What have you tried?  Connect your iPad to the computer with
which you normally sync, open iTunes, click button to check
for updates and iTunes should handle the rest. If using a Windows
computer, you may need to temporarily disable your anti-virus and
firewall for the update to succeed. If you have any problem, please
post back with the exact wording of any error message and someone
will answer. Once you have updated to iOS 6, future updates can
be done over the air without having to connect to a computer (altho'
that way will still work).

    Did you try updating with the iPad directly?
    You need Wi-Fi connection and power supply from the wall socket.
    Or through the computer iTunes?
    If computer iTunes, make sure your anti-virus and firewall are off before you try.

    Are you using iTunes to update your iPad? ID you are running iOS. 4.3, you must use iTunes on a computer according to the instructions in the kb article that led you to this support site.
    If you are using iTunes and you are not having any success, try disabling your firewall and antivirus software when you try again. And please, by all means, provide some details. Don't be shy or keep us guessing. Just stating that you can't update your iPad doesn't help is to help you.

    I had the same issue on my iPhone5 with iOS 7.0.2 and I solved by doing the following
    1) Settings / iTunes&iStore
    2) Disable everything
    3) Tap on the Apple ID and sign out
    4) Turn Off and On again
    5) Open App Store
    6) Update Manually (like you did before iOS7)
    7) Re-activate again automatic updates

    take my advice: there r many issues with ios 6! wait 4 ios 6.1
    however if u want 2 download it now, downloadthe firmware from ur browser (ggl chrome or mozilla,) then ggo 2 itunes, connect ur iphone & hold shift & press update & select the firmware hope that helps gd luck

    What happens when you try to download it ?
    You can't download or sync the current version of the app, it's not compatible with iOS 6.1.6.
    If you are trying to download it directly on your device then have you previously downloaded the app i.e. is it in your purchase history ? If not then try downloading the current version on your computer's iTunes so that the app is in your purchase history. Then on your device go to the Purchased tab in the App Store app and you should be able to download an older compatible version of it
