When I try to login in to my Twitter, it gives me this error: An SSL error has occurred and a secure connection to the server cannot be made.
What's the solution? Thanks!Go into your browser preferences and make sure the boxes for ' Use SSL 3.0' and 'Use TLS 1.0' are checked. The settings will be in preferences > advanced > encryption.
You could also try using another browser. -

After I have done a last Apple Updated on my computer, can't anymore validate or submit apps usign Xcode, everytime I received this message: "An SSL error has occured and a secure connection to the server cannot be made"
Any ideas?I had this happen a while ago too when I switched development machines, but I was able to submit it from a friend's house, so I'm pretty sure it is my ISP but this should not be a problem. I am trying to push out another update and I'm having the same problem again. I would be very happy if there was a permanent solution to this problem.

After updating my iPhone 4s to iOS 6.1, Verification Failed: "An SSL error has occurred and a secure connection to the server cannot be made." My wifi connection works; the icon is present at the top left. But Internet apps won't connect, be it Safari, App Store or Facebook & instagram. Push notifications also work so posts from Facebook and Instagram still pop-up. Does any one have any ideas? Thanks.
I have the same problem. Worked fine on Friday. My VPN or any ssl site do not work on my iPhone 5. Both work perfect on iPhone 4 and 4s

"an SSL error has occured and a secure connection to the server cannot be made"
Hello,
I have tried to submit my app to the app store for hours now. It's the first time I get this error from submitting an app to app store.
I have restarted my mac and Xcode + cleaned project. Tried different internet connection with a different ISP.
Same error with both application loader and straight upload from Xcode.
Apples systems are all up: http://www.apple.com/support/systemstatus/
Any help would be highly appreciated.Ive had the same problem, at first i thought it was my laptop, restarted same issue, used 2 other internet connections and still had the same problem.

Make sure you have made an exception in firewall for SQL Server connection
Make sure SQL Server browser service is enabled
Make sure you connect with correct name hostname\instance name for named instance,MSSQLSERVER for default instance and Hotname\SQLEXPRESS for express edition.

SSL problem;couldn't establish a secure connection to the server, all https
I cannot log into any secure http sites using Safari. I have firefox, and everything works fine with that. I cannot use my mac mail either, as it says that there is something wrong with the server it's trying to log into.
I have OSX 10.3.9, and the latest version of Safari as well. There have been several threads posted regarding this problem and there do not seem to be any clear resolutions.
Will I have to re-install my OS, or is there a clean way of fixing this problem?
Again, Safari can't open any https pages (not even display them), while Firefox on the same computer has no problems.
Thanks for any help!I'm no expert, but I was having the same problem as you and tried various things to fix it as suggested in other posts on this forum - all to no avail - ..... until ..... I moved the trashed X509Anchors and X509Certificates back to /system/library/keychains folder. And now Safari works. Bizarro if you ask me.

I have had no issue accessing Facebook in the past using my MacAir. Last night each time I would try and access the page, an error message would appear, saying that unable to establish a secure connection to the server "www.facebook.com"". The problem continues this morning. I have not updated any software or made any changes. One minute it was working, the next it was not. I do not have any parental controls; I have deleted the cookies; and I have reset safari. I can access all other websites that I have tried. I am using Version 6.0.4.
From your Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Privacy tab.
Click: Remove All Website Data
Then delete the cache.
Now open a Finder window. From the Finder menu bar click Go > Go to Folder
Type or copy paste the following
~/Library/Caches/com.apple.Safari/Cache.db
Click Go then move the Cache.db file to the Trash.
Quit and relaunch Safari to test.
If nothing above helped, troubleshoot Safari extensions.
From the Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Extensions tab. Turn that OFF, quit and relaunch Safari to test.
If that helped, turn one extension on then quit and relaunch Safari to test until you find the incompatible extension then click uninstall.
If it's not an extensions issue, restart your internet modem and router. Then quit and relaunch Safari and try Facebook.
