HT4993 turn on
Hi,
I know i have been posting a lot, but lately I have been having issues with my iPhone 4S. When I plug it in, it turns on just fine, but when I disconnect it from the cord, it turns off immediately. Any ideas why? Thanks!
This is most often caused by faulty battery. All iPhone 4S have full Warranty Coverage with Apple. Make Genius Reservation and take iPhone to Apple for resolution.

so i picked up my brother from school today and on the way i was getting alot of texts and i read them but didnt reply, then i put my iphone on the arm rest thing, and when i came home, it didnt wanna turn on, idk why... it was around 80 percent battery and it wont turn on! i tryed connecting it to my wall, and nothing then i tryed to connect it to itunes, and nothing comes out, its already installed to my laptop but when i connect it, it wont turn on or open itunes please help!

I woke up and my iphone 4 was off, but it had a charge when i slept for 2 hours, woke up and now it wont turn on, wont charge. Its almost like its 'dead'. Any ideas?
Have you tried a reset ? Press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds, after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the equivalent of a reboot.

Go to Settings-Sounds-Text Tone and change to None. You're referring to the sound when posting a message to someone else, correct? The only issue is if you set to none, you will not hear the incoming either.

My phone would randomly turn off and take awhile to turn back on. I usually have to manually turn it on but sometimes it doesn't work. Any reason for the cause of this? And options to fix it?
Restore iPhone with iTunes on computer. If the problem persists after the Restore, this is most likely battery problem. If there is Warranty or AppleCare make Genius reservation or set up service and take or send to Apple for resolution.

I found the following steps to take if you need to deactivate iMessage:
iMessage is registered with your cellular telephone number when you turn it on with your iPhone. If you want to deregister your phone number:
