Maybe you stored them on the e-mail account, check changing the filter of the contacts on the phone and checking where are they saving
Go to Contacts and then groups, to see where are they located

Apps are tied to the Apple Id they were purchased with. So any updates for the Apps will ask for that apple ID to update.
The only way to prevent this is if you remove all the Apps that were purchased with your ID from the iPad. -

the same problem happened to me also, i felt that while playing hay day, if some calls came in between and if i answered the call, the setting of all the icloud items turns off. (i have backup of all the items on icloud), after deleting the account and making settings of mail, contact, calander etc on on mode and after rebooting the phone, it again download from icloud server. but it is just a headache. do not know how to handle this.

I recently deleted a contact from my phone book and when I send a text the same contact appears.. How do I remove it?
I don't believe there's much you can do about it...have a look at the "More Like This" pane on the right side of this page.
One way though to eliminate the issue (although not a very good way) is to restore the phone as new. -
If I delete a contact from my phone book, the number is still there when I go to type in a name to send a text message to, and is listed as 'other number'.
Can anyone please tell my why this is and how I can delete a number completely?
Thanks.Th einformation is stored in cache memory on the phone. The only way to get rid of it is to restore the phone as new and you will lose data and settings. Eventually the cache will be overwritten so just ignore it

I have lost some my contact on IPhone 4s without restart or after install programme.
If you did not set up the phone to sync with an address book app on your computer or with the address book app in iCloud then they are gone forever. If you DID sync with one of those they should come back the next time you sync.

I woke up one morning this week to find that some of my contacts have been deleted from my iphone 5 and ipad first generation. This is very random and my icloud is not showing the missing numbers either. Does anyone know if there are any other back ups that apple has to the contact lists? or How I can retrieve them?

When I try to access Address Book from my backup HD I cannot ... and I get this message: "You can't use this version of the Application "Address Book" with this version of OS X. You have address Book 5.0.3. So what! It worked until this morning. Now what?
Mail by default will show everything in your inbox, irrespective of how old it is. The only way I know you might be able to change that is by creating a Rule that alters how older emails are treated. Most likely you would know about any such Rules, assuming this is your personal machine. You can see if anything like that exists on your account by looking at Mail>Preferences>Rules tab.
I presume you are just talking about your regular Inbox? -

I have lost some of my bookshelfs after the last update and cannot create a new one. How can I fix it? I don't have them on my PC so I can't synchronize them. What can I do? Pretty dissapointed right now!
If the contact were added after the backup was made they will not be in the backup. If your contacts were synced with iCloud they may be there. If so they will apear shortly on your new phone.
