Why has the iOS 5 update caused my data usage to increase so much?

I was wondering when the iOS 5.1 came out, not the new one that is out now. He did not say that downloading the upgrade caused the increase. He made it sound like new functions in the software caused it. Since Nov 2011 my data usage has increased from an average of around 30MB for the previous 7 months to an average of 136MB over the last 7 months. I have not changed the things that I do on my phone.

You can check for problems with the sessionstore.js and sessionstore.bak files in the Firefox profile folder that store session data.

Deleting sessionstore.js will cause App Tabs and Tab Groups and open and closed (undo) tabs to get lost and you will have to recreate them (make a note or bookmark them if possible).

My daughter has had her Razr for about 9 months now. About two weeks ago she picked up her phone in the morning on her way to school when she noticed two cracks, both starting at the camera lens. One goes completely to the bottom and the other goes sharply to the side. She has never dropped it and me and my husband went over it with a fine tooth comb. We looked under a magnifying glass and could no find any reason for the glass to crack. Not one ding, scratch or bang. Our daughter really takes good care of her stuff, but we still wanted to make sure before we sent it in for repairs. Well we did and we got a reply from Motorola with a picture of the cracks saying this was customer abuse and that it is not covered under warranty. Even though they did not find any physical damage to back it up. Well I e-mailed them back and told them I did a little research and found pages of people having the same problems. Well I did not hear from them until I received a notice from Fed Ex that they were sending the phone back. NOT FIXED!!! I went to look up why and guess what there is no case open any more for the phone. It has been wiped clean. I put in the RMA # it comes back not found, I put in the ID #, the SN# and all comes back not found. Yet a day earlier all the info was there. I know there is a lot more people like me and all of you, but they just don't want to be bothered so they pay to have it fix, just to have it do it again. Unless they have found the problem and only fixing it on a customer pay only set up. I am furious and will not be recommending this phone to anyone. And to think I was considering this phone for my next up grade! NOT!!!!

Whilst I don't have an answer, I hope a knowledge specialist does.I've seen numerous posts like this.After 10.2 update I lost library and haven't been able to actually connect my iphone to itunes for the upgrade. Each time I connect the iphone my system crashes. There was NOTHING wrong with my itunes or system until the point of update. There doesn't seem to be support, despite the extent of this problem. And, I downloaded and installed this update because there was a possible security issue; however, I have all automatic software update checks and downloads turned off, so i downloaded it manually as it was critical to install it as long as you are using the internet.

Hi,
I think you are trying to test the Hello world EJB example shipped with the product. As a first
step I would recomend you to go through every line of the document on deploying this application,
since, I too have experienced many errors while trying to deploy the sample applications, but on
following the documentation, I subsequently overcame all the errors and have been working with the
applications. So please follow the steps in documentation and let me know, if you still encounter any
issues.

It is important to understand that Mail uses TWO servers, a Receiving Server and a Sending Server.
When you create a new mail message, or reply to a message, the Sender server is shown in the message composition window like this:
That drop-down window allows you to select which of the Sending Servers you previously set up should be used.
In general, once you choose a Sending server, its choice will "stick" for all future replies to messages from that Receiving mailbox.

Either someone has installed a client side cert into Safari or the site in question has let their SSL cert expire. (not your fault). You could try using Firefox or Chrome instead.

Create a new folder and select it.
Point the import export tools as the file through import of an MBOX file (that is it's file type) and see if it can import from the file. There is more than one type of MBOX file and the import tools appear to read through some issues Thunderbird can not.
The Import Export tools appear on the Tools menu (alt+T) once installed

Why has my upgrade eligibility been pushed back?

I know I posted about this before, but it still baffles me. Right now I'm using a droid razr maxx HD which was bought around March of 2012. The site says my upgrade eligibility is for March of 2015. The really interesting thing is that I bought my mother a phone last November (much farther after my own phone) and hers is set right around the 2 year for an upgrade which is fine. Why then was my upgrade pushed back another year? Has this happened to anyone else?

I don't think you got your RAZR MAXX HD when you think you did.
That phone wasn't released until October of 2012. I'm thinking you got it March of 2013 which would put March of 2015 at your 2-year mark.
You should be able to go into My Verizon documents section and see the actual receipt for the phone with the date.

What causes cellular data usage to decrease if last reset has not changed? I reset every pay period cuz I do not have unlimited and was showing 125 mb sent/1.2g received. Now showing 98mb sent/980mb received. Last reset still shows same

I reset my cellular data usage every month at the beginning of my billing period so that I can keep track of how much data I am using thru out the month. I do not have the unlimited data plan and have gone over a few times. It's usually the last couple days of my billing cycle and I am charged $10 for an extra gig which I barely use 10% of before my usage is restarted for new billing cycle. FYI, they do not carry the remainder of the unused gig that you purchase for $10 which I disagree with. But have accepted. Lol Moving on.

Is cellular data used when I sync to iTunes on my home computer to load songs onto my iPhone from my iTunes library(songs that already exist)? 2. It is close to end of my billing cycle and I have been keeping close eye. Earlier today it read around 180mb sent/1.2gb received. Now it reads 90mb sent/980 mb recieved. My last reset date reads the same as before. I don't know if my sync and music management had anything to do with the decrease but i didn't notice the decrease until after I had connected to iTunes and loaded music. I should also mention that a 700mb app automatically loaded itself to my phone during the sync process. Is cellular data used at all during any kind of sync /iPhone/iTunes management? Is the cellular data usage reading under iPhone settings a reliable source to keep track of monthly data usage? Guess turned out to be more than two questions but all related. 1) No.
2) It does provide an estimated usage, but it's not accurate. For accurate determination, you should check the remaining/used MBs from the carrier (most of the carriers provide this service for free).
