iOS 7.1.1
CFNetwork HTTPProtocolAvailable for: iPhone 4 and later, iPod touch (5th generation) and later, iPad 2 and later
Impact: An attacker in a privileged network position can obtain web site credentials
Description: Set-Cookie HTTP headers would be processed even if the connection closed before the header line was complete. An attacker could strip security settings from the cookie by forcing the connection to close before the security settings were sent, and then obtain the value of the unprotected cookie. This issue was addressed by ignoring incomplete HTTP header lines.
CVE-ID
CVE-2014-1296 : Antoine Delignat-Lavaud of Prosecco at Inria Paris
IOKit KernelAvailable for: iPhone 4 and later, iPod touch (5th generation) and later, iPad 2 and later
Impact: A local user can read kernel pointers, which can be used to bypass kernel address space layout randomization
Description: A set of kernel pointers stored in an IOKit object could be retrieved from userland. This issue was addressed through removing the pointers from the object.
CVE-ID
CVE-2014-1320 : Ian Beer of Google Project Zero working with HP's Zero Day Initiative
Security - Secure TransportAvailable for: iPhone 4 and later, iPod touch (5th generation) and later, iPad 2 and later
Impact: An attacker with a privileged network position may capture data or change the operations performed in sessions protected by SSL
Description: In a 'triple handshake' attack, it was possible for an attacker to establish two connections which had the same encryption keys and handshake, insert the attacker's data in one connection, and renegotiate so that the connections may be forwarded to each other. To prevent attacks based on this scenario, Secure Transport was changed so that, by default, a renegotiation must present the same server certificate as was presented in the original connection.
CVE-ID
CVE-2014-1295 : Antoine Delignat-Lavaud, Karthikeyan Bhargavan and Alfredo Pironti of Prosecco at Inria Paris
WebKitAvailable for: iPhone 4 and later, iPod touch (5th generation) and later, iPad 2 and laterImpact: Visiting a maliciously crafted website may lead to an unexpected application termination or arbitrary code executionDescription: Multiple memory corruption issues existed in WebKit. These issues were addressed through improved memory handling.CVE-IDCVE-2013-2871 : miaubizCVE-2014-1298 : Google Chrome Security TeamCVE-2014-1299 : Google Chrome Security Team, Apple, Renata Hodovan of University of Szeged / Samsung ElectronicsCVE-2014-1300 : Ian Beer of Google Project Zero working with HP's Zero Day InitiativeCVE-2014-1302 : Google Chrome Security Team, AppleCVE-2014-1303 : KeenTeam working with HP's Zero Day InitiativeCVE-2014-1304 : AppleCVE-2014-1305 : AppleCVE-2014-1307 : Google Chrome Security TeamCVE-2014-1308 : Google Chrome Security TeamCVE-2014-1309 : cloudfuzzerCVE-2014-1310 : Google Chrome Security TeamCVE-2014-1311 : Google Chrome Security TeamCVE-2014-1312 : Google Chrome Security TeamCVE-2014-1313 : Google Chrome Security TeamCVE-2014-1713 : VUPEN working with HP's Zero Day Initiative

Do not remove it from the box...
But if you must, and you want no scratches, you will need something like the Otter Box Defender or the LifeProof case.
But they all make the phone much bigger.  I use the Otterbox, I like the extra bulk and protection.
Google is your friend, this has been discussed a Zillion times.

How to protect my Apple Mac from computer viruses, malware & phishing?

Unless you are running a Windows partition, you do not need to be concerned about viruses. As for malware and phishing, good internet browsing habits, and using common sense when downloading software that is not from the App Store will go a long way to preventing those types of issues.
There is a lot of disagreement among the Community members concerning the prudence of installing any sort of AVP. As white_bellied shows above, it can slow down your machine.
I do not have any sort of AVP running on my Mac, and I have never had any issues with malware or phishing.
There are many discussion about AVP on the forum. If you do a search for Anti-virus, you will be able to see some of the opinions and discussions that may help you to make the best decision for you.

  • IPhone 4 cases:  How much protection do you think it needs?

Got my iPhone 4. Luckily, it works perfectly so far.
But I do think the phone looks much more fragile and breakable than my old 3G.
Now, I don't mind a thin, attractive case because I'm slightly clutzy and it's gonna drop out of my pocket a few times, this I know.
So I bought a case from a mall vendor that's no name but seems well made -- thin silicone that covers the back and the sides. $15. Do I need to do better?
My question(s) to everyone are... how thick and sturdy do you think we need to go to protect the iphone 4 from a drop? And what is the best case material for withstanding a fall? Is there something you've found that is not too bulky and industrial looking -- or does it need to be thick and padded to be truly protective?
And can I avoid spending $30 on a case (or that Apple bumper thing) and feel like my phone is protected?
I know nothing about this stuff so would love some opinions. Thanks!

  • How well is my mail protected on iPhone or iPad?

Hello! Can u tell me how well is my mail protected on iPhone or iPad?
Seems that 4-digit number is simply not enogh to get a goot protetcion of the device (and mail in it)

You can turn off "simple passcode" under Settings - Passcode, and then you can set whatever (alphanumeric) passcode you like, if you want it to be more complex than 4 numbers.
And don't forget that with email, there's also a potential vulnerability in your email password itself. If that is simple/obvious, someone could hack your email from another vector - through webmail, for example - without having any access to your phone.

    Try:
    - Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - Power off and then back on the router
    - Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings
    - iOS: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections
    - iOS: Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points
    - Restore from backup. See:
    iOS: How to back up
    - Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
    - Make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store.
Apple Retail Store - Genius Bar
    maybe this:
iOS: Wi-Fi or Bluetooth settings grayed out or dim
If not successful, an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is usually in order.

  • How can i activate iphone 4 on ios6 without a sim card?

how can i activate iphone 4 on ios6 without a sim card?i upgraded mu iphone to ios but the iphone is factory locked so i can not activate it with a sim card because i dont have the original sim card.is another way to do it?

You cannot do anything without a sim for the carrier the iPhone is locked to.  With that you can attempt to restore using the recovery mode described in http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1212 but note that if the previous owner installed an Apple ID and password and turned on Settings > iCloud > Find My Phone, you will never get it to work without the Apple ID and password.  That is the Activation Lock, an anti-theft protection system.

  • How can i make iphone mobile website,  database in Sql Server 2005 ?

how can i make iphone mobile website,  database in Sql Server 2005 ?
    Thanks & Regards

You need to be a little clearer in what you're asking.
You can't make any web site in SQL Server - it's a database engine, not a website tool.
What you can do is create web sites that pull data from a back-end SQL Server, but the SQL server doesn't handle the client connection at all (that's handled by a web server such as Apache, IIS, or similar).
There are many ways to build such a site including .NET, PHP, Perl and more (although I don't know all the options for Windows servers because they're not as common outside of corporate/enterprise networks).
In either case, given your choice of development language (HTML, plus one of the PHP/Perl/.NET/etc. options), plus your database (SQL Server) plus your web server (IIS, Apache, etc.) you can make any web site you like (or, at least, you're capable of developing).
If you want to opimize that web site for iPhones then there are many references on how mobile browsing differs from the desktop. I'd recommend this book as a reference (and, yes, I understand the irony of linking to a paperback book for web design guidance ). Googling mobile web design (or iPhone web design) might yield more results.

The iPhone supports A2DP (audio streaming), headsets, tethering, and limited functionality for some apps in the app store.

If you are trying to connect for other purposes, it simply will not happen.

<b>What do you mean by Protect Table, Program and Report?</b>
Let me ask you one base Question, On which area are you working? Are you from functional side or Technical side (Developement or Basis guy)?
This is very clear cut answer that with the restricted autorization you can protect table and programs. Do not provide the change autorization.
CATCH your BASIS guy and he will do rest of the things. Just explain him what are you want to protect.
    Hope this helps.
