The camera on my iphone 5 will not open up. Not to camera or video. I have tried to shut down the apps. Shut down the phone and done a reset. What can I do? No I have not updated to the new ios.
Buy a retail Snow Leopard DVD. After installing that, you can upgrade to Lion if you wish.

Are you following these instructions.
Remove ALL cables from Apple TV. (if you don't you will not see Apple TV in the iTunes Source list)
Connect the micro USB cable to the Apple TV and to your computer.
Reconnect the power cable (only for Apple TV 3)
Open iTunes.
Select your Apple TV in the Source list, and then click Restore. -

What do you mean "not working"? That could mean multiple different things.

help me my ipod 4th generation will not charge. i have tryed a wall ataptor an other computers.What should i do? Should i get a new ipod or should i try and get a new charger and see if that helps.It has not been changing for two weeks straight now .Help Please.
Either your USB cable for the charger has been damaged or the part of the iPod where you insert the USB cable is damaged. This usually happens due to water damage or carelessly removing the USB plug off from the iPod. Hope this clears some doubts
You might also wanna try and check with the Genius Bar at Apple, they usually know whats wrong. -
Firefox/google will not work - I have tried everything!
Firefox will not work.
Internet conection is fine, firewall configured, firefox removed and reinstalled (3.6 and 4.0) and all I get is;

I tried resetting my iPod the camera worked then but when I tried to flip it to the front camera it closed and now it doesnt work again.

I use my camera for video and photos. When I download my videos to my ipad1 using the camera connection kit, they will not play.

I haven't tried videos on my camera yet. Do you use the Videos App to play them? I don't think they will play in the Photos App.
If yours are in a format that is not in Vazandrew's list, you may need to sync them to your computer and convert them to M4V or MP4 format. You can use a program like HandBrake to do the conversion. <HandBrake> Once converted, you can sync them back to the iPad and they should play.
This may not meet your needs, but the alternative appears to be getting a different camera. I don't know of another Video App that might work.

My iMessage screen is locked horizontally and will not rotate. When I access the camera through iMessage it will not rotate either. Any help with this will be very much appreciated.

Upgrading to V4 has lost all of my Bookmarks, I still have the restore files in my profile data but they will not load, I have tried importing the html backup file too but it didn't work either. How can I get them back?

Thank you for your response, I went throught each and every step without any luck, even got the recovery programme, and painstakingly tried to sift through all that mumbojumbo to find what i needed. finally found the bookmark bit, but it had been fully overwritten :(, so on reading about previous ff versions, found the sqlite thingys, and they were relatively unscathed(partly written over, but saveable apparently TG), saved them to adiff drive, amongst other possibly good folders. Then looked up how to install them, and it said to close FF, and install to profile folder.
So i tried to close FF, and the original problem from a few days ago, where it asked me if 'i was sure i wanted to close this window as it has X tabs open', popped up again. This is where 'open blank page' selection was set, over 'open previous tabs'. Wanting to save that info on how to sort out these friggin files, I reset the Option to 'open previous tabs', and closed FF. After unsucessfully searching for the profile folder on my laptop, i opened FF intending to search online for where i could find said folder.
AND BANG, surprise surprise, the FF I had just closed with only tabs open about finding out what the heck to do, had disappeared, and instead my original saved tabs were up, and my bookmarks are there..... I am gobsmacked! what the heck just happened there???
I have made 3 back up in different folders now, of those friggin bookmarks. I am weary now tho of shutting it all down.... what if its back to the other pages I had with no bookmarks, tomorrow :( -
I have tried to update my iPhone using the iTunes method but it will not work. The message "The iTunes update server could not be contacted. Please check your internet connection or try again later," appears. What do I do? The Internet is working fine.
Have you tried the following troubleshooting document?
iTunes for Windows: iTunes cannot contact the iPhone, iPad, or iPod software update server
If you end up using the If the iTunes Store opens successfully section of the document, and the "Automatically detect settings" checkbox is already checked, try unchecking and rechecking it and clicking OK. -

My ipad 2 will not work. I tried to reset it many times. Nothing. I plugged it into my computer and followed directions so itunes would show up. Tried to restore (bummer to lose everything!) The ipad could not be restored due to an unknown error (code 9). Any help?

The buttons on my Torch will not work...I can receive calls but can't answer them. I cannot do anything with the phone...it is fully charged - HELP! I am traveling and this is now critical!
I don't have a 9800 here to test, but if you keep the keyboard closed, isn't there a onscreen enter key?
Normally the buttons not workng is indicative of moisture issues. It sounds like what I have seen multiple times on a device with moisture damage.
Even sitting on a bathroom counter during a hot steamy shower or bath can cause keyboard and trackball problems UNTIL properly dried out. It really is more common than you think.
1. Remove the battery immediately!! Do not attempt to turn on your BlackBerry.
2. Let the device dry in a warm, dry place for 3 to 5 days* (see below)
3. DO NOT "check it each day" by placing the battery in. Leave it be to dry completely. This takes time. Replacing the battery to check it can only damage it more (moisture + electrical current = disaster).
4. If the device is warm after the drying period, allow it to cool to room temperature before placing the battery back in.
Suggestions on drying your BlackBerry in a warm place (open, with the battery out):
*Place the BB in a container of dry UNcooked rice, and then you might also place it in any of the locations mentioned below.
*On top of any dry heat emitting electronic component: TV cabinet or CRT, LCD, cable TV/Satellite converter box or plasma monitor
*On the dashboard of your car on a sunny day

i cannot connect to itunes because my 10 year "forgot" her password. so all the restore suggestions utilizing itunes will not work...HELP!
You may need to put the iPod into recovery mode : http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1808 - you should then be able to reset the iPod and re-sync its content.
