HT5012 Wireless Printing from i Pad Air to HP 8600

When I bought my i Pad 3Gt printed wirelessly to my HP 8600. Recently I had a paper jam caused by my Mac Desktop which I cleared. Since then my i Pad 3G won't print wirelessly. Does any have a suggestion to solve this problem? Thanks

If the above doesn't work; try wireless direct printing.
Setup Wireless Direct Printer (this printer generate it's own Wi-Fi)
1. Turn on HP wireless direct from the printer’s control panel.
2. Settings>Wi-Fi>Look for printer>Connect to the HP wireless direct network.
3. Start printing without wires

If you turn the wireless function on the printer on and select the print option for whatever it is you want to print, you should then be able to select the Envy printer (from a list if there is more than one wireless printer around) and print to it via the Ipad's inbuilt Air print app. For example, on IOS7 when selecting a photo to print, the options Icon should look like this: When you click the options Icon you should then be able to select the print Icon below: You should then be in a position to select your printer. I understand you have a Photosmart C6180 that you're having issues using in Mac 10.9. I'm sorry to hear this has been happening, but I will certainly do my best to assist you.
I'm wondering how you installed the printer. If you had it installed prior to upgrading to 10.9 that could be part of the problem. There are currently no HP drivers available for this printer for 10.9, so you need to uninstall the HP software and install the printer via the Apple updates. Once you do that you should be able to print normally and scan using 3 different methods.

In order to print from your I-Pad or I-Phone you would need to be connected through wireless. Air Print works when your printer and device ( ipad or iphone) is connected to the same WI-FI network.

My HP Officejet Pro 8600 can't print from my MacBook Air

Hi,
My HP Officejet Pro 8600 can't print from my MacBook Air. It keeps on showing "The printer is not connected", but the screen on the printer shows connected. I often reset the printer 'EVERY TIME" I want to use it. I also tried to turn off my laptop and printer several times before printing. If I'm lucky enough, it will work maybe for one or two prints. If no luck then I'll have to reset everything again. Sometimes I reset the printer, the printer will not show on my selection.

I understand you're unable to print most times with your Officejet 8600. How is this printer connected? Wireless or USB? What is your operating system on your Mac computer? Click here to find out.
If your printer is wireless, then I would recommend assigning a "Static IP Address" by following this HP document on Printer Does Not Maintain Wireless Connection.

Problems printing from my Macbook Air to my HP Envy 120

Hi,
I am really getting very frustrated as trying to print from my Macbook Air to my HP Envy 120.
I have downloaded from the HP website the software which is compatible with OS X 10.9.4 and installed it. My printer is also connected to my Wifi router and prints off a test report and also I can print from my ipad.
When I install the software and it goes to look for the printer - nothing is found.
Any ideas as I am pulling my hair out now.

I don't get it, I read one post about why would we have to buy an AirPrint Printer when we have used the "print to a wifi printer" just fine in the past? Yes I feel that's exactly what's happening to me now too. I want to print from my iPhone and iPad to my WiFi Printer which is also now connected to my Airport Express WiFi network just fine. No problems.

Wireless printing from I Mac to Epson PX700

I am unable to print to my epson px700 wireless printer from my imac it comes up with an error message "broken pipe" or "communication error". Have installed, uninstalled and reinstalled software. I have tried deleting printer from my old laptop incase of any problems (no problem printing from that one). I am able to check ink levels and print test pages but nothing else. Please help me as this is so frustrating!!

turned off ipv6 ( i have a working implementation)
print a page from aperture or iphoto.
try to print again, just sits in the printer job as having passed 0 bytes
never prints.
delete job
print test page, ok cups page prints
print again from iphoto, fails, try again fails, wait some more Maybe works

traceyss--this might work on mac air: on google cloud print i went to the cloud site http://w.x.y.z(put in your numbers) and then menu-utilities-energy saving settings, where i turned off "auto off" (clicking on it leads you to this choice) and turned on "auto on." then i turned off printer and restarted in 5 seconds to get the changes into the mg3520's little brain: so far, so good(on a chromebook). hope this works for you!--ceaisland55
