HT4990 How come everytime I try to buy something or update something it says wrong security number

Everytime I try to update or buy a new app or even install an old one it says that my security password is wrong and that I have to verify with iTunes support what do I do?

Are you using iPhoto '11?
Perhaps the Preferences settings for your Print Products Store do not match your billing address - check the iPhoto Preferences "Advanced" tab > Print Products Store.
Also check the way you have entered your zip code or any number. Do not use blanks within a number.

If the amount of the purchase is close to $21.07, then you need to take into account taxes may be added.
If you go beyond the credit from a gift card the balance will be billed to your credit card account.

If you mean use the balance of the credit and you don't have enough to buy iTunes media, you will have to purchase and redeem another gift card to make up the difference.

They are telling you what the problem is; your payment method has been declined. They will not tell you specifically what apps you still owe for, but that's rather irrelevant.
If I went to my bank would thy be able to tell me what's wrong or will I need to contact Apple?
It depends on what the problem is. First, make sure that you're using one of the accepted cards. If you're sure you are, then I again would suggest you contact your credit card company, tell them that an on-line merchant is declining your card, and ask for assistance. If the credit card company can't or won't help, you can try contacting the iTunes Store, but my guess is that they'll tell you the same thing I'm telling you; contact your credit card company or try a different card. From what ive looked up on, the only way you can reset your security questions is by using your 'rescue email' thingy. But if you dont have the set up, then you just have to contact apple support.

If you are getting an 'invalid security code' message then is the address on your iTunes account exactly the same (format and spacing etc) as on your credit card bill : http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1646 ? If it is then you could try what it says at the bottom of that page :
If the issue persists, contact your credit card company and verify that they and any company they use to process credit card authorizations have the correct information on file.
