    There is no such thing as a Sprint/Virgin phone. It's either a Sprint phone, or a Virgin phone.
    If it's a Sprint phone, and you are a Sprint customer in good standing, then contact Sprint. They can unlock it for use on non US carriers.
    If it is not a Sprint phone or you do not meet Sprint's conditions for unlocking, or your intent is to use it on a different US carrier, you may as well sell it. Virgin in the US does not offer unlocking.

    Well, you've got a real mess on your hands with no easy solution. See, you're gonna have to go back to Spain to activate your phone on Orange's network, then request Orange to unlock it.
