting it again identifies that it is corrupted and needs to be restored.  Repeating did not resolve.

When connecting to iTunes, the system responds that the Ipod id corrupted and needs to have the factory settings restored.  Factory settings are successfully installed, but response still identifies that the Ipod is corruped.  Several repeats stil give the same result.  Any other suggestions ?

    Hello CoulntThinkOfAUser,
If you purchased the songs from the itunes store you wouldn't really loose anything. This is how to recover all of your previous purchases.
    How to download past purchases.
    Hope this helps.

i have no idea why it wont activate just says no sim inserted yet my sim works fine in my partners 3gs so not a faulty sim and phone was working fantastic before i updated the os.
i have no idea what a shsh backup is.
Is there a way i can get the imei number up so i can go and have a rant at orange to see why it wont activate even though it is now a sim free phone or am i best of going to apple store( which i really dont want to do as it cost me best part of £120 for them to do my screen on my ipod touch lol they swapped it no fixing involved)

  • My Iphone 5 screen is cracked and I need to restore to factory settings and wipe all content.  How do I do that?

My Iphone 5 has a screen that is cracked and cannot be read.  I need to restore the factory settings to send it back to the warranty company.  Please tell me how to do that through Itunes

    Restore your iOS device
Connect your iOS device to your computer using the cable that came with it.
Select your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch when it appears in iTunes. In the Summary pane, click the Restore button for your device.
Click Restore again to confirm that you want to restore your device to factory settings and delete all data and content. iTunes will download the iOS software file and restore your iOS device.
After your iOS device is restored to factory settings, it will restart, and you’ll see the "Slide to set up” welcome screen. Follow the steps in the iOS Setup Assistant. You can set up your device as new or using a previous backup. If your iOS device has cellular service, it will activate after you restore. your welcome

I recently restored my 2009 macbook to factory settings and now its stuck on the welcome screen where u choose your country. My trackpad allows me to move the arrow around but when I tap on it to select continue it does nothing at all. The only thing else it will allow me to do is go thru the voice over tutorial by pressing escape. Please help me fix this I need to use my computer.

    Hi, teezbreezy64.
I found a couple of resources to help troubleshoot the issue you are experiencing. The first is this article named Intel-based Mac notebooks: Troubleshooting unresponsive trackpad issues found here http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1248.
Try disconnecting the MagSafe connector from the computer and check the trackpad function. If the trackpad becomes responsive again, improper grounding may be the issue.
If a two-prong AC plug is being used with the power adapter, try using the three-prong power cable that shipped with your computer and plug it into a grounded outlet.
If the issue persists, make sure the third prong is present and do not use an adapter to enable the three-prong adapter to be used in a two-prong outlet. Note that the ground in the three-prong outlet may not be connected. This is common in older homes or buildings with replaced outlets. In these situations, the three-prong power cable will not improve trackpad responsiveness.
If a grounded outlet is not available, rest your palm on the palm rest when using the trackpad. This should enable the trackpad to function properly.
If that does not resolve the issue then I recommend resetting the SMC on your computer. Here is an article on how to do that:
Intel-based Macs: Resetting the System Management Controller (SMC)

Now the phone is no longer recognised as personalised, just as iphone. Also  i cannot restore from backup, only restore factory settings and i am warned that I will lose all data. • My macbook pro hard drive died.  I only have a windows hard drive and an old powerbook G4 which of course you can't use to create a boot disk for my macbook.  How can I solve this?

I can't get app store on my old power book to download OS X,  My macbook pro hard drive died and all I have is a windows hard drive, still has windows os  on it, a 500 Gb USB drive and this power book.  How can I get my macbook back up without spending money?  Thanks

And what happens if the OPs Mac is of a newer version that came with a version of Snow Leopard above the 10.6.3 version that is on that Retail, meant for Upgrade, disc? Like if it came with 10.6.4/.5/.6/.7? That disc you linked to would not work.
He needs to contact Apple and get a replacement set of Original System Reinstall Discs. That is the only way he can be assured it will work and he would also get the iLife apps which he wouldn't buying that DVD disc you linked to.
    dwb wrote:
The Snow Leopard DVD is $20 from Apple. You'll just have to wait a few days. BTW this is a full installer that works with any model computer that can run SL. Apple used to ship recovery/installation disks that were tied to specific computer models so that a 15" MBP installer disk coudn't be used on a 13" MBP computer. So you need either full installer or the recovery disks for your specific model.
And BTW, I have a 2009 13" MBP w/8GB RAM that is running Mavericks. With a 5400 RPM drive I used to experience a bit of beach balling (think hour glassing) but an SSD has given it new life. It feels now slower than the newest MBPs - it obviously benchmarks considerably slower but in everyday use it doesn't feel like a 4 1/2 year old computer at all.
