HT4972 What app will disable the iPad 2 from mirroring with a VGA adapter?
Updated my iPad 2 to OS 5.1.1 and now the VGA adapter will not mirror. Are there any apps that will aslo disable the mirroring?
The iTunes and App store are slower than death at the moment, but there used to be a 'featured in the commercial' tab when you go to the App store via iTunes. I can't get there to confirm for some reason, but perhaps that could be a place to start looking.

The rapid usage of my cellular data and resulting drain on battery life has been a real issue since iOS6. If I disable cellular data, things improve dramatically. It would sure be nice to know who the culprit is. Any apps to help with this?
Thanks!Never heard of one - the sandboxed nature of iOS would make it impossible to build an app to do so, since apps are isolated from each other and each others data.
All you can do is the trial and error method.
A couple of iOS features to check though, are
Settings - General - About - Advertising - Limit Ad tracking = ON
Settings - General - About - Diagnostics and Usage - DON'T SEND (checked)
Settings - General - About - Date and Time - Time Zone = OFF (uses location services to check if you've crossed a time zone - unnecessary use of location services if you are not travelling outside of any wifi or cell coverage)
Settings - General - Restrictions - Location Services - System Services - all OFF (these involve transmitting location based data out, ie. from your device). -
An App to choose what app will activate the Nvidia graphics card.
The nvidia grahics card comes on when i use soundbooth. and google voice in gmail. but it doesnt come on when i use photoshop. I want to use it so that when i open photoshop the nvidia graphics come on. I have the gfxCardStatus but i dont feel like switching it everytime

For all people struggling with connecting their iPad to their router, constantly getting 'Incorrect Password' even though you have entered the correct one - this may be your solution as it just resolved my issue.
In your router settings online (usually found at 198.168.1.1) change your security from WPA2 or WEP to WPA. For my iPad it for some reason only accepts WPA but now it is running without problems. Let me know if this helps.

I am trying to sync photograpghs from my PC to my ipad but it is saying ITunes cannot sync apps to the ipad "user's ipad" because the apps installed on the ipad could not be determined. I have no idea what that means. Can anyone help?
I'm sorry about your loss.
Are you trying to recover data from this iPad, or to set it up as new (erase everything on it, and simply use the iPad as if it were brand new as your new iPad)?
If the latter, you can place the iPad into recovery mode as shown here. You may have to try this several times:

I'm pretty sure it's a bug in either iOS 6 or iTunes 10.7. I kept getting it until I quit iTunes and re-ran it again. I then started sync from the iPad itself.

This morningI tried to use the above dongle with an HDMI cable to watch a Hulu show on my flat screen. The picture was fine, but I didn't get any sound. I have the latest MBA 11". Instead, the sound continured to come from the MBA. Any ideas why? -

Thank youWifi is wifi (generally) and you should be able to take your american bought device (presuming that's what you mean) to europe and get it online.
The biggest issue you may face is to make sure you have a plug adapter. Your power brick is rated for world wide power variances you'll just need an adapter to make the plug fit eurpoean plugs. -

I'm trying to delet a free app I downloaded from the App Store on my iPad. How do I do this?
I first opened up the App Store on the iPad and tapped on the"Purchased" icon. However, I can't seem to find anway to delete it from there. Is there a way to do this? I also went to my iTunes on my computer and I was able to delete it from there. After I did that I plug the iPad into the computer to update it hoping that the update would remove it but it didn't. Any help here would be appreciated.
