HT4972 My ipod touch 5th generation is stuck on the apple logo bar that hasnt loaded how do i get it off ?

i need help !

- There is no 5G iPod touch. The current one is still the 4G iPod.
- Try here:
iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- If not successful and you can't turn the iPod completely off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for at least an hour try again.
- Time for an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store.

Hey Edgar, how exactly did you do the updates? Are you running iTunes 11.2.2? And you iPod 5 is still running iOS 6.1.2 as your tag shows? or are you running iOS 7.1.1?  More info would be helpful. As Deggie asked, what was the error message, the more detailed the better. One more thing-- is this a Mac machine or a PC? Cheers.

  • My Ipod Touch 4th generation is stuck in the apple logo

    Hello,
I have an Ipod Touch (4th gen) but it doesn't get past the apple logo and if it does the screen becomes white but it doesn't do anything else. I tried to restore it through ITunes but that doesn't work either (always get an error). It's been like this for a while since everything I've tried so far doesn't work at all.
    Thank you in advance ^^

Any error messages or numbers given by iTunes?
If yes, check this article: Resolve iOS update and restore errors
Also try to connect in recovery mode to restore, explained here: If you can't update or restore your iOS device
If this does not work, your device has to be checked by Apple or an Authorized Apple Service Provider:

  • My iPod touch (4th gen is stuck on the apple logo when you first turn it on?

So, my iPod has been acting weird since I updated to iOS 5.1.1 It gets fully carged and dies in three minutes. Well now it gets stuck on the apple logo at startup. It does the apple logo and shuts off and goes to the apple logo again. It does this repeatedly. Is there a way to fix this? I've tried resetting it multiple times, delete all the apps, all the music.

  • IPod Nano 5th Gen is stuck on the Apple Logo, won't go into disk mode and won't connect to computer.

My iPod Nano 5th Generation won't turn on; I've held down "Menu" and the center button which makes the Apple logo come up, then it just stays on that. I've followed steps I've seen on here trying to get it into disk mode by holding down the "Play/Pause" button and the center button immediately after the Apple Logo appears but it doesn't respond to that at all. I've charged it and upgraded my iTunes but nothing seems to do anything to it. When I plug it into my computer there is nothing to say it's plugged in on iTunes or My computer or anything. It's driving me crazy and I'm hoping there's a way I can fix it without it having to be sent off.
    Any advice would be cracking!
    Thanks,
    Tilda

Did you ever get this resolved? I'm having the same problem and can't figure it out.

  • My ipod touch 4th gen is stuck on the apple logo

Ok i just got this on Christmas n been working fine...this is the first time the battery been so low and i threw it on the charger and its just turning on and off and staying at the apple logo screen dont no what to do......HELP ME PLEASE!

    1. Plug your iPod into your computer.
    2. Perform a hard reset by holding both the Home button and the Power/Sleep/Wake button until the screen goes black and shows the Apple logo. Release the buttons.
    3. Wait for 15 minutes. It could take less time. Your iPod will make a sound and will show the battery logo.

  • My iPod Touch 3rd Gen is stuck on the Apple Logo screen when starting up.

I've spent hours on this and it's driving me crazy. I've repeatedly tried going into recovery mode, DFU mode, and restoring (even using custom firmware) but it just won't work. Is there anything at all I can do to fix this?

  • My iPod Touch 4th generation is going to the Apple logo when I press iMessage. What's going on?

    The title already says it.

    Try:

least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
    - Restore from backup. See:

  • HT1430 Ipod touch (5th generation) w/ lines across the screen - now dead.

My son's Ipod touch (5th generation) had lines across the screen. I turned it off using the home + on/off button reset, but the apple never came back on. Now it seems to be dead. Not dropped, not completely drained, no water damage. Just dead. Any ideas?
I have also tried plugging it into my Macbook Pro, and iTunes does not find it.
    ITunes is up to date.

    Try:
    - Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
