Since upgrading to ios7, I can't get face time or message to work. When I try to sign in with Apple ID, I get error message saying check wifi connection and try again. I looked at support pages but can't sign in. Face time works ok on iPod touch

Try Reset all settings
Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings
Note: Data will not be affected but settings will be reset.

Can't connect Face Time from my iPhone 4S to my iMac

Hello, I have a problem similar to one many people seem to be having, in that I can't get Face Time to connect. The difference with me is that I can Face Time connect from the iMac to the iPhone 4S but not vice versa. When I try the latter, the connect button appears momentarily on the iMac before disappearing and an alert appearing on the iphone saying that the email address I'm trying to contact "is busy"
The same applies to my MBP
Any suggestiions for fixes
I am in the UK, by the way, using O2 with wifi.

are you using the same Apple ID on both devices? If so, that is the problem. Its much like trying to call your own phone number with a regular phone, you'll be forwarded straight to voicemail.

How do I can't get Face Time to work on my iMac.

I have OS X 10.9.4 on my iMac computer. Face Time quit working. Tried to buy the 99 cent app, but was told my computer has a newer version installed. Was told I would have to uninstall what I have and then download the 99 cent app, if I want to change. Looking for answers as to what to do.

When I try to use Face Time, I sign in and click next. I am told about choices to reach me by phone and e-mail. I chose phone and e-mail and click next. This takes me back to sign in. I try clicking on the number I want to call from my contact list and nothing happens. My favorites no longer appear on my screen. Do you have any suggestions? facetime hasn't worked consistently since April 17th. Rumor going around that it's a way to force people to upgrade to iOS7, who previously wanted to stay with iOS6.

No. The program for your mac is OS X, the phone is iOS. It is a different system, so you would have to purchase the compatible program.

I can't get face time to activate.

I cannot get facetime on my iPhone 4. I used to have it when I first got my phone but now I have nothing. It says it is on in settings but is waiting to activate.
Other people in my community have it available but not me.

FaceTime is not on the iPhone 3GS because it does not have a front-facing camera. Think about it - if you wanted to use the camera, you'd have to turn the phone around - but then you wouldn't be able to see the other person.
FaceTime is on iPod touch 4th Gen, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPad 2 and The New iPad.
