Retore the device from your iCloud or iTunes backup.

No. It's not possible to track an iPod via its serial number. Again, with three years having passed after you lost it, it's gone for good.

my iphone 4s loses the signal and to recover it I have to turn on and off airplane mode, can anyone help me??

Generally speaking, the iPad backup process is a disaster recovery process, not an archive process.  Typically, when creating a new backup, the old one is erased.
If you go to iTunes' Preferences (under the leftmost heading in iTunes' menu on your computer) and then choose "Devices", do you see the specific backup you want to restore listed there?  If so, you can restore it.  If not, I don't believe you can.

  • Lost iPhone yesterday, battery died. Will I be able to find it?

My iPhone 5 died yesterday, and the last place I had it was on the train, searched all last night and today and I still can't find it, so I've either lost it at the station or someone's stolen it. I'm trying to use 'Find my iPhone' but I'm not sure if it was activated on my phone at the time. Any settings that I make on 'Find my iPhone' (such as pass code lock, display message and number to ring etc) will they be applied to the phone once it gets turned on, or will it not work if 'iFMiP' was not turned on on my phone. Also, will 'find...'  Alert me if it does get turned on, or am I just staring at a useless screen. I'm so scared that someone will try to use my phone. Also, how can I go about unlinking my bank card to my Apple ID? I'd rather take it off so someone can't buy things from my phone. In fact, how can I change all my settings so that the Apple ID passwords and such are different? Thank you
Not sure what operating system I've got, it's the one where you side from the bottom to access Bluetooth, wifi etc ANC has a torch and such- not sure if helpful in any way.

When you have found it, charge the battery, then you will be able to find it next time!

How to block the lost iphone 4s?

You would have to have set up "Find My iPhone" in your iCloud account, and use that same app on another computer to synced to your iPhone to block it.
    Hope this helps

  • How to find my lost iphone no app instaled

How to find my lost iphone no app installed. There is a way to find my iphone by serial number, ip adress or something please help me.

The only way to locate/disable/erase any lost/stolen iPhone is through Find My Phone or a similar app. However, this requires that Find My Phone be setup/activated, on your phone, before it was lost/stolen. You would then login at iCloud.com & try to locate it. This requires the phone be turned on & have an Internet connection. There is no other way to locate a lost/stolen iPhone. Apple can't/won't help you, nor will your carrier. Report the loss to the Police, your carrier & Insurance company. Change all of your passwords.
If your carrier offers Blacklisting & they Blacklist the phone, it will be unusable as a phone.
If locked with a passcode, all a thief or whoever finds it has to do is force the phone into recovery mode & restore it. While this deletes all data on the phone, it also removes the passcode so the phone can then be used as a phone or touch.

  • Iphone deadstrip problem, is this sw or hw issue?

I got my iphone wet awhile ago and I have a deadstrip area (keypad 7,8,9), everything else works fine.
I am now using my phone just as an ipod since I can't use the keypad, about to upgrade to 3g phone.
I upgraded my iphone os to v2 last night and then downloaded few apps, I downloaded a free game called JirboMatch and strangely all the areas of the touch works within this game! So how can this be??
If my display is broken, it should not work, has anyone else seen this? If you have a deadstrip on your iphone, can you try this out? Perhaps we can find out what these guys did to make their app work when the OS doesn't respond to this area....

I'm having a similar issue. I'm unable to use any buttons in the top bar for almost every add-in app. there are lots of posts about this but so far not a single idea on a solution.

  • Lost iphone in mexico

Hi i lost my phone 2 days ago in Mexico i do have the find my phone feature but my phone was in the airplane mode. I did recieve a msg that it was found but i could not see its location on a map    any ideas thank you

With Airplane mode enabled, Find My iPhone cannot work.
You received a message from what that it was found? With Airplane mode enabled, a message cannot be sent. And if you didn't have the Passcode Lock feature enabled, all someone has to do is turn Find My iPhone off with your iCloud account settings on your iPhone or turn Location Services off.

  • How to find my lost iphone if wireless is off?

how to find my lost iphone if wireless is off?

If you had enabled find-my-iPhone before it was lost, you could track it as long as it had a data connection - either 3G or wifi, doesn't matter which just so long as the iPhone and the iCloud servers can talk to each other.  But, in order to track it at all, you need to enable the find setting under your iCloud account's settings on the iPhone before it goes missing.
After it has been lost (and without the tracking setting enabled), with or without a data connection, there is nothing you can do to track it remotely.

  • Issue with Airplane Mode on legitimately unlocked iPhone

    Hi,
I bought an iPhone in Australia from a distributor for one of the large carriers. I bought the white 16Gb outright and paid the fee to have the phone unlocked (as is permitted in Australia). It all worked well with both an Aus and a UK SIM card I had.
The white plastic back then cracked so I took it to an Apple store where they replaced it. I told the Genius that I'd had it unlocked and he said no problems, etc, etc.
He replaced the phone and I took it home, all seemed to work well. Again, with both SIMs.
I installed the 2.2 firmware upgrade.
    Now to the troublesome bit.
Sitting in Melbourne airport, about to leave Australia for some significant time, I swapped the SIMs over and the phone started complaining about needing to be connected to iTunes.
I did this and it unlocked (again).
Question 1: Do I really have to connect to iTunes every time I change the SIM?
I replaced the SIM with my Aus one and turned the phone off to fly to Kuala Lumpur. On arrival in KL I swapped SIMs again, went through the hassle of connecting to iTunes to unlock.
Then, as I wanted to use the phone on my net flight to watch movies and play Fuzzle, I turned on Airplane Mode with the UK SIM.
The phone instantly complains about the SIM being changed and asks to be connected to iTunes. I did this (getting annoyed at this point)! This time, iTunes reports that the phone is fauly and I should take to an Apple Store
I then replaced the SIM with my Aus one, and it all started working nicely again including allowing me to use Airporne Mode.
Question 2: Why can't I use Airplane Mode when my UK SIM is installed?
This seems like a bug to me, rather than some complication with Airplane mode. Surely if my phone has been unlocked and I can make calls with both SIMs, then I can use Airplane Mode regardless of which SIM I'm using?
Added complication here is that I'm not going back to Australia for a while (maybe years), so unless Apple are nice to me and decide that the phone is faulty and will replace it in the UK, I'm going to be left with an expensive, and white, iPod Touch.
    Cheers for any suggestions,
    Ian

I don't think the problem lies specifically with the SIM card, but with the software on the phone.
I would appreciate others trying to replicate my problem with their iPhones. Simple steps (requireing an unlocked iPhone) are...
    1. Insert original SIM card (all should be fine)
    2. Remove orginal SIM card and replace with second carrier SIM
    3. Sync with iTunes to get the phone working again.
    4. Either turn on Airplane Mode or turn the phone off and on again.
    5. The phone (at least mine) will require you to connect to iTunes again.
Turning on Airplane Mode or turning the phone off and on with the original SIM card inserted doesn't lead to this behaviour.

  • I had to get my hard drive replaced from Apple, I lost all of my music obviously.  My question is, how can I get all my music off of my iPhone onto iTunes?  Since it's a new hard drive, the iPhone isn't recognizing this as it's home computer.

You will need to use third-party software to transfer music from your phone to the iTunes Library. I recommend Phone to Mac - Pod to Mac | Macroplant.com.

I'm afraid you're out of luck.  If it says incomplete you won't be able to access the backup.
