HT4972 I have pictures on my iPhone and they aren't updating on iPad - why?
Ihave tried synching. Wifi is on, icloud is on and still not updating to other devices. I have no idea what operating system I have - totally not tech savvy. Help please. Thx!
Are there pictures in your photo stream folder on your phone?

When I take a picture with my IPhone and send it to my home computer (HP Windows) why does the picture turn out sideways or upside down?
OK, here's the explanation. When you take a picture, the iPhone knows what orientation it is in (portrait, landscape, etc.) and adds that information to the picture's EXIF data so it knows which side is up. Apple devices can decode this information and show the picture right side up when it is viewed. However, Windows computers cannot do this. They are not capable of decoding the orientation information added by the iPhone, so they are displayed in a default orientation (which may not be right side up).
This only happens on Windows machines, and unfortunately there is nothing you can do about it, except use the rotation buttons in Windows picture view to orient the photo correctly. -

I means you have a 2G iPod. Thoe can only go to iOS 4.2.1.

I have kept my phone up to date and I don't have iMessage on my phone? My iTunes says I have the 5.01 software so why do I still not have iMessage?
I was about a second away from posting this the other day, dont worry it wasnt only you who expected to either see an app, or have to activate it in some way.

Can I back up my iPhone 4S to my ipad 3 (64 gb)? I do not have a computer running Mountain Lion. Our desktop still runs Tiger, so I purchased the 3rd generation iPad with 64 gb thinking it had had plenty of room to backup my iPhone photos. I used a camera connection kit and transferred about 1100 old photos from my camera roll on my iPhone to my ipad. I then deleted pictures from my iPhone and now my camera roll has only 357 photos. However, in the Settings, under "About" it says I have 2147 photos. Why? I only have a total of 216 photos in all my albums. However, now I don't have enough space in iCloud to backup either device. Why not? Any help, any advice, appreciated please! I spent a long time on the phone with Apple today and they couldn't solve the problem.

iCloud only give so much space for free storage, then if you exceed the limit of 5gb you have to pay for additional storage. -
Is it possible to share an iPad and both have iCloud set up so fx All my pictures from my iPhone and All my boyfriends photos from his iPhone both get onto the same iPad via iCloud ?

Just deleted a lot of pictures on my iphone and still some how have 4.2gb I only have 628 photos no extra albums am I missing something here?
iCloud backup automatically saves your pictures, but you only get 5GB. What i'd reccomend is that you put those pics on flickr or Facebook, so you can access them anywhere, and i know at least facebook has auto upload as an option, so that any time you take a picture, it saves it to that.
Goals: Choose FB, Dropbox, Picasa, or Flickr, then enable auto upload.
In settings-icloud-storage and backup, deselect camera roll.
End result: Photos available anywhere, backed up safely, and your phone backs up. -
By updating to IOS 6.1 something went wrong. The rsult is that I have picture of USB cable and Itunes on my Iphone and the PC does not recognize it. What can I do ? Pøease Help. My Iphone is dead !

When I take a picture with my iPhone and then forward the picture to an emaila ddress (regardless of picture size) it will not send the email with the pciture enclosed - any thoughts on how to fix ?????
Thanks -The collum to the right listed similar problems. The solution appears to be that under smtp outgoing settings the user name and password are listed as optional. I have not plugged in the information and it seems to be working. However from my office it always allowed the relaying. The true test will be when I try to respond later from the road.

I have pictures on my iphone 4 that are in my photo stream, that have not downloaded to my photo stream in the cloud. How can I get them to download?
Welcome to the Apple Community.
Photostream in the cloud only keeps photos from the last 30 days (subject to a 1,000 photo limit). When photostream syncs the photos to your device they will stay there until deleted, which means you may well have more photos in your photostream album on your device than there are in photostream in the cloud.
The consequence of this is that if you turn photostream off and on again on your device, it will only be populated with photos from the last 30 days, which may not be all the photos that were previously in the photostream album on that device. -
Multiple calendars have appeared on my Iphone and I am unable to sync all of them to my PC, running Windows 7 and Office 2010. How can I sync all the calendars to my PC, or, alternatively, merge the calendars on the Iphone so there is only one calendar to sync?
If the hard drive that crashed is the one that stored the itunes library, be sure to restore the library from Time Machine (mac) or whatever backup you use on windows. That will get back your music. I suspect that the replacement drive has an empty itunes library and thus, perhaps, the itunes match used that to sync to its servers.
Try posting in the iTunes Match forum, you'll probably find more knowledgeable folks there.

I have an iMac, an iPhone, and a MacBook Pro. My full iTunes library is on the iMac and iPhone, but only a handful of songs are on my MacBook. They are all associated with the same Apple ID. When I try to sync, I get a warning message stating that I will lose songs on my phone which aren't on the laptop. How transfer my music from my phone to the laptop?

I would do a transfer of purchases from the phone and not sync. If you sync then it will want to start over and sync music that is on the MacBook Pro. I`d like to know how can i insert documents, xls/doc/pdf into iCloud and have them in my iPhone and my iPad. I just found one way, through ibooks, but i think it isn't a practical option.

Bluetooth grayed out in preferences
