my iphone4 says searching in the top left corner and i can not make calls or get calls how do i fix it so i have my service back
you can try a reset, hold down the home/sleep button until you see the apple logo and then release, then wait fro the phone to boot back up.
if that doesn't work contact your cell provider

Yesterday morning, my phone decided to kick me of my network and not let me back in. In the top left corner, it just says 'Searching...'. I have tried restarting my phone, resetting all settings and resetting network settings and nothing has decided to work for me. I then went to reset my phone but it will not let me log out of 'Find my Phone'. Therefore it did not allow me to reset my phone.

hey guys i trust you are well .my phone has a problem where it says searching in the top left corner where my service providers name is supposed to be ,it has done this before i fix it by connecting to itune on my pc this time it got stuck in setup mode and cannot find a activation server.and itunes says it cannot fix the problem and i should contact support hence this message please help .thank you in advance

Turn your iPhone off, then on again.
Remove the SIM card and verify that it's a valid, carrier-manufactured SIM. Also verify that it isn't damaged, worn, or modified. Then reinsert it.

some how I moved the screen over and lost the left side It will not let me grab it and drag it back it is not from the arrow in the top right corner and hitting esc does not fix it. HELP.

I bought an iphone 3gs on o2 which was working fine till i restored it (which put ios5 on to it) now it wont activate, it keeps saying on itunes no sim inserted and on the iphone it has searching then says no service! Any ideas what i can do as cant get any further!
Some SIM cards were affected by iOS updates. Either contact O2 to get a replacement SIM or pop into a local phone shop and pick up a replacement SIM.
Once you have your new SIM, O2 have a swap my SIM page on their web site here:

Follow the instructions on the O2 page and you should be up and running.
O2 do say it can take up to 24 hrs for SIM to be active, but I found it usually only takes half an hour or so before the new SIM is active.

Thunderbird just has a rotating "busy" sign in the top left corner - how do I make it do something!?
Trying to confirm that 2 emails were sent earlier - neither register with in the Thunderbird folders.
This persists even if I close it down and re-start it - and I have tried safe mode as well!
The error messages I saw earlier are confused and repetitive!

I'm trying to open a file of media clips & sequences to the browser. They're in Documents>Capture Scratch>P2 folder. When I click on P2 folder it opens the list in the right column. But it won't open the whole list in the brower where I need them. It
