while updating my iphone 3g to latest ios version it has now stopped working . The setup comes but when i activate it after selecting language and country it does not respond to either itumes on my laptop or wi-fi.

after updating my iphoto and my whole library, Whenever i open an imported iphone video i get this message
"A necessary data reference could not be resolved."
Note: only the old iPhone video before updating is not working

The first time I used Migration Assistant. The second time I copied all the videos from the old computer to the new one by way of an external hard drive. Still not playing.
Interestingly...when I, on a hunch, re-copied some of the videos back unto the old computer, it couldn't play them (it can still play the original ones, though).
So it seems that iPhoto 11 is doing something to them, though I only get the error message ("A necessary data reference could not be resolved.") on 11. On iPhoto 09, it just simply refuses to play them.

I then try to use iTunes but it says can not update and need to be restored.
I was trying to do a full restore from manufacturer setting but also says there was an error in restoring your iPhone.
What should i do now?

Activating Facetime and Imessages on your phone requires the ability to send SMS messages and depending upon where you are that might be an international SMS. Check with your carrier to see if your plan supports sending of international SMS messages. If you are having trouble activating Facetime or Imessages turn them both off on your device and reset the device (Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the home button together until the apple logo appears (ignore the ON/OFF slider) then let both buttons go and wait for device to restart (no data will be lost)). Wait for the device to restart and wait a minute and turn Facetime and imessage back on and wait for activation. If that does not fix things read the following articles:

I had the same problem due to the Fire Wire port. Apple tested it told me it is OK!, I tried a new cable, and have tested both ports on my back up device. I find it strange that as soon as I installed Mavericks. The drive does work using USB. For some prerecorded audio files the Transpose slider will not work reliably. I found no clear pattern, when it does and when not.
If all fails, create a loop from the audio file. Select the region in the track and use the command "File: Add region to Loop library".
Set the current key and tempo, name the loop, and save the loop.
Now add it from the loop browser to a new track and delete your old track. The search field in the Loop browser will help you to find the loop quickly.
You will be able to transpose the sample as described above, like a regular loop.
For example - a audio file turned into a loop and transposed:
