HT4990 Just curious about the app Cards

If I understand right, the cards app is by Apple and Apple or people contracted by Apple are fulfilling the orders.
If this is correct,I would like to know if Apple is ever going to offer the ability to include an iTunes gift card within a card?
I sure hope so, because I would love to be able to send a gift card and a birthday card with a simple click of my iPhone.

Sorry but no, it's not. If you need something more, you need to go with an external (Firewire or USB) audio device.

Hard to say since you don't say anything about your needs. Traktor of course recommends their own Audio 8 DJ, but if that doesn't meet your needs, perhaps someone else here can offer suggestions if you'll post back and describe what it is that you need that isn't covered by the built-in stereo out of Traktor's unit.

Just curious about the "next" iPod

So are there any rumors of a "new" iPod being released any time soon? Just wondering what other features, other than a built in radio, they could possibly add? Anyone know of when the next release will be?

Is there anyone from apple that is really monitoring this site? I saw a lot of issue but never saw from the admin of apple that answer there question or quiries? All i can see the user only reply on this thread. I hope there someone from apple who is answering our problems.
I have an issue with the sound of my iphone since i update it ios 6.1.2 and the sound just come and go. This is really getting me frustrated coz i'm not seeing any response from apple. You can't, all iTunes gift cards are country-specific, they can only be used in their country of issue - so to redeem a Japanese gift card you will need to be in Japan with a Japanese iTunes account and billing address. Can you send it back to your sister ?

Is there rules about the apps you download to your Droid?

so i was looking at alot of apps on youtube seeing what was available for droid phones and it got me curious about a couple of things that im hoping ya'll can tell me more about.
1) does it matter where you get ur apps? i know there is the droid app market but there seems to be other websites that say they are the app market or that they have apps for the droid. is the app market that goes with the phone the only you should be using for certified apps that you're supposed to put on your phone?
2) does a deffective app like lets a defective launch pro app currupts or does something bad on your phone, does that affect ur warranty on the phone or something?
3) do you always have to becareful about the apps you download or are they pretty safe and are easy to get rid of?

You should always be cautious when downloading apps. The biggest concern are free apps that are not affiliated with VZW, MOTO, or Droid. Basically watch what the app requests access to when you click to download it. If it's an online recipe book it shouldn't be asking to have control of phone dialer and system tools etc. However if you're downloading a battery manager, sure it will need access to your system tools. Just make sure it all adds up.
Apps are pretty easy to uninstall. Just go to your settings/applications/manage apps. Click on the desired app and then click uninstall. Also some apps can cause problems with your phone, if you experience issues after installing an app, try uninstalling it and see if it clears up.

Have to disagree here, Apple have not even announced an iphone 5, it is pointless to speculate that we will see one or not see one until Apple actually releases a statement. ios was built and tested on the iphone 4 so there will not be any slowdown or laggyness compared to a phone that has not been released yet.
If we are advising potential apple product buyers then we should not be putting them off buying a iphone 4 on speculations alone. Just because apple have for the last few years released an iphone every june/july does not mean then have to stick to this approach.
Apple have not issued any statement regarding an iphone 5, until this time it does not exist, only in heresay on the internet.
Any one looking to get an iphone 4, to you i would say waiting until ios 5 is released is a personal choice, no matter if you wait or not you will be able to update via itunes. One way or another in the future you will have to do an ios update via itunes whether this is the 5.0 software or 5,2,1.
Please note that Apple are very closed mouthed about new hardware releases and potentially a new iphone could be round the corner, however there is no evidence to suggerst this, i.e Apple have not even mentioned an iphone 5 this year anything you hear towards the contrary is media spin thus far and speculation.
ios 5 was built and tested to work seamlessly on iphone 4, the beta software released to developers is being tested on iphone 4. Please do not listen to people telling you that the iphone 4 will not run this ios as well as a phone that does not exist yet. When iphone 5 launches it will most likely have dual processors and not until its launch will the next gen apps start appearing.

The Yosemite upgrade very often damages existing Photoshop installations. Thank Apple for that.
You need to uninstall and re-install Photoshop, then apply all the Photoshop upgrades from scratch.

Curious about the MMS

I actually prefer pictures through email, but since i will be getting the MMS eventually, i was just curious about how the pictures are seen. I see in examples on apple's website that it appears in the text messaging field and its little. i am assuming you can make the picture bigger and save it as a bigger picture...yes? no?...i realize americans can't answer this but perhaps citizens of other countries that already have it can shed a light on it. silly question i know, but i'm at work and i'm bored

I removed the iPhone Text Message plan and added the regular 1500 Message plan via AT&T's website and I was only able to send a few text messages before it stopped working. It's funny how AT&T will purposely keep you from sending MMS messages despite the fact that the phone is capable of sending them. I mean it's not as if I'm stealing from them, the plan I have states that I can send MMS messages and yet as soon as they see that I'm trying to use an iPhone to send them they block it?

Do you mean that you did a soft-reset ?
Try clearing Safari's cache : Settings > Safari > Clear Cookies And Data and also Clear History
If that doesn't fix it then try closing Safari via the iPad's multitaskingbar and see if it works when you re-open it :double-click the home button to open the taskbar and then swipe or drag the Safari app's 'screen' up and off the top of the screen to close it, and click the home button to close the taskbar.
After trying the above you could also do a soft-reset (even if this is what you've already done it might be worth trying after clearing Safari's cache and closing the app via the taskbar) : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

The reason i asked this question is because i have been wondering this a lot ever since i got an exchange on this ipod (and ive only had it for a few weeks now) because my last ipod had a lot of problems. so after i restored my ipod with my computer/itunes, i downloaded apps that i wanted, and then when i went to the storage to see how much storage was left, it said 0 bytes. i was freaking out because i didnt know how that could be, i mean, cause like, that is impossible when i just 'purchased' it, that the space was full but i looked and all my pictures were on this ipod and i already put them on my computer so i dont need them anymore thats why i wanna reset it now so there is nothing on it so i can have more space for stuff to do and download on it.
it is updated to iOS 8 but that happened when i purchased it, so i didnt have a choice to update it even though i didnt want to update to iOS 8...

Hey Sierra, You can do just what you have stated. My question, what is your "other"? If it is over 1.5 GB you most likely have corrupt files. Doing a Restore to New, Factory restore should correct it. Just make sure you make a full backup of all information on your iPod to your computer before you restore, so you don't lose your stuff, contacts, videos, pictures, non-iTunes music, etc, use the cable and connect with your computer. Then, via cable, connect to your computer, run the Restore to new, don't use your backup. Treat this iPod as if it was your first one ever. When restore is done, set up and add what info you wish to install on this iPod. The music apps etc you purchased should be on your computer, if not you should be able to retrieve purchased apps and music from iTunes. Any music, videos, apps not purchased from iTunes will be lost to you if you do not save them to your computer or the cloud first. When your done, make a current Backup and you should good to go. I do NOT like using my credit card if I don't have to, and I went out of my way to go buy an Apple gift card, which I successfully redeemed into my Apple account. However, when I use the Apple "Cards" app, it will not let me use anything other than my credit card. I tried purchasing a card, hopefulling it would come out of my Apple store balance, but no such luck -- it came out of my credit card.

I am pretty sure it will always use the credit card unless payment method is set to none.
That has been my experience anyway.
They already have the money from the gift card so would rather collect from your credit card.

Some apps crash. If they do, try this, in order.
1. Double click your home button and put your finger on any app and hold for a second. Then delete that app. You're not deleting the app from your phone, so don't worry. Then try opening the app again.
2. If that doesn't work, hold your sleep+home buttons for 10 seconds and don't let go. Ignore the power off message. Then try again.
3. If that doesn't work, delete the app and re-download it. (This will work most of the time)
4. If that doesn't work, download the app on iTunes on your computer and sync it from there.
5. If that doesn't work, wait for an update by the developers.
